"Okay...nothing deep. I promise. Cross my heart." Oceanid rolled over and got to her feet then offered him a hand. "Come on." Little smile. She wouldn't let anything happen to her friend.

Corbin nods as he got up, without taking Oceanid's hand. He then looked at her and grinned lightly. "Lean on," he said, staying rather closet to Oceanid.

With a giggle Oceanid ran back to the water, not stopping until she was up to her hips in it. "Come on, Corbin." She turned and waited for him to make his way to her, it never really occured to her that he was afraid.

"Umm..." Corbin said as he stopped and stared at the water. "Can I be frank with you? I got a little thing about the water.." he said, looking at it like it was going to swallow him whole and drown him where he stood.

"If you don't wanna...that's okay too." Oceanid nodded and started heading toward the shore again. "But, you know I wouldn't let anything happen to you, right?"

"I know.. its just a mental thing I think," Corbin said as he looks regrettably up at Oceanid. "I really want to go out there with you but.. same time.. going intothe water stops me."

Oceanid idly kicked up a little water as she got to the shore, returning again to her friend's side.
"S'okay. When you feel safe going, let me know and I'll take you." She hugged him and kissed his cheek. Might as well change the subject.

Corbin grins weakly at Oceanid as he sigh. What a wuss he was. He couldn't even managed to get an inch within the water for the fear of something in it will swallow him up and make him disappear forever. "Umm.. sure," he said as he nods, moving his head at the same time Oceanid had kissed his cheek. Instead of catching his cheek, she caught his mouth in a kiss.

A suprise indeed, but not a totally unwelcome one. Her skin flushed a deeper blue than normally and she pulled back after a moment or two, eyes a little wider. "I-Uhm....mhm."

Corbin blinked, shocked by what he done. It was a mere head turn and it had landed him in a lip lock with a beauty like Oceanid. "Um.." he said, chuckling nervously as he scratches his head.

What to do now?! Running in the opposite direction doesn't seem like a bad idea now but he didn't want to hurt Oceanid, physically nor emotionally at this point. "..umm really?" he asked, grinning at Oceanid; he didnt even know why he had said that!

"Really really." Her head tilted to side. Maybe he was as nervous as she was. She plunked down on the sand again and patted the spot beside her, wanting him to join her.

Corbin looked in a daze at the spot next to Oceanid. Wow.. maybe she does like-like him. If she didn't.. well she would've told him to go tee off in the opposite direction. "Umm sure," he said, his nervous act dropping just a bit as he moved to Oceanid and plopped in the sand.

Oceanid leaned against him, resting her head against his shoulder and wrapping her arms around the one of his closest to her. It was more instinct that anything, she was confused.
