Manny came around to the right side of her friend, reaching about for a few seconds before she extracted all three tickets, plus a little puff of lint. "Got em," she said, handing them over to the ticket taker. He tore the ends off and handed them back. Manny seemed to think for a second, then stuffed the ends back in Riley's pocket, giving a little laugh. "Okay, it's just a few doors down from here," she told them, attempting to lead the way so she could hold the door open.

Antony followed her lead, finding the drinks a little heavier than he had expected. "Have either of you seen this before?" he asked curiously.

The second time Manny slipped her hand into Riley's pocket the sparrow-girl giggled, since it tickled a little. But she had to stifle it pretty quickly, so as not to drop anything. Turning her head over her shoulder slightly to look at Antony she shook her head, "Nah, I haven't." She hadn't heard anything about it either. She trusted Manny in picking the movie though. "I hope it has some action in it, yeaaaah," she mused with a grin.

"I saw some of it, when I was really little, but I don't remember a whole lot," she admitted, "I kind of chose this one because Mama Estelle said everyone would like it." That was an opinion she trusted after all. When they reached the door to their auditorium she pulled it open and held it there, gesturing the others in. The main lights were already out, and the seats were lit up only by the blue lights in the aisles. Previews played on the screen, spaced apart by some silly celebrity trivia. Fortunately, the theater wasn't very crowded, so they had their choice of where to sit.

"Thank you," Antony said, inwardly irritated that he hadn't gotten it like any gentleman should. Any PRINCE should. "Where should we sit?"

Riley scuffled past Manny as she held the door, glad of the help. Sure, she would have tried to open it herself, no problem. But that didn't mean it would have worked. She hadn't been to a theater before, so she let her mouth open a little as she looked around. WOW! Look at all those seats! And the screen was HUGE! "Lets sit in the FRONT!" she proclaimed, completely fooled by the lure and illusion of the first row being the best. She didn't realize you had to crane your neck to see, or that you didn't see as much of the picture.

Manny turned to Antony and shrugged as she let the door close behind her. "I'll sit wherever you guys want. The front seems ok, but maybe a row in the back of that section, so we can put our feet up," she suggested. The movie was pretty long after all, and she knew that Riley at least had some trouble staying still for a long time.

"I'm fine with either," Antony said, having never been to a movie before in his life.

Well, once again Riley decided to trust Manny's good sense. Though she was a little sad to say good bye to the front row. "Alright, back it is! Who wants the middle? Middle gets to hold the food~" Which, obviously made her want the middle. But then, she wouldn't be able to eat much if she was holding everything, would she? Yep, Riley had very little methoid to her madness and it showed. At least to everyone but her.

"I'll take the middle seat," Manny offered, sensing a bit of tension between Riley and Antony. That would keep them both happy and it would let her be next to both of her friends. The previews were starting to wind down, and the movie would be starting soon. Manny shuffled through them to the back row of the first section, pushing down three seats near the middle.

He wasn't about to complain as he sat down, putting their drinks in both of Manny's cup holders so everyone could reach. "Do you think this movie has a prince in it?"

((Oh lordy, I just realized what an affect Prince Humperdink will have on the kid sweatdrop ))

Riley plopped into the last seat available, scattering bits of popcorn in the process. But she managed to keep the food intact otherwise. Amazing. She shifted so that Manny could take whatever snack she wanted to hold...or pass off something to Antony. "Well, it's got to have a princess at least," she said practically, "Being the Princess Bride and all." She didn't really connect that in being a bride there was probably a prince too.

(( XD Poor Antony...Humperdink is hardly a...good example for him to go by. ))

"Mmhm," Manny agreed, settling into her seat as she thought things out. "Ok, nachoes to Antony, you can hold the popcorn, and I've got the candy," she decided, reaching the tray from Riley for passing. "And I think there's a prince in it, maybe two. I just remember that a lot of it is really funny." She popped the box of gummis open, nearly spilling them all over the place in the process, and as the movie started she offered them from Riley to Antony, commenting in a whisper that, "The lime ones are the best."

Obediently, Antony took some of the lime ones, shoving them into his mouth as the story started. "But it's just a kid and an old guy," he whispered as it started. "Where's the princess?"

"I like the red ones better," Riley whispered, having to pause a moment before she remembered to keep her voice down. She watched the screen attentively, though her mouth was twisted slightly in confusion since, just like Antony, she didn't see how a sick kid and his grandfather related to something called the Princess Bride, "I dunno." But luckily the movie moved along quickly for the short attention spans they had. Not that it moved into anything more exciting right off...because it had mushy stuff first.
