 "Of course not. Why would we think you were disgusting? I think Kain-Nigel fits perfectly," Eri said cheerfully. Pyper nodded. "Does your appearence bother you?" she questioned in curiousity. It was nothing new to her. She'd seen creatures similar to him that weren't even Heralds. "Well it doesn't bother us. Heh, otherwise the name Kain wouldn't have been suggested," she continued, this time giving a genuine smile. It seemed Kain-Nigel wasn't meaning to be a little haughty toward her on purpose. It was more like he didn't trust people. But Pyper wouldn't ask about it now. It wasn't the time. "I hope Bethan likes the name too. Oh! That reminds me. You asked about Shino-chan's Herald friend." She looked a little embarrassed that both she and Pyper had over-looked the question. Though it was important that Kain have a name first! Or trying to hold a conversation would be weird. "His name is Locke. He's a sweetheart. He mostly likes to sleep, and play with Shino's toys. He seems to especially like puppets. And violin music. It might have something to do with what Shino sacrificed." Pyper nodded and took another swig of her drink. "Yes, you're correct. She told me, she gave him her favorite marionette. The woman with the violin. She had shown us it before. She was very happy that she could give it to Locke to help him live. She plays her violin for him all the time. She even gives us little concerts sometimes too," Pyper explained. "In fact she's due to come visit us again soon. She'll probably bring Locke too. He likes snoozing on the deck out here," she chuckled.

Kain looked a little stirred at this question. It was true, everyone he'd known from the past hated him for his appearence, except recently. What if they were lying though, just like the rest. He had heard the comments behind his back 'mommy, i thought the cirus went away...clowns are scary', 'don't mind that freak, he can't even find his feet'....'i hate you, you monster! You tricked me! Get out of sight!' the last one hurt more than anything. It was from childhood. Just when the differences came in....
"I -I, don't know, its been years now, although it feels like a curse"
he mumbled just loud enough for pyper to hear correctly. He sat down in front of the girls Tamuril mirroring his moves. Well as far as he was conserned it was sitting. The mist cushsioned him some of it twirls around his waist, he put his hands in his lap.
"Thanks" he said putting his head down.
He continued to listen and try and sense the sence for vibrations but his neck was starting to hurt now.
"For my name....and being kind i guess" he explained. Kain Nigel....sounded pretty, sounded different though. No-one else had such a wierd name, it made him feel special.
Tamuril watched Kain closly now starting to get a little worried by the way he was acting. He seemed to just accept everything, maybe she could teach him something....no that was for Bethan. She had almost forgotten about it, well she had a few hours yet but she would have to think of an excuse of why she didn't bring the shopping home....maybe she could order it online later that day. Bethan wouldn't know a thing but it felt bad to lie to her again. Either way she wanted to help Kain out now, since that was what was troubling her. "So, can we see Locke please?" she asked politely as possible hoping to get Kains attension, just to be certain she continued "I think it might help our problem, what do you Kain Nigel?" she smiled.

Pyper smiled sweetly, as a little blue bird glided down and landed on her finger. From it's little perch it tweeted and gazed at the group. "Well I'm pretty sure.....in fact... I'd say she's on her way here right now," Pyper grinned, turning to the others. Perhaps it was just luck on Tam's part? Perhaps not. But Shino had promised earlier that day to come over after lunch to play since she loved the open air of the shrine. And there was a very good chance that she'd bring Locke with her, as they were practically inseperable. Eri grinned. "Oh yes? That's right. Today's X Day of the week. And she called didn't she? It'd be perfect timing. Mr. Birdie there must know. Perhaps he saw them on the road," the girl replied, reaching out to stroke the birds feather chest. It seemed the surrounding wildlife around the place was very friendly. ~~~~~~   From further down the road, Shino was stepping out of an old car. Her dark hair blew in the breeze, as she helped a pale, almost ghostly, figure out of the vehicle behind her. It was Locke. Dressed in a simple white robe (more like summer dress), he clutched onto a violin case, that probably belonged to Shino. His bright blue-gray eyes lit up as he gazed around. He was always so happy to be here. Shino adjusted the hem of her pink dress, that looked very similar to Locke's only a little girlier with frills, and slammed the door shut. "Let's go Lockesy," Shino said happily, taking the boy's hand and leading him down the road. They would soon reach their destination. ((I didn't know if u wanted them to show up or not. Otherwise I can always change it. xD Whatever you wanna do! And whenever we end this one maybe Shino wants to invite Beth, Tam, and Kain over. xD idk <3 RP'n with u is fun^^ ))

Kain watched the bird intently deciding weather it was Pyper or the birs itself that had some ability to communicate so well, but that thought was soon lost as he listening the birds voice. It wasn't often that he got to hear it so well, few animals got on with me but he loved here company. He drifted up onto his feet and stopped just in front of the girls seeming very much to zone out. He purposly ignored Tamuril deciding if he knew the answer it would be simply if not then he couldn't answer anyway. Kain sighed happily coming back to reality. "Sorry but did i hear another voice?"
Tamuril looked out to the entrance seeing what she thought to be car pull up. "Shino, found a family at last....i think your right anyway, shall we go greet them?" Tamuril asked already moving over towards the figres. Kain seemed different here to home, but you could tell he was settling except she wasn't sure she wanted him to settle here of all places. Kain and Bethan could get alone and then maybe, no that was too much to expect of them both.

"Yeah, there she is! Let's meet her half-way then, okies?" Eri replied, standing up and hop-gliding off the front porch with her little wings. She motioned with her hand for the others to follow along. Pyper silently agreed. As she got up, she realized her kimono was hanging loosely off of her. She quickly adjusted it in embarassment, though she had nothing to hide, for she was very good-looking. The little bird chirped in amusement as flew over and perched on Nigel's head. Pyper simply rolled her eyes at the bird, and quickly moved after Eri. "This way, heh."Up ahead, Shino could see four figures. The closer she and Locke got, the clearer the figures became. She called out excitedly, "Pyper! Eri! Oh my gosh, and Tam's here too!!! How cool! And what are the chances of that? Look Locke, you'll get to meet Tamuril. I told you about her remember?"Locke nodded, but it seemed his attention was on Kaine-Nigel. He smiled excitedly, and clutched the violin case in anticipation as he walked delicately down the path.

Kain studied the other herald making note of the angelic features."Hello there, young one" he said now more aware of his features than before. He kept comparing himself to others it was starting to become more of a habbit than it was before. All this socializing was no good but if he didn't he might be out of friends and well the ones he had were few and he needed now. He decided to wait for the two others to join them instead of the other way around, afterall they were nothing to do with him - at least for now. Kain's attension was then suddenly brought over to Shino, the girl they had been speaking of before. She seemed so young to be a guardian, but maybe it wasn't based on age....maybe it was something else, after all his old guardian hadn't been very good and well she was of the right age. Hearing all those names he felt a little left out, since he had only just got a name he was keen to hear it used without saying it himself but he guessed that no-one was interested in his opinions just the arrival of there friends.
"Shinooo! Great to see you!" Tamuril called out delightfully forgetting the current situation. It had been so long since she had seen the little mouse girl. All her memories of her were fond. They hadn't had a bad time yet. Maybe she was just lucky. That would make perfect sense. "and im guessing thats Locke you've got following you!" she added smiling fondly.

Shino nodded. "Yes, this is Locke. After the storm when the Heralds went mis-when it was over-I met Locke near that strange, angelic statue that appeared outside the Church I used to stay in," the little girl replied. Her mouse ears twitched in happy curiousity as she walked a little closer to Kain-Nigel. She'd never seen a Herlad like him before. He was so .....pretty? Was pretty the word she was looking for? Well it didn't matter, she decided she liked him right off the bat. She turned to Locke who also was smiling ear to ear-apparently he had decided the same thing as Shino, and he hadn't even met another Herald before.
So the group of friends spent the rest of the afternoon together, talking and 'playing' more or less. The roof was eventually fixed when the worked together. Even Locke was eager to help with that, despite his young age.
