"Baptized? And camping would prolly be a good idea with this one. I was facinated by the wilderness when I was younger, down to the point where I ran away for a month or more to go live in the woods on my own. I was a real feral little child."
He chuckled, and tugged back at Ranis's ears as he flicked his own around, making them harder to catch.

"Well, he's too young to go run off into the woods, but I hope he is able to enjoy himself. Keirro will just sit inside and read her books. You got any suggestions for a good place to camp?" asked Gary.
Ranis accepted the challenge and grabbed onto Silver's hand and tried to gnaw on the wolf's fingers. His long tail flicked back and forth against Silver playfully.

Silver just accepted the gnawing, thinking a moment. "Depends on what sort of conditions you want, and how far you want to travel, but I know quite a few places, though some of them are a bit of a hike, and so won't work with pipsqueek here."

Gary bit his lips in thought. Keirro been wanting to get some quiet time to herself while Ranis needed to get out of the house more.
"Um, I have a suggestion. It not much, but um..It would mean a lot to Keirro" Gary was never good with making requests. He was worried about the wolf' reaction, so he braced himself.

"I, Uh, Whut?" Silver blinked confusedly for a few moments, then settled back a moment to think about it. "Well, I wouldn't be against it, as long as Keirro was in agreement as well. I'd also have to pick up some supplies, as usually I camp with nothing but myself and a few little tools. But I wouldn't be against it...."

Yes! Gary wanted to jump for joy, but kept himself restrained.
"I'm sure you two could work things out. Besides, the baptisim isn't until another two weeks. That should be plenty of time for us to get our ducks in a row." replied Gary. Silver still scared him, but if Keirro and Ranis ttrusted him then he was probably a decent guy.
Ranis absent mindedly played with Silver's face. He pinched and streached the wolf's face while remaining oblivious to the plans being made for him. He never really payed attention to adult conversations. If it was important, it would eventually impact the boy and he would deal with it as it came.

Silver will give a little shrug, and then give Ranis a warning growl to let him know that he's going a little to far. "I'm sure it won't be too much a problem. I think my Da kept some camping gear around, I just got to find it." Silver's eyes will reflect a touch of sadness for a moment, though he'll shake it off quickly

Gary nodded. He thought about what supplies he had that could be useful.
"I have a first aid kit somewhere. Keirro never camped before in her life. She won't have anything useful." he said in thought.
Ranis got the message and left the Fa'e face alone. He was clearly bored and was showing signs of anxiety from being still for so long. He whined as a beetle crawled onto the table. After staring at the insect for a few minutes, the toddler licked his lips.

"I have a tent and a couple of carry packs, and bedrolls and such. Most of what i'll have to pick up is small things like fire wood, supplies, bug spray..." Silver will stop to think a moment, scratching his head. "Like I said, usually all I take is myself, a knife, and a hatchet, maybe some flint and steel. I rough it when I camp."

"Hmm, Is there anything I can pick up?" Gary offered. He scratched his chin while glancing at ranis. He felt a little uneasy about that beetle, but he never liked bugs to begin with.
With a loud crunching sound, Ranis ate the beetle in front of him without a second thought. It was like eating a raw shrimp with the shell still on. He contemplated the new addition to his diet while giving a small purr.

"Just anything you think tha Keirro or Ranis here may need. Warm clothing. Swim wear. Good shoes, as we will be walking a ways." Silver will look up at the sky, though he chuckles at the crunching sound. "Anyways, I should get going. Keirro has my number, so she can call me to finalize arrangements." Lifting Ranis, he patted him on the head and sat him down on his chair. "I got to run little guy. I'll see you Soon!" With that silver flipped up the hood again, and strolled down the street, turning into an alleyway about 2 blocks down and disappearing into the little back streets.
