"Nope! Safe friend!" Eri said cheerily, beaming. Song shook his head in disgust and scribbled something in his notebook again.
"Sorry. You're just really cute, with your giant cookie. Can I give you a hug?"

Hellis simply nodded and suddenly flung his arms out to his sides, waiting for a hug.
"He doesn't talk much, I'm afraid."

Giving a little squeal of happy, Eri threw her arms around him and squeezed. "It's okay if you don't talk much. You're nice and cute and have been around me for a while and haven't started beating me with a chair. That makes you good!" She giggled, giving him a snuggle.

Hellis' head flung back a bit. Hit her with a chair?! Good grief! He returned the hug and the snuggle, smiling slightly.
"God, am I lucky," Björn murmured to himself, and then looked to Song, "You can sit down. Really."

Eri giggled at Björn. "You are. You have two pretty things right here. Though, Hellis is prettier. I'm jealous."
Song sat across the table, putting the tablet away. Even if he wasn't outwardly appearing it, the events were making him feel more at ease with the decision to bring Eri back to Gaia. She did have people here who actually cared.

Hellis floofed his hair and puffed his chest out, then giggling and slumping back to normal form.
"I don't play favourites," Björn said matter-of-factly and cautioned a glance at Song. He wasn't good with people. Never had been and likely never would be. He had no idea what to say.

"It's interesting to finally meet you. She talked about you enough. It was easy to spot you." Song said, crossing his arms and leaning back in his chair slightly. Eri stuck her tongue out at him.
"I had to talk about something. Song helped me hide when people were looking for me." She explained to them, nodding.
"You could have slept. It was late." Song rolled his eyes.
"Since when has it being late ever meant that I sleep?"

Björn snickered.
"Yeah, well, I'm a hard guy to miss." Hellis snuggled into Björn's chest, still keeping an eye on Eri and munching his cookie. There was definitely something wrong in her head. He just was trying to figure out what.
And then the cookie was gone, and Hellis prodded Björn in the face.
"What?"
"Nnnnn!"
"What?!"
"HNF!"
"Use. your. words."
"Mmph." And the young man slumped, arms crossed.
"Drama queen."

Eri tilted her head to one side and smiled at him. "I'll get you another cookie!" She asked, standing and beaming at him before walking off with a whistle.

"Cuteness has nothing to do with it. She likes you, so she'll do anything for you." Song snorted, leaning back and watching Eri painstakingly pick a cookie out. She walked back, beaming, and offered it to Hellis.
"Here you go! Cookies for Hellis!" She chirped, sitting on the edge of the table.

Hellis nodded to Song and smiled when the cookie was brought back.
"Trust me. We know," Björn commented and shifted a bit. Goddamn chairs. Always too small. And it was a miracle this one hadn't broken yet.

"Know what?" Eri piped up, voice slightly raspy. Song frowned and pushed her soda towards her. Eri rolled her eyes and took a drink.
"My god. I just gave you sugar. I'm going to regret that, aren't I?" Song snorted.
Eri shook her head and smiled. "Sugar and caffeine are the only things that keep me conscious! Hooray!"

Hellis' eyes flickered back to Eri. Only thinks keeping her conscious? Yes, definitely needed work. But for now, cookies.

"It should be, because it is." Song said, rolling his eyes. "Good lord. She acts like a retarded howler monkey on speed."
"Funnel cake is tasty." Eri said in response, nodding with wide eyes.
