i mean, we see a pro-life myspace group, roll our eyes at all the biased appeal to emotion bullshit, maybe send them some facts, and move along on our merry little way. no death threats, no harassment, none of that garbage. however, if a pro-lifer sees a pro-choice myspace group they flip s**t and tell the founder of the group to "go die", "go kill themselves", etc., etc.

the sad part about it all is that the pro-choice side can never be too careful about responding to the anti-choice harassment. you never know when one of those sick ******** is for real. neutral

I know it can be fun to laugh at hypocrisy and stupidity like that, but remember that people HAVE been murdered, harrassed, systematically ostracised from their families, friends, and even local businesses, and wounded in ways that will scar them the rest of their lives.

That being said, this woman was speaking out of fear, ignorance, and hate. You're better than that. She's lashing out because you're making an intelligent point, and she can't refute it.



I think I know why, now. That many messages for a Myspace page in a day seems way too high. I think you're being singled out for harassment. It seems like someone has complained to others and urged them to e-mail you, or may be using multiplee accounts. But I'm fairly certain someone is doing this intentionally to intimdate you.



That's not as scary as random strangers form the internet, but it's still alarming. It doesn't seem out-of-the-ordinary to me that local acquaintences would try to talk you out of your opinion. Sounds like something a pro-life group or church would encourage people to do.

However, what your friend's mother said to you is very frightening and you should probably report it.

Just make sure you are extra-careful about what is put on your page and what the settings are. I think there is a way to change it so that you approve comments before they are posted and such.



As much as I hate to say this because I love both your pages.... Yeah. I love that her page is so informative, because that does more than speak to the choir, it actually has the potential to teach people something and change their minds. That may be partly why they're trying so hard to shut her down.

But I like your page, too, and I don't think you need to change it! It's just good in a different way: It provides solidarity for pro-choice teens.

Seriously though, these people seem to think all Fetuses are the second coming of Jesus and actually fully developed and born human beings, well, screw them!

I would seriously call the police if some bitches were harassing me over the phone. Having threatening emails in my inbox is one thing because my email address can be changed but my phone number from local people and my friends' parents? I don't freaking think so.

You should seriously do something about that. Like some other people suggested, record the conversations.

Do your friends know that you're getting threats from their own parents?
