Faolen imitated her movement and raised his own eyebrow up at her. He had absolutely no clue what the point of it was but if she could give him that look then he could give her the same one. Stretching a bit and wiggling his rump back and forth, Faolen just continued to watch her.

… And then she had begun to rant. His eyes widened as the mare simply raged at the rain drops. It certainly wasn’t all that attractive to see but it was better than watching someone be fake and… and… well he wasn’t overly sure what to think since her continual talking walk keeping his mind for focusing completely. Usually he was able to listen and learn from others speech. She just made his mind feel… irritation?

“Well… If you decided that fer yerself then doesna that mean tha’ someone can decide it wasn’t true?” His teal eyes continued to stare up at her owlishly and pondered over his own words until finally she started talkinga bout. “I’ve a way ter go?” What sort of measurement was that? He wanted numbers! Statistics! Facts! Not something vague that really didn’t tell him anything about himself in the end. “So if yer goin’ ter say yer maybe 90% then I might be around 70% ‘r so.” The numbers worked out well for him, he’d probably not care if she wanted to fuss at him and change them around.

Tiffany flicked her long tail up high, letting it settle down on the ground again. She hated leaving it sitting there for so long, otherwise it would lose it's air and bounce. That would be a TRULY tragic thing to happen! Plus, she knew the shiny tail looked good when it whipped from the base to the tip, catching light in every way.

She took a deep, mournful sigh at how difficult this colt was beginning to be. She noticed he was copying her and all, as well as asking her all these annoying questions! Why did he have to QUESTION her answers? Didn't he see that what she said should simply be taken as the correct answer?

She looked down at him. "No. I'm right. There can only be one right answer. And it is mine" she said matter-of-factly. The mare rolled her eyes. It wasn't a hard thing to to grasp, that she was always right. But he seemed to not get it. She grew a bit ridged when he mentioned HIS take on the stupid little 'statistics'.

"No. No. Completely wrong. Completely off. Just pulling some STUPID numbers out of her head?" she shook her own head. "It would be much different if I told you the RIGHT answer" she paused, thinking. "Well, I am 100% perfect. And you would probably be like... 57%" she said, deciding he was a bit more then halfway perfect, but probably not quite 60% yet.

Faolen kind of liked the weird mare. He probably liked her because even though she focused too much energy on her looks for him at least she had some focus unlike a lot of others he’d met. Not that he liked her too much.. Just didn’t hate.

… If the mare was every bit as perfect as she claimed to be then answering questions would probably make her happy and he’d only be too happy to keep thinking of ones for her to reply too. Little did he know that she was nearly at a wits end with him. Made life seem so much more fun.

“Ahh, but isna it true tha’ if ye do a math problem or something ye kin get two different answers an’ neither is wrong?” Perfection, beauty, happiness, and hell were all in the eye of the beholder to him. His parents had taught him right from wrong and also that the world of grey very much exhisted. Didn’t she know that?

Now she was wrong? One ear pinned and he listened half-heartedly. Going from maybe liking her to having an ear pinned at her. Faolen snorted in mild irritation and continued to listen. “I’m only gettin’ a 57%?” That didn’t seem right to him. Lowering his head to innocently lip at a couple blades of grass Faolen lifted wide soulful teal eyes… Being a failure wasn’t acceptable.

Tiffany gave another sigh, and grimaced. Why must this foal continue. Why! It was like torture practically, listening to him second guess all she said with his barely months old wisdom. Probably from some stupid parents that didn't know how to properly raise a foal.

Tiffany shook her head. "No. Completely untrue. Who told you such things? Math is simple. One plus one will ALWAYS be two!" she said. How stupid was this foal. "What else could it possibly be? Certainly nothing else! Thats the thing about math: Only one answer!"

She practically groaned when he questioned her carefully thought out statistics. "Maybe 65%, tops." she said, giving the colt a little slack. Maybe he would grow out of the whole, being so annoying thing.

She hoped he would, at least. Then again, she had met a stallion that asked a lot of questions. But his weren't contradicting hers, it was to try to dive deeper. That was a completely different story, though.

One eyebrow twitched up lazily as the mare hemmed and hawed around with answers and stuff. He didn’t have all day yanno! Grinning a bit wickedly, Faolen’s mind began to wander to all the things that mares didn’t like and the potential fun he could have with her.

“Why must it always be that way?” His father had said that and explained that the world was black, white, and grey. He didn’t take to kindly to someone speaking badly of his father even if it was veiled and didn’t really have any direct insults to it.

Faolen weighed the options he had. Before he had definitely had a failing grade and now he had an almost passing one. Shrugging his shoulders almost dismissively he decided to concede to her at least for now.

Blinking owlishly again up at her, Faolen ventured. “The older I get the more perfect I’ll become, aye? But after awhile willna the perfection begin to fade?” After all, age wasn’t exactly a beautiful thing to some people.

Tiffany looked down at the colt. He didn't seem to be listening to her. How dare him! Did he UNDERSTAND what wonderful advice she was giving him? What stuff he could use for the rest of his life? This was advice that he was lucky...PRIVILEGED to hear!

"Because...because...because I SAID so. And I am ALWAYS right!" she said, almost on her wits end. If this little colt questioned her one more time, she might snap. Being pleasant to someone who didn't deserve it was HARD work! She might be straining herself. What if this caused a LINE? She would NEVER let this colt live it down!

"For some, perfection stops at an age. Not me, of course. I will be eternally perfect" said Tiffany. She was never one to look into the future. And for the most part, she was fine with that. "There is an age where you pique at perfection. After that you start going down. Which is only, again, if you aren't me. Which you aren't" she said.

Faolen gave the mare another bored look and tried to keep his interest focused on her. She didn’t mean to bore him, he was sure of that but heck. It wasn’t his fault that she wasn’t all that interesting when the only thing on her mind was being perfect.

“Whatever ye say. It doesna seem ter be worth me time.” If she could be snooty to him than the colt would use what little bit of burn her possessed to let her know he wasn’t really all the impressed. Of course, in his innocence he didn’t dislike her.. Just simply didn’t feel the need to suck up to her or try to learn more about her and stuff.

… Waitaminute. She thought that she was immortal? Wow… his eyes widened a bit and Faolen nearly giggled. He’d age like a warrior, bare the scars that life brought to him with pride and all things fitting of him. His chest swelled up a bit and his gaze became a bit more brave. “Oh? I’d like ter know who tol’ ye that rubbish.”

Tiffany's eyes bulged from their sockets. WHAT did he just say? Did he just...question her? Blatantly say that her advice was worthless? How...ignorant! How...rude! What a...a stupid, dirty, horrible colt this thing was!

"Well. Do you really think I want to spend MY relaxation time answering the annoying questions of some stupid twerp that can't keep his mouth shut? Do you think this is fun for ME?" she snapped, only feeling vaguely guilty that she had just said such things to a young foal that didn't know any better. But still, did he have no control?

"I decided such things. This is the best advice you will ever get in your life, so listen. Listen well. YOU decide what you want to be. I woke up when I was a foal and decided I was perfect, and would act such and work for it. And I was. But you clearly woke up and decide you didn't care. You decided that you could be rude and rowdy, and that will get you know where. With no drive, you might as well be useless." she said, completely flustered.

The white mare turned around. and began to walk away, swishing her tail indigently. A few light raindrops began to fall, and she broke into a canter.
