"Well your here. Still walking these lands... If I am any like you dear one. I would carry on the promise in whic I say. Forever.. I will blood seal and wouldn't say anything that I didn't mean." She looked aside. She wasn't annoyed of not being trusted nor did she care about being believed.

"I will let you decide if you wish to believe me. Or not. Though.. I suppose if you fade.. I would be the one to hold your sight so you would not be completely forgotten...." Her wings fluttered for a moment then laid to rest on her back as she approached the gates. She graced a few steps ahead to politely open and hold the gate for the other. It is as though it would take time... and time that she wished to use on such things. She leaned against the gate as her head bowed. Her tail flung over her leg as her hair took some flight with the passing breeze.

Dear one? Leinth thought, both amused and somewhat skeptical. She was not scornful, which surprised her. The fact that she was surprised was also a shock, which she made a note of. Apparently the universe still had new things in store for her, what was the point in being surprised about that?

There were things that this girl did not understand, Leinth knew that. But there were things that she herself did not understand as well, and remembering that made her loosen up a bit. Perhaps it would not be a bad idea to mingle with others once in a while. Others who did not cower in front of her, or run, or end up nuisances. This one, at least, did none of the above.

"We will see, Full Moon." She wasn't sure whether she believed or not yet, and would not pretend to sway either way until she knew for certain. In the meantime, she strode through the gates, looking straight at the female as she did. "My thanks. Tell me, do you have business here?"

When the other walked through. Behind her she went, with her tail wagging some with such the lingering surprise of the other. She could smell the differance.

"My brother works.. I mean. Rather. He lives here... with his family. I come to visit and clear my mind at times..graze the lands and help clean graves and plant flowers.." She slightly moved her hair away from her face to only have it flop forward again. The wind bringing up the cookiedough dirt smell.. and the smell of death slipping around them. Sayuri though wasn't phased. Her nose was sensitive but was rather immuned fromthick smell of cookie dough since she had gotten use to it since she was a pup. She gave a light smile to the other. It was rare to see her smile ever.

But. The sign of reassurance had to be there in her mind..

Having family who lived in the graveyard was odd, but Leinth was unfazed. She would have been more surprised had the girl not revealed some startling insight before. Even if there were things that she did not understand for whatever reason, she had a better grip on life than most. That had to come from somewhere, and now the mummy knew where.

She did not return the smile, but she did make a note of it. Instead, Leinth graced the stranger with an approving nod. "Unusual to see the living care so deeply for the dead. It almost makes one want to look at people differently... but then, there are so few who share your dedication."

The inside was just as she had left it. Dark and quiet, but familiar and comforting. Leinth had spent eons in the darkness, alone. While she could deal with others, with light, she preferred to get back to what she considered her roots. She had just never expected to have decent company while doing it. Her pads ran across the top of a gravestone, and she glanced at its front briefly. It was well cared for, something she took to heart. Someone else cared.

When she nodded. It felt nice.. but she knew if it kept on like this.. it was something she could handle. Her head held high she walked across, then around where the mummy took a closer look. She made some space between them.

"He probley cares more about the dead then live others. Our human worries though.. but she knows the dead deserves the same..I believe the same.." Her voice trailed and set herself in front of a grave.. leaning her paw over to slash the weeds away. "I think you could understand that.." Her paw carefully moved her hair away form her face. "Thats why I told you. You won't be forgotten.."

Surprised, Leinth turned, not wanting the other Numa to see her expression. Seeing that people still did care, even for those they had never known, touched her deeply. While she might not be remembered when she returned to her rest, she would be cared for. That had happened before... but for people to care for her without knowing her... that said to Leinth that something in the world had changed. For the better, it seemed.

"Thank you," she said, her voice almost catching in her throat. "On behalf of myself, and my brethren..." she gestured around her, indicating the graves. "Thank you. Things may be different than I had estimated." And she never would have known, if she didn't meet other people. That was something else to take into consideration.

She crawled herself on to one of the bright sakura trees, in which danced in the moonlight.

"My brother's vision... was to make this in to a hidden forest.. So each grave have its privacy.. his mate though is the one who cares much for the cleaning.. he makes the gravestones." Even if she thought this numa to be bad, giving her the trust she supposed was something to start.

She brushed off some minor cobwebs and lightly looked at the grave. With a calming and confident feel around her... Then with the moon the shine of her tail gave off the stars in her fur. A glissening look.

It wasn't that Leinth wasn't interested. She was, by the dedication that these people showed. But something was off. After thinking about it, she realized that this girl was speaking of the achievements and goals and feelings of others... but very little about herself. It was unnerving, to be with someone who seemed to be so reluctant to talk of her own beliefs.

"And you?" she asked, somewhat bluntly. "What is your take on all this?"

A bright layer of pink covered her cheeks, though she didn't notice or acknowledge it. "Hm... If I was allowed... " Her ears slicked back towards her head. How could she... she have a 'take on this'? She pondered if her 'thoughts ' even mattered... She flicked her tail to the side. Looking almost sadly now at the gravehead.

".... I believe..." She started. It was harder than she thought... her voice hung over her throat making it weigh more than she could imagen.

"I... I believe all the dead.. Just honored to be the one who can touch their graves.. to even help a little.. because.. I envy them." She traced her talon in the name which was engraved...

"And the ones.. who become ghosts.. and other.. I find that just another chance... given to them.. to live fully." All this.. came out of her... which she herself couldnt believe. She would have turned to search the eyes of the female she had been around but too tense now to even look the other in the eyes. Acceptance.. She shook her head. With her bright cheeks even though they may be black. Red burned in to them as wel as embaressment.

Allowed? Leinth's eyes widened in confusion. How could someone not be allowed to have an opinion. She was about to open her mouth- probably to give some sort of lecture about free will- when the female began speaking again. It was obviously hard, and Leinth didn't move, didn't even breathe, not wanting to scare her away.

When she'd finished, however, Leinth was frowning. It was not disapproving, but gentle and sad. "Do not envy the dead," she murmured. While she felt she was more dead than alive, that was hardly her choice. Starting to feel a chill at the tips of her pads, she moved over to the stranger and gently, hesitantly, placed a paw on her shoulder. "Not all of us are graced with second chances. The ones who are know that life is something to be treasured, something you should want to hold on to. You will have your chance at death later." Leinth paused a moment, her own mind starting to cloud, but she was almost done. "Live first. And enjoy it."

She stayed quiet and heard each word. Every word sunk in to her heart like heavy bowling balls to her heart. If she had one anyway.

She felt the paw and when the female ended... She put the pawn on the others. Softly... and not to scare the other or be meant in a disrespect to touch the other.

"..... Then... I hope you will sink your words in.. and you live life..and enjoy it. You deserve a second chance ... just as everyone else." Death later seemed far off but as far as she knew she wasn't that much alive either.. or well she couldn't be.. if she wasn't allowed the many things in life like opinions.. or thoughts. To feel. Though she supposed that this other female had been right. She should live life but she had so many chains what could she do.. but she promised to be live..

She stayed looking at the the grave. She felt if she turned around the female would disappear from her grasp.

For a moment, Leinth was triumphant. She had made an impact on the other, which was something she'd been trying to do for some time. She wasn't sure why. Perhaps it was a lingering desire to have an effect on the world, to leave something that would last beyond herself. Yesterday she would have laughed derisively at the futility of it. But today, things were different...

And then she froze, as the tables were turned. SHE was supposed to live? She'd already had her chance, and had it taken from her. She wasn't bitter about it, but she was, in her mind, realistic. Life was fragile, and what little she had left she would feel as well spending with the earth, rather than with other people who were too lively for her taste. They made her feel like she was still dead.

But this one... this one made Leinth feel like she was alive. Not by comparison, though the femme did seem to lack some of the vitality that more rowdy Numas posessed. It was something else, something strange... and it caught Leinth completely by surprise.

"Very well," she said slowly, softly, as if she wasn't aware that she was speaking. "I'll do my best... if you do yours."

She felt the sudden change of the other. She got scared for a moment that this was the moment that she was to get yelled at, but then the wind changed. And she felt calm again. Her ears slicked over her head. "Hm.. Thank you... I look forward to seeing.. you.." She felt her cheeks burn before saying.. "smile." Even just once. That would mean more to her.. that is what she liked about life at all. Seeing others smile but she would have to keep her vow to the other.

To live to the best she could but she knew about anything her life would bring. She hoped.. that it will make her better. Just by the words of this numa. She leaned against the side of the other. Just a little.

"I'll do my best for you." She closed her eyes sluking in this thought and in this feeling. She liked how it felt though even if it seemed a bit weird. She fought with many and to the point where she was in bed for a while. Hearing this numa felt like she could start over new. Maybe.. just maybe. She flickered her tail a bit. Hoping she was now allowed to walk beside her instead of lagging with so much distance but it seemed to her not a care.

Leinth turned, not wanting to face the stranger for the moment. She rarely felt apologetic, but for once she was wondering if she'd underestimated her companion. She was almost ready to say so when her thoughts were interrupted.

See her again? Well, after making a promise like that, Leinth supposed she would have to. But then the sentence finished, and she whirled back around. "Smile," she repeated flatly. Something so small meant so much to her? Something as insignificant as a smile? Or was it so trivial after all? After what she'd already seen, it was hard to be sure. "A smile... why?"

She sighed, rubbing the side of her nose a little. The last words were the most difficult for her to deal with. For someone to live as a way to repay another... she couldn't understand that. Nor could she bear it. Such a life would be painful, she knew. And if she had a way to put a stop to it, she would, even if the Numa was not as interesting as this one.

"Don't do it for me," she said firmly. "Do it for yourself. Only then will you truly be living." And as they had already established, that was the goal. For both of them.

She turned to the other with her eyes half lidded. Gving an elegant glow, outreaching from her eyes.

"Surprised I only asked for a smile hm?..." She remakred with herself smirking at this. She would keep it to herself why she wanted the other to smile or be gifted to see it. "A genuine smile..is all I ask from you." She couldn't answer fully the 'why' but she would hope.

"If it wasn't for you.. I wouldn't 'live' life... but if you wish me to live for myself, I would..." Her voice trailed as she changed her gaze up to the sky. "Hm.. though I would much rather live for you." She wagged her tail in that thought. A smirk came over her and she slowly put her loose paw over her maw. Wondering what would happen next.
