....I must be the only person in the world that thinks the books read like fanfiction. It's a cool concept but her writing style [and certain plot choices] really don't jive for me. I guess I should be grateful that someone can get kids to read these days.
But critics need to stop comparing to Lord of the Rings, for serious.

Personally, I think that this last HP book was the best one. I could not stop crying after... all of those people (trying so hard not to spoil anything) died. I was expected more for the last chapter, though. I really hope Rowling (or someone else) tries to come up with another series from the Harry Potter books...

I love Harry Potter. My favorite character is Remus, then Sirius, then Gred and Forge. I like the movies too and I can't wait for the next two to come out.

I outgrew Harry Potter a long time ago, but I decided to finish the series anyway because I just can't stop like that. XD But eck... the last book was a disappointment, to put it kindly. I was really expecting more of J.K. Rowling, not that she'd put such a cliche ending like that. gonk Talk about a bummer...

I'm not really interested in Harry Potter, but I've read and seen a bit of it. I'd say from what I know, I like Hermione best. xd

Actually, the part about why Snape did "insert spoiler here", I saw that happened from, like, book 3 already, I'm just glad everything got explained to us cuz her cryptic msgs were giving me a headache

Zahari Well, personally, I think it was a dreadful way to end the series. Honestly.
Voldemort essentially kills himself? Seriously? All Snape's behavior is explained by unrequited love? Stupid. Stupid Stupid. AND HOW COULD SHE KILL ONE OF THE TWINS? What the hell is wrong with that woman? Those two are the only weasleys worth anything. Also, killing the owl? Could you be anymore completely arbitrary? And how could Ginny not protest naming her child Albus Severus? I would never allow that to happen, it's a terrible name.
I share your horrified-ness at the end, and so does one of my friends. I don't like that name all too well, either. Snape spoiled it for meh.

Your rant is interesting. I cried about the Twin. My favorite one too.
I hated who she chose to die. It was the people I grew the most attatched to.
