Liang flipped the sun card, tensing a little when he started to write on the clipboard. She hoped what he was writing was good, but she always had that little voice telling her otherwise. She mouthed a little eenie meenie, then flipped over another card. It wasn't a sun, but it was similar, a smiley face. She turned the two back over, then picked the sun again, turning over the one next to where the smiley face had been. That one was a sun, so she grinned and left the face up, looking to him for instruction.

Orpheus filled in the next few boxes as she flipped things over, then put an 'X' over the two matching cards, and finally added the appropriate amount of checks to the side, "Your doing very good! You already got a match." He praised her, and with only a few moves. Now to see if the cards she'd seen already stuck with her in her memory for when she found their matches.

Liang blushed red at the praise, then when to flip over a new card, one in the top left corner. It was the other smiley face, and she stared at it for a good ten seconds before remembering where the other was. She flipped the matching one over, cheering silently to herself that she had gotten another one.

"Excellent. Two pairs, that leaves only..." He paused to count the cards to check, "Only six pairs left to go. Your doing very good at this." He took down a couple more notes on the clipboard before waiting for her to continue.

Liang blushed pink, tapping her finger on the card she remembered as the blue square. She thought for a moment, debating between two on the first row. "Hmm," she mumbled, deciding for a logical approach. With a little bounced she turned over the leftmost remaining card on the top row, finding it was a bright red heart. Oops.

Orpheus filled in the heart on the 'map' of the game that he had made before giving her a smile, "Don't worry, your still doing well." He said to his student not wanting for her to get discouraged because she'd gotten one wrong. After all now she knew where the blue square and red heart were...
Man, was it just him or did playing this game make one hungry for Lucky Charms?

Liang nodded, flipping the cards back over. This time she selected the heart, hovering her hand over the center of the cards. That was the logical place for there to be another heart, right? She flipped it over, smiling brightly when she found that the other heart was indeed in the center. "This is fun," she told him timidly, "But um, what exactly am I learning?"

Orpheus flipped back to the first page of his notes to show her what he had written, "It was suggested to me by those higher up that we work on your skill of memory." He explained, "It would seem something in your DNA suggest that it could be more powerful in you then others. These games were the first idea that I had come to mind for a way for us to test your memory."
"Your doing above average thus far in how many tries you've take and how many pairs you have found." He lifted back up his clipboard and turned back to the page that had the map on it, writing down what cards she'd gotten paired up.
