Ulrich's jaw dropped, and he looked from Elnara to Serenity. "I thought Kara said she had three!" he exclaimed in a hushed tone.

Serenity laughed and held up Idhril's vase. "This one makes six," she grinned. She set it to the side, out of the way, where it wouldn't be knocked over by anyone.

Ulrich shook his head incredulously and looked up towards the doorway, where he could see Elnara and someone else - a man, by the looks of it, though he couldn't really see him very well. Elnara was too much in the way.

"Well, come in, come in," he invited everyone. "Just try to keep your voices down if you can."

He rubbed the back of his neck and muttered softly to himself.

Elnara grinned, holding Storm in one arm, and waved to Ulrich. "Hello, Ulrich," she greeted him. "You know Skye already, apparently ... and the rest are ... Celebor, Serenity, Storm, and Starr."

She pointed at each of them as she introduced them, and with each introduction the proud expression on her face grew stronger. Then she took a step to the side.

"And this," she said, her smile growing even wider, "is Lore."

"Ah," Ulrich grinned knowingly. "Lore. We've been looking forward to meeting you - though I admit, we had expected you a bit sooner."

He gave Serenity a look. "It's been over two years!" he accused her. "Daeron's just about given up on you!"

Serenity shrugged. "It was barely a month there," she replied. "Less than half of one of ours. I couldn't help it. Besides," she added with a grin, "staying with Elnara's new family was so much fun!"

Lore watched as the children went off, wondering about who Elnara was talking about. He hoped the children wouldn't get into anything they shouldn't.

Elnara looked over at Lore. "Ulani is his wife," she reminded him. But then she looked back at Ulrich, her expression curious. "Aliya ... ?"

Skye fidgeted and tried to get down. She knew there was someone in that room that she wanted to see - she had one of her feelings again.

Elnara's jaw dropped. "Seriously?" she laughed. "That's amazing! Congratulations!" She darted forward and gave Ulrich a hug - as well as she could without squishing Storm.

Ulrich laughed. "Yeah, ever since she was born, I've felt a lot better about everything."

He grinned. "But you'll see them later. Right now, I want to hear about you two." He nodded at Lore, intrigued by his appearance but not in a bad way. "Skye told us a bit about you the last time she was here, but I want to hear all about you - from you. That is, if you don't mind."

He beckoned for everyone to step outside. "Come on, you don't want to wake Ulani from her sleep if you can help it - scarily enough, Aliya's almost the same."

Lore followed Elnara interested, because he didn't know what Skye had said, and knew Skye could be a very chatty person indeed. Though he could kind of see what Elnara meant by humour by Ulrich's comment about Ulani and their daughter.
