He just smiled, "Oh I know how annoying sisters can be, trust me, one day this horn of mine will go straight through my sister... one day. That won't be playing though and then I will have to run to the hills to stop mother from putting her horn in me but anyway... I need to teach you how to play." What kind of parents did she have? Seriously this girl needed to learn how to play, the fact that she didn't know how to was just a crime!
"What do you enjoy doing? There must be something that you like doing." He looked at her curiously before dropping to the ground and rolling, trying to dry himself off a little.
"I like being annoying, its really funny when others get mad. I met this really grumpy grey stallion, he was soooo boring and oh it was so much fun winding him up, its really amusing when they get mad." He chuckled remembering the chanting while running round in circles, oh it was so funny!

She frowned. "It's not that she's annoying, it's more like she's the real deal!" She forced to keep herself from crying. She was the younger of the two sisters, and wasn't particularly fond of being a chew toy. At Meshach's words, however, she gave him a shocked look. "You'd want to kill your sister?" she intoned, very surprised.
"But... but! Do you plan to eat her up or something afterwards?" Blackfire's curiosity piqued; she didn't know there were other kinds of Soquili out there who also ate meat besides the Kalona. "Teach me how to play?" she repeated, confusion in her tone. "But isn't playing what you were doing? Laughing at me?" she mumbled, looking at him sourly.
"Why is it funny when others get mad? Don't you think it hurts them?" she asked, wondering why Meshach liked being so weird. "Though that does sound really funny!" She couldn't help but imagine what that had been like, but she was sure it had been really silly. Although, acting like a goody-two-shoes wasn't really helping her at the moment.

"Kill her, oh I wish unfortunately I would probably be murdered by my mother and no I wouldn't eat her, she would be the worst tasting thing in the world!" He was almost certain about that, all girls had to taste yucky but his sister was super yucky.
"Playing yeah that was playing but if you don't take it so seriously and realise most things said to others is normally a joke and they don't mean it then you see that it is funny. You can insult others all day long and not mean it! Like I call you ugly, you call me stupid, if its joking then you can do that splash each other and do other stuff while laughing. Its great fun! I like scaring others too its so amusing!" He then tilted his head slightly as she said about the others getting hurt.
"If they get hurt it is their own fault, should realise that foals will be silly and have fun, its what foals are suppose to do! Father tells me that all the time and yeah it was really funny!" He chuckled a little, "You have to lighten up and not take things so seriously and just don't care, then you can have loads of fun!"

"My Daddy does that all the time though," Blackfire said, cheerfully enough. "He goes and kills all these rabbits and then he eats them! He says they're tasty," she nodded, finally getting a little used to Meshach. "That's kind of mean to say, since you look like chocolate," she commented. "I bet you taste just as nasty, though, cuz you're a boy!" she accused, grinning.
"Oh, so that's what playing is?" She didn't think it was, but now she thought about it, Meshach really hadn't meant any harm and well, she could use some fun in her life! It was better than being chased around by Hinode all day anyway! Her sister was so weird, but at least she wasn't threatening to kill her... yet. Blackfire could only hope she was still alive after one of their little fights.
"You like to scare others? I don't! It's just weird--making someone angry is one thing, but scaring them? It only works on those stupid guys who don't pay attention," she pouted. "How can it be their own fault if they get hurt?" she asked, and then sighed. There was no reasoning with Meshach, not that she knew any better herself. Suddenly, thinking she could pay him back, she dashed towards the water, making a wave big enough to splash the little unicorn. "Ha! Take that!"
She grinned, not quite laughing just yet. "Lighten up? But I'm dark as the night sky!" she looked at her black fur. "Well, we're both foals, right? I guess we can play a while!" she said happily, letting loose a light laugh at the totally wet Meshach.

"Well its their own fault for taking it seriously, if they didn't they wouldn't get hurt!" He ignored her first statement because he thought eating rabbits wasn't going to be very nice and chocolate, whats that? He didn't know so ignored it.
Then he got splashed and he laughed before jumping back into the water, his tail at the ready to try and splash her back. She was laughing and playing and that was a start but of course he had to take things easy for her, after all she was a girl and everyone knows how slow and stupid girls are!

"Yeah, well, sometimes some things have to be taken seriously!" she taunted. "But since you're a boy, I guess it doesn't really matter, because you guys never take anything seriously!" She laughed again, trying to get away before she got splashed again, though her wings were beginning to drag her down and made it much harder for her to move quicker.
She laughed again, a little mockingly. "I don't know why you like this playing thing so much, Meshach; I mean, if you wanna go kill your sister, shouldn't you be trying to kill her instead of playing?" She stopped trying to swim away, and turned back to face the other foal. "But it's a lot of fun, so I can see why you wouldn't wanna miss out!"

Meshach laughed. "Killing her would mean being near her which is a bad thing so its better to play and then if she ever finds me then I could kill her, works better that way." He was kind of shouting over all the splashing, it seemed like he was getting through to this girl. He knew there must be someway to save the female species from being the thickest on the planet, then again maybe not. They were girls after all!

"Being near her? But you're near her all the time cuz she's your sister, 'specially if you have to go home and be with your mommy and daddy!" she shouted back, before another wave of water hit her. Shaking her head and eyes free of the liquid, laughter burst from her mouth. She felt tickled, but didn't know why. This was much better than exploring, she decided, much better! "Hey, Meshach... look out!" she called in alarm. There was something come up behind him and it didn't look too friendly.

Meshach laughed, "I avoid her when I can!" He looked at her for a while trying to work out whether or not she was trying to divert his attention but just in case he jumped from the water.
"What?" He turned around to look, shaking his head to help it start drying a little.

Behind both foals, Blackfire had spotted a giant-sized bear slowly creeping up behind Meshach, and had shouted alarm. Obviously seeing that it was caught, the bear only licked its mouth, grinning widely, showing its sharp, predator teeth. Blackfire shivered. She could feel the danger, and despite living with a Kalona, she was still only a foal, and did not know how to take care of herself in such a tense situation. The bear looked very hungry, and two little foals would be a mere snack.
"Avoiding her might not be a problem if we're eaten!" she practically shrieked. She was terrified. "Meshach, maybe you should start running!" she warned, and attempted to dry her wings so that she could escape by air. She was terrified, but not so scared she froze... that is, of course, until the bear growled, and she did freeze. In her tracks. She stared at the bear, eyes wide with pure fright.
And then she whimpered.

Meshach wouldn't run untill she did, he might be annoying but he knew when to stick by someone.
"MOVE!" He shouted as she seemed to freeze. Meshach didn't and instead he moved very slowly towards Blackfire, lowered his head and rammed her side.
"RUN!" He shouted watching the bear carefully it was about to move, he was certain of it. If she didn't move soon she would have his horn up her backside!

Blackfire was shaken out of her frozen moment when Meshach suddenly rammed her on the side. Quivering, she made to run, and then she turned around and looked at Meshach. "Wait! What about you!?" she demanded, almost desperately.
She wanted to run, to flee; to escape so badly! If she could dry her wings she could probably fly off, but Meshach didn't have that kind of escape route. Meshach was certainly growing on her, and her sense of duty told her she couldn't just leave him there.
The bear was getting ever closer; it ambled in almost an arrogant way, as if saying that they wouldn't escape. She shrunk back behind Meshach, wanting to run but not without Meshach. "I won't leave until you come with me!" she told him, terror in her voice.

"Just go I will follow you! You don't move I swear I will stab you harder!" He lowered his head to threaten to stab her when he heard the bear move again and started running, turning to make sure she was following. If she didn't he would have to do some stupid heroic thing of saving the damsel in distress though he couldn't really take on a bear, his horn could heal it into a sleep? Well he would try if need be.
"Come on!!!"

When Meshach took off, she mentally screamed at her legs to move it, and off she went, right after the dark little unicorn, trying to look back. She could hear barely hear the pounding of the bear's paws compared to the pounding of her heart. She was also trying to hold in screaming, wanting to save her breath to run rather than act like a nitwit.
She saw a shadow right behind her. Uh oh.

Meshach slowed so he was behind her, then he could keep ramming her if need be.
"Go through the tree's and head down to the beach, it won't go there. Keep running or my horn will be poking you really hard!" He was panting as he spoke but he managed to get it out, he could see the shadow looming behind them but he knew it wouldn't like open spaces, he heard someone say something before and the beach wasn't too far.
