I was never a Sakura basher in the beginning well.. I don't know why? Maybe because I like her name? xD But i never thought of her as 'weak' and I really didn't get how people gets irritated when they see her face. I actually thought of her as someone who can grow throughout the series and stuff and it's true.
Sakura bashers/Hinata fans = OMFG.
Those people are in a whole new level of bashing Sakura, they compare Hinata and Sakura in all these ways, Hello!?
Hinata and Sakura is not the Same! They both have their OWN Skills and Specialty
Besides I keep hearing people say tht Sakura is WAY weaker than Hinata.. but um..Hinata gets the Upper hand of being in the Hyuuga Clan!!! >.<;;
I too am a Hinata fan but I start to dislike Hinata later on because well.. She has too many spotlights and alot of people likes her for all the stupid reasons like "She's so innocent..AWW... She's so cute... AWWW.... She likes Naruto-kun...AWWWW!" It's all "AWWW" Only a few of them likes her because of how she tries to live up to her name as a Hyuuga and SHE LIKES NARUTO BECAUSE SHE LIKES HOW BRAVE AND CONFIDENT HE IS! ( Also maybe because he's cute )

Oh my gosh, I agree.
It's like... You can't win with the Sakura-flamers. She's either too dumb, or too good. It frustrates me so much.

i just get so mad when people bad-mouth Sakura just because they think that she's so annoying and weak. i mean, Sakura was a little bit annoying at first but i've grown to like her. and there have been plenty of times in the anime where Sakura showed off her amazing skills. Sakura-haters should just give her a chance before making a decision.

Guys, thanks for responding to this thread. To tell you the truth, I also didn't like her at the beginning, but like Cherriko said, Masashi Kishimoto MEANT Sakura to be a person like that, THEN make her likeable to show him he's priginal and can do that kind of thing.
Where is this Mary-Sue test? I made original characters and I want to take it! TT^TT This is the one I use...

I never bashed Sakura in the beginning. I didn't really find her all that annoying either [contradictory to what I may have said in other threads... >>;].
But even though I accpeted Sakura's character, I didn't actually like it until the Chuunin Exams; the part where she cut off her hair and fought for her teammates.
Hinata was an alright character to me also. I'm still a Hinata fan, but I just stay away from the fandom tards. They're killjoys.
Seriously, they should just crawl in a hole and live there. >>;
