I think it's aliens that cause the crop circles, but I've seen this one show offering an explanation for them. People go into fields, and flatten the grass with boards. I don't know if I can believe that part. It happens kinda fast....

There are many hoax crop circles, but it's easy to pick out the real ones since the stalks are changed at the cellular level. Their cells look like they've been scorched really fast at a really high temperature.

I've seen a few videos of a glowing orb over a field. And then the crop circle just sorta sinks right in. It's pretty amazing.

I know this is the alien/UFO topic, but since we're talking about crop circles, I hope this isn't too off-topic.
I actually went to see a guy who was talking about crop circles at a church (of all places). I'm a bit foggy on the details, but he mentioned some sort of lines on the earth with an unusually high amount of natural or spiritual energy of sorts, and crop circles only really happen in places on the earth where these lines occur. I'm actually leaning towards believing that crop circles are the work of some sort of ancient spirits or powerful ghosts, rather than aliens.
I found it a really amazing idea, at first, but if you think about it, it kind of makes sense. I mean, you'd think if aliens were trying to communicate, they'd find a better way than pressing difficult-to-decipher messages into a food source of a relatively primitive planet, thus destroying large quantities of said food source. That is, unless it's all some giant inter-planetary prank and they're up there laughing at us for spending so much time trying to figure it out.
Now, ancient spirits, on the other hand... They don't have access to the same amount of technology that aliens would. If they are trying to communicate, this may be the best way they can think of. Also, if they were the spirits of people who lived long ago, they could consider it their land, and they can do whatever they want to it, even if it is someone else's crop. The circle was also an important symbol of ancient pagan religions. And if you throw in the mysterious glowing balls of light, which is often how spirits appear on film, and the energy lines on the earth, it's not a bad explanation.

This story isn't very impressive, but it made me believe in extraterrestial beings.

I was walking home from sunday school when I was about 10 (so.. 1997) when I just happened to look into the sky to my left. Staying absolutely stationary was a long cigar-shaped craft with what looked like a large, very large, parascope on the top of it. This craft was very far away, but I could see where the pieces of metal, alloy, or whatever was used to make it, fit together. I could also see the gleam of light off of the (what I would call) windshield.

My mum had always wtached shows on UFOs and Aliens, so I automatically guessed it to be one. It freaked me out something awful, and I ran home as fast as I could. I live down the street from my old church, so it wasn't very far. I looked back up in the sky about halfway down my street and found the craft to be gone from sight. I ran past my father, who was washing the car in the front lawn, and straight to my mum, where I told her everything I saw. She thought it was some kind of UFO, but I still don't know if it was alien or governmental.

When I was younger, I saw colored misty figures run around my house, they were about 6 to 7 feet tall. I was a child back when I saw them, and my family said they have never seen these figures. At first I thought it was a side effect of my OCD, but I came to learn that this has nothing to do with OCD. Now I belive I may have been abducted by aliens, and these figures might be the aliens returning. I have no memories of abduction, but recurring dreams of this situation haunt me. I did have another sighting of these entities around Christmas of 06', sparking an intrest in them. I would like to know if aanyone else has had an experience similar to this.

Kiamra
what do you guys think causes the crop circles?
i think it aliens i mean people who live there go into their house 4 like 5 minutes and then BAM!!!!! theres one i their fields! question domokun

I was watching a show once that was tring to figure out if it was possible to make the most simple crop circle within a certain ammount to time (I forgot the time limit it might of been a hour or all night for all I remember.)but humans were not able to make the most simple crop circle.Atlease the way they were doing it was very time consuming. But still it just helps prove that it would be very hard for a human to create a crop circle without someone catching them.

Something also about aliens I found on the internet was did aliens build the great pyramid.I was looking up stuff about the great pyramid and I came across a thery that aliens built them.Im not sure if its true but I just thought I'd bring it up domokun .

People with boards? Bullcrap. You're telling me that nobody would notice or hear a group of people, and yes it would have to be a group doing it to do it in one night, flattening corn in their field? I'm sorry but I just don't believe that.

Thats what they were doing on the show I watched but it didnt work.

T^T Well I never experienced it before, but I'm really hoping it happens to me one day! I seriously think that it doesn't happen to people who want it to happen though.... crying Maybe ghosts & aliens have some sort of fear detector, that makes them only choose people who are really afraid of them. I know that if I met an alien, I'd be exited as hell, so it might not work......

Some people think that hypnotism doesn't work, or that it makes you believe false things. Like when you get hypnotized & describe an abduction. Anyone remember Betty & Barney Hill? Well, way back in 1961, 2 people, Betty & Barney Hill, were driving home one night. Then, they saw some ETs that totally abducted them. One of them, Betty I believe it was, asked the ETs where they come from. & an ET showed her a map of which star system they hail from. Then, they got hypnotized, etc, & Betty drew a map, the same map that the ET showed her. This is the drawing:

People back then didn't have any idea where it was, so they decided to call her a lier. Then, years later, they found a new star, & proved the map Betty drew was real. This is the star system zeta reticuli looks like

So I have a question, did she imagine the map, or did it really happen, before this star system was ever discovered?

Yeah, those two dudes probably said they did it to be on the news & become famous. People take credit for stuff, they didn't do all the time. Check this out:

I don't think I could do that in 4 hours wit a board. & I'm pretty damn fast. Maybe in a month, or two... & its so damn perfect too. I don't think anyone can do that wit out messing up, in 4 hours. Even in 4 days, with out rest! I mean c'mon? & Check out this vid too:

Holy **** did you see that? 2 lights come out of no where & they totally bent the crops. Do you know anyone who can do that? I sure as hell can't!

Not to be a D-bag but any aircraft that a person can not identify is a ufo, terrestrial or not.
