"Well, I'm glad to hear that you are happy. You certainly look well." She smiled. Critter wasn't the only one oogling, but Miri was just more subtle about it. "I fear I haven't gotten to visit your family either. Are you mother and sister doing well?" She asked, genuinely concerned. She loved his family almost like her own. "Oh, me? Why, I'm fine. A little lonely, but nothing that can't be fixed with a little company. That is, if you don't mind. I don't mean to hold you up." She blushed, realizing that he may have already been heading somewhere.

It was too bad Critter didn't know how to be subtle as he could have really used it to keep his oogling under control. "Thank you! So do you." He replied with a smile of his own. "Mother is doing quite well when she's not on my case and sister's found herself a boyfriend so we hardly see her at all anymore." Critter chuckled. He couldn't remember when he ever saw his sister so happy before. His ears perked at her words on how she was doing. Lonely was she? Oh he would certainly be happy to help there. "Oh no no no! I'd be happy to join you! I could use some company myself." He replied with an over excited smile. What a score to find an old friend, an old pretty mare friend, who needed some company! There was no way he was passing this up.
