Atae's tails actually wagged slightly at the accepted invitation. "Okay then... It's over this way." She stood up, checked to make sure there weren't any grass residents in her fur - bugs still creeped her out, especially if they were crawling on her - and led the way.
After 10 minutes or so of trecking through some trees the house loomed into view in a clearing. There's wasn't much to be impressed about it aside from the size... two stories, a large attic, and though it couldn't be seen a basement, and there was probably room enough for at least 7 decent size bedrooms on the top floor. Atae'd never really been told the hows or whys of its construction... but it was a decent place to live, and cool in the summer heat.
"There's a pool in the back... behind that big wooden fence." Atae mentioned offhandedly as she opened the door apprehensively to peek inside. It was... quiet. For a moment she was even more apprehensive until she saw Kitsyn walk out of the kitchen. "Oh... I brought over some... friends. Is that ok?"
Kitsyn lifted an eyebrow. "Since when do I mind if you have friends over? And good timing... Ifrit and Seer just took the kids out, I think they plan to be gone all afternoon." She padded closer to the door, wondering why Atae was so nervous when the little belted femme stepped inside the door and motioned for the two behind her to follow. The male... could only be Terasu. She'd heard him described enough. And the other femme?... Well she'd never seen any of Envy's kits, or even Envy himself, but she knew the look all the same. "Hm. Well. Terasu and... what's your name? You guys want some juice or something?" She pointed back around her shoulder with a paw toward the kitchen. Atae had some interesting friends. Acquaintances probably in Charity's case. But Kitsyn was friends with Xigbar... and Atae had good judgement. At least, she had so far.

A nod before he stood, stretching for the walk. He nudged at Charity's shoulder to get off her lazy bum until she complied. With a grin, they made way to Atae's home.
Tails twisted calmly as he walked beside Charity and behind Atae, finding the situation almost funny. Like a team of misfits going to chill out after many conflicts. His maw lifted in a small smile as they continued the short walk. The home soon came into view, and Terasu was almost reminded of Lily's place. Not by appearance, just by the fact that they actually lived in structural buildings. And the mention of a pool was a nice bonus.
He stood patiently as Atae peeked in, moving forward when they were allowed so. A voice inside made his head turn, finding a roommate of sorts welcoming them in with beverage options. "Um, hi. Do I know you?" Perhaps just by name. He glanced over to Charity, making sure she was inside before shutting the door. She wasn't the only one out of place entering another's house.

With the nudge, Charity pushed herself to her paws and stretched languidly before dutifully following after Atae at her mate's side. She felt content, walking alongside the feathered male... as if this is where she belonged. She had and still was, experiencing all sorts of new feelings since she had first met Terasu.
When they arrived, Charity was looking up at the building with a measure of interest as she had never seen a human built structure other than the Realm HQ, and she hadn't even been there very often. She had grown up in the hollow of a tree. She half listened as Atae mentioned a pool, and walked inside after her... head turning this way and that as she looked around.
"Charity" was the answer she gave to Kitsyn, neither friendly nor unfriendly. The offer of being given something to drink though as met with a blink, "Uh... sure?" She really didn't know how to act to such hospitality. After all... kitsu that new her father often met her with hostility, and she hadn't been very social with most other Kitsusagi.

The room itself was a sort of front/living room area. There were a couple of tables, one of which was a coffee table, a couch, and an assortment of chairs scattered around; mostly the large beanbag variety, those being more flexible and easy to manipulate to one's personal comfort than the chairs with the wooden frames.
Atae herself went over to flop on one of the beanbags, the telltale soft sigh of air and the little plastic beads sliding over one another sounding when she landed. "How about some fruit punch, Kitsyn? And... thanks." Then she waved the other two over. "Pull up a bag, if you want. They're comfy." It was also cooler inside than out, perhaps a bit on the too-cool side even, but not bad.
Kitsyn waved them over too. "Yeah, go ahead and make yourselves at home. As long as it doesn't involve remodeling." She trotted into the kitchen and came back with three bowls and a jug of punch, which she placed between the three "kids". She gave Charity and Terasu both quick scrutinizing look and then spoke. "Don't make any trouble that doesn't come looking for you while you're in my house and we're cool. I make it a rule not to turn anyone out that hasn't given me a reason to, but if you go starting any real trouble I'll kick you out myself if I have to. Shapeshifting or no." That last bit was added for Charity's benefit. "Playful pranks, teasing, and the occasional not-playful jibe are allowed. And play-fights and sparring. Kinda hard to stop Ifrit and the boys from that. And if anyone gives you any serious grief, tell me and let me deal with it unless it was done off my property. In such case as that, you are free to kick a** as you see fit." She then gave Charity a little bow. "No offence, kiddo. Just laying down the ground rules just incase you're ever over when someone less tolerant of your parentage is around. I can't control what you do when you're not at my home, and frankly I wouldn't want to, but there are certain things I don't want occuring here. Other than that..." She shrugged. "Back door's open if you guys want to use the pool. I'm gonna go take a nap while I actually have the freedom to sleep." Those kids... augh. Soot and Damerion were ok, but the triplettes, Bryna, and Shoom? They were good at making people want to faceplant into a wall.

Well, this place was much more cozy than the kitsusagi HQ. Tables set about everywhere, shown to be actually used unlike the bland ones in HQ. And the varieties of chairs! Terasu immediately felt himself drawn to the round ones much like giant pillows.
He nodded at the idea of fruit punch to Kitsyn gratefully, before turning to Charity. How was she taking to the new environment? He could sense her feelings of displacement, and pawed kindly at her nose. A grin was tossed to her before he dashed to a beanbag and flopped onto the odd chair. He left enough space beside him, wagging tails inviting Charity to land on the same furniture.
The one named Kitsyn soon returmed with drinks, and Terasu gave a "Thank you" before taking a taste. Ears moved back at the lecture of behaving, as if he was at school being scolded by a teacher. He...could understand the caution such warnings may have originated from. He chuckled at the kick a** part, before hushing himself once he realized he laughed aloud. Still, they weren't children. And it seemed like there was no one present to bring them grief. Besides....
Terasu grinned and ruffed Charity's hair. "I'll keep her tolerable for you guys." Sure he may get nipped and scratched, but he was likely the only one to do so without getting slaughtered.

She did feel rather out of place, but tried not to let it show too much. Watching as Terasu lept onto one of the beanbags, she stepped near at his invitation to join him. The green haired kitsu reaching out a paw to test the durability of the chair, brows raising as her paw sank into it. However, Terasu looked comfortable, so Charity slowly climbed into it and settled down. Hm.. not bad.
However, Kitsyn's lecture got her attention and she flicked her tails with a bit of aggravation at being told to behave. She got that a lot.. but well... it was still annoying, despite the 'no offense' part. A grunt was just issued in reply, and then her haif was ruffled. A muted glare was given to Terasu, before she wordlessly leaned against him.
She would behave as long as her buttons weren't pushed, and well... even thought she didn't admit it.. Terasu probably could keep her in line so long as someone didn't outright attack her. Sorry.. but if that happens, she wasn't about to take the blow and then go tattle on them to Kitsyn.

Atae wanted to bury her head in the beanbag at Kitsyn's lecture. And she doubted Kitsyn actually expected Charity to sit back if someone attacked her... she also doubted Kitsyn actually thought someone would attack another person in her home before she had a chance to intervene, but it was always possible. Mostly... Atae just thought the whole situation was embarrassing and turned beet red by the time Kitsyn walked off. "I wish... she was less blunt sometimes..."
Kitsyn had exited the room though, so she turned her head to stick her tongue out at the retreating femme before turning back to the others. "Anyway... now that class is over... Uh, you guys wanna go out to the pool after we have some punch?"

Oh no, no. Should someone dare think of attacking Charity, that was their own troublesome self getting into danger. As to everything else....depended on how irritable the situation was.
Terasu grinned to Atae, understanding her embarrassment at such chastising. Who would enjoy inviting others only to have someone state the rules so "bluntly"? Oh well, just shrug it off....or stick your tongue out. His posture tilted at the weight on his side, and he smirked to himself at the quiet presence. He was still adjusting to the new reality of this relationship, and he couldn't be more pleased at their agreeable progress. White tails flitted near the ends of her green ones at the edge of the beanbag.
"Pool? That sounds good." He moved down to finish his fruit punch, pausing to take notice of the liquid's color. Ah, a faint red...almost pink. A brow raised to Charity at the familiar hue before continuing his drink. Gotta love irony.

"Don't worry about it... I get that... a lot" Charity said to Atae with a slight edge to her voice. However, it was hardly the belted teen's fault, so she should not feel embarassed. Waving a paw dismissively. Brows lifted at the idea of going to the pool. Terasu seemed to agree with that, so she shrugged, "Sure." Actually seeming fairly indifferent to the idea.
A look was then given down to her punch and was sniffed at. Noticing the sickly sweet smell, although she did catch Terasu's eye and smirked as her thoughts seemed to go the same direction his did. Deciding to try the strange reddish concoction called 'punch'. Licking daintly at it and noticing that it tasted as sweet as it smelled, but it was agreeable. After drinking some of it, she lifted her head thoughtfully. Why was it called punch anyway? Its color did resemble blood.. and blood could result of punching someone in the nose... so. o_O Hm. Fascinating.

Atae, not currently privy to the meaning the behind the exchanged looks or Charity's rather intriguing train of thought, lapped up her punch and put the rest of the jug back in the fridge and the empty bowls on the counter in the kitchen after the other two had finished and then led the way out the back door under the stairs to the upper floor.
The back yard had various lawn chairs and a matching pateo set with a grill off to the side, though the central item was a fair sized pool. It pretty much remained uncovered during warmer weather, so there was no need to worry about that. She stepped up next to the edge and held up a paw with a shrug. "Ta-da? It's maybe not all that great considering all the rivers and stuff around but at least you don't have to worry about what might be floating in it I guess..."

Terasu could only raise a brow, not daring to bother asking what Charity was thinking about. He handed Atae his dish with a "thanks", and stood unsteadily to hop off the beanbag. He'd have to get one of those one day; too much fun and so comfortable.
Letting Atae lead the way, Terasu followed shortly and found that they were heading towards the back of the building. Pool time! He gave a passing glance to the outdoor items, only understanding the use of the chairs. All the other stuff were things he never grew around. He followed his belted friend right up to the side of the pool, one ear perked to listen. "True, at least it is clean." A smirk crept on his maw, and with an innocent tilt, he bumped his hip into Atae to send her splashing in the warm water. He could never get enough of that trick.

Charity silently followed them outside after their punch was done with. Still pondering the whole concept of the sickly sweet drink and its odd name... that is until she saw the water. An idea slowly creeping up in her mind as they approached the small body of water.
However, it seems that Terasu had similar plans as he bumped Atae into the water. What he didn't likely expect was Charity, whom was standing behind him... to give him a firm shove into the pool as well. Sweet revenge. A very broad and arrogant smirk coming to her maw as she sat, dry near the edge of the pool. Looking pristine and all too pleased with herself.
She had planned to get him back for that time he'd pushed her into the lake, and she had.

Atae wasn't expecting to be shoved into the pool... though considering it was Terasu, she probably should have. She flailed for a moment until she got up back above her and paddled back to the surface, spluttering. She was going to say something angry, at least until she saw Charity shove Terasu into the pool after her. She blinked and stared for a moment before making a grin to mimic Terasu's new mate when he broke the surface after her and turned to paddle to the other end of the pool where the diving board was.

Terasu's joy was short lived, as he felt a shove soon tilt him off the dry surface. In a slow motion sort of way, his mind scolded him for not considering such actions taking place. All that happened in his mind before he hit the water, only there was nothing he could do about it. The water washed over him and he quickly surfaced, sputtering. "You!" His vision was blinded as gray hair clung to his face. "I should have known better!" Water droplets sprinkled about as he shook the hair from his face, twisting in the water till he spotted Charity. He smirked, before splashing water on her perfect, dry pelt. Ha. Ears lifted as he glanced back to Atae, seeing her make a beeline to a board of sorts.

Looking as smug as she could possibly be, Charity looked on as her mate floundered in the water. A glance passed to Atae who seemed equally pleased with the turn of events. "Yes... you should have" she said to Terasu, and then found herself splashed. "Puh..." she scoffed, shaking her fur a bit. A look was given to Atae as she approached the diving board, wondering what the use was for that. She was born wild, and didn't know many of the human contraptions.
