I read it, thought it was really good and introduced it to my younger sister. It's her favorite now. She's even in three guilds for it.

I read the Percy Jackson series after seeing the movie. They were pretty fun to read, but I don't feel the need to own them. However, I liked The Red Pyramid much better and I feel that is due largely in part because I find Egyptian mythology more intriguing than that of the Greeks. I can't wait for more of the Kane Chronicles to be released.

i only read the first four books. i spent too much time waiting and never got around to re-reading them to finish the series.
however, i can say that i saw the movie and was pretty disappointed. the books were epic; i friggen loved them! but the movie was just sorta so-so.
