LOL Yes!

He could be really confused why everyone keeps saying that he looks like Barty Crouch Jr.

The poor man would be immediately attacked and sent to Azkaban for being a Death Eater. xd

There're a lot of good ideas here - bonus points for bringing back the native Cybermen!

I'll have to see what I can come up with now...

Aww, thank you. With all the Cybus Cybermen sucked into the void and the dimension permanently sealed, I figured that would be the only way to bring them back. And not only bring them back, but bring back their menace by having them convert an entire planet. I felt that they lost they're teeth a little in the Doomsday episode.

I was actually thinking of writing the script for The Relic/Silver Planet. Anybody have any suggestions for good script writing? I think I have Richard's personality of the Victorian-era gentlemen adventurer down pat. smile

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've started writing the outlines for The Relic/Silver Planet, I Doctor, Collision and Lucidity/Yin and Yang. I've just been blind-sided with inspiration for some reason. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress. heart

Homeless

The Doctor arrives on Planet KP-88 to show his companion(s) the amazing landscape, but when he arrives he notices that the sky is filled with thick black smoke. He investigates and finds a huge spaceship taking off, leaving behind even more smoke. As the smoke drifts away, a huge sea of monstrous beings are revealed. The Doctor runs back to his TARDIS and decides to go aboard this spaceship in order to find out what's going on. He discovers that the ship is piloted by human colonists. After being captured by the security forces on board, he is told that they were forced to leave by the monsters. These monsters were once the native lifeforms of KP-88, mutated by the smoke, which is a byproduct of the natural fuel on the planet. Everything these people have is built from the unusually strong dark metal found on the planet, and everything is fuelled by the mutagen-producing substance. Since the planet is now uninhabitable they escape to a new world, seemingly devoid of sentient life and rich in plantlife. They land, and create homes out of the hull of their spaceship. After a week, they are confronted by the native civilization(who live underground, hence why they didn't show up when the planet was scanned), who see the landing as a hostile invasion. The Doctor negotiates, but in the end the humans are killed. The destruction of the spaceship's power core, however, releases huge amounts of the black smoke, mutating or killing the native life. The sentient beings of the planet are doomed, the humans are dead, and the Doctor is forced to escape in his TARDIS. Fits of timelord emo-ness ensue.

I haven't thought of this outline outright. But perhaps a Labyrinth episode?

Your episode was based on that art work by Escher right? (I love that artwork xd aswell as your episode idea) but either that or a true labyrinth with some kind of minotaur thing....or is that too weird even for the Doctor?

I think, after all this time, you should know that there is no such thing as a story that too weird for Doctor Who. wink

But yeah, that episode was inspired by the works of MC Escher, in fact "Relativity" is also the title of one of Escher's most famous pieces:

Nice, but where's Donna? You're plotlines lack realism of the real show. But anyhow, here is one of mine.

A Whole New World

The Doctor and Donna receive a distress signal from an uncharted planet, and decide to investigate. It turns out, that this planet is what will soon be known as New Gallifrey, run by a long since forgotten Time Lord, whose name is unknown to any other creature in the universe. Together, with the help of a few friends and a strange message, the Doctor and Donna must uncover who this Time Lord is, and why he/she wants to rebuild Gallifrey.

Space, Time and Postra

The Doctor and his companion/s Travel to Zeroc, the moon of Postra. The former is inhabited by human colonists who have a xenophobic hatred of the Postrans, a primative society who nevertheless have access to time-weapons which erase their target from history, causing paradoxes.

While the two worlds wage war with each other, the Doctor discovers that Zeroc's president is The Rani, and that the Postrans are actually the descendants of a group of Time Lords who have devolved over the millenia (they have gained advanced knowledge of time travel by retaining the relics of their ancestors).

Amist all this the universe is being pulled apart.

Sounds lame, I know, but I have been working on this for some time now and there are some finer details to all this that I can't show you in this post.

By the way, great ideas, whoever it was who started this thread. Although personally I'm not too sure about making a historical figure into a companion. Somehow it just doesn't seem...right...
