::The tall boy releases Keno just a moment after grabbing him - in fact, as he delivers his punches - as he simply wanted to divert the arm upward. After his third punch, he detects the incoming attack - not in sensing it in his opponent's aura as usual, but instead by simply by seeing the shift in movement of Keno's foot. Bringing his fourth punch to a stop, though without much time to pull it back, the Orinian slides his left leg to the side, lifting his heel to let only the ball of his foot slide along the tile and out of the way of Keno's kick. This takes his left arm out of attacking range, but it's better than a sore knee.

Lowering his right arm down to his side, Deity takes note of the fact that the tiger is airborne - though briefly - and flipping forward a short distance. Without letting his left heel touch the floor, the Mystic Tonepian takes the oppurtunity to strike at Keno's midsection. With his right foot planted nearer to Keno, the boy turns his upper torso until he is facing away from the flipping tiger, left leg poised and ready to fly. As soon as he pivots his waist, his foot bolts from the floor into a tight upward arc; a variant of a mule kick. Returning his right arm to his back as he does this, the sole of the tall boy's foot aims for his opponent's abdomen - just above his navel - as Keno drops back down. With the tiger in mid-air, an unhindered impact could prove a rather forceful blow.::

Ironically, at least in Keno's mind, his escape plan is cut short by the voluntary release of his arm, though it unfortunately was not soon enough to stop him from trying, which meant now he was off the ground for no real reason. No matter, though most were normally vulnerable, and truth be told he would have been too, but he still retained his nifty little Drift ability and the license to use it at his own discretion. This seemed about as good a time as any and he used the temporary blind spot from his opponent not only to avoid impact, but to float just inches out of range. He landed without a sound since he was temporarily a gaseous being instead of a solid one, and though Deity's foot could easily reach when he turned back around, such wasn't the case now.

Still not wholly impressed, the fiery eyed feline decided to step things up a bit, if he might. Instead of rushing back in, which would be foolish considering how much time the Wolf Demon had to recover from his kick by now, Keno though he might change the pace by simply thrusting his left arm, the foremost, forward to release a modest but still decent blast of ki at the Tonepian's head - no longer interested in softening the ribs and dissatisfied with prior immobilization tactics. Should it actually hit him, he might be knocked over by the force, maybe even a bit dazed, but not seriously wounded.

::Indeed, the boy has plenty of time to recover, thus giving him the time to turn and see Keno for himself. The tiger's Drift form makes its first appearance in the battle, evoking a soft groan and frown from Deity. It was only a matter of time, but he was hoping he could avoid seeing that thing. Pushing his thoughts on Keno's maneuver aside in favor of paying closer attention to the matter at hand, the Orinian quickly begins to retake his stance. His attempt is interrupted, however, Keno suddenly aiming a ki blast - though small - for the tall boy's head. Rather than attempt to weather it, he arcs his spin backwards, facing skyward for the moment that the little blast passes by overhis torso.

That frown lingers; he was hoping to avoid this, too. Things were just getting fun. Swinging his arms up and planting his palms hard to the tiled floor, the slender Tonepian flips backward rather than stand straight back up after his dodge. As his feet leave the floor, ankles together, they do perhaps the unexpected - a bright ball of ki energy blasts out of the soles of Deity's bare feet, just smaller than a volleyball and targeting the tiger's chest. Though impactful, the explosion itself would be nothing special; at most, enough to tear a typical shirt into threads. The force of the firing ball finishes Deity's backflip for him and then some, his hands lifting from the ground before he lands back to his feet. His left side is already forward as he retakes his stance from before, open hand extended with fingers toward Keno.::

His eyes flash as Deity did something he hadn't exactly expected, though hoped for. Whether or not the demon understood though was a completely different story. The fact that he fired ki from his feet aside, Keno was impressed that he wasn't as reserved as he thought.

Wanting to take advantage of of the situation though, Keno pulled out another trick as he raced for the sport ball sized blast of energy. Trying to catch up to Deity before he can get good footing, he produces a tunnel of air to catch the ki, whip around his body at waist point, and redirect it back toward its owner. Though simple enough, it takes a bit of time; about as much time to span the distance between the two warriors in the ring.

Now that he had redirected the attack, he wasn't far behind, aiming a low reverse sweep with his right foot, spinning clockwise, heel aimed above the Tonepian's right ankle. If this actually worked, he would perform another, quicker spin as he rose up to the ball of his left foot, dropping his right foot like a hatchet above the demon's torso.

::Not one to take kindly to having his retaliatory attack thrown back to him, the tall boy makes good use of his ability to fly rather than fall straight back down. Hovering backwards some ten feet above the floor at a greater speed than he would have by his flip alone, he is given the time to brace himself for the ki sphere and the advancing tiger as he lands. Not wishing to waste time with the ball, the Orinian focuses a small amount of energy into his left hand before curling it across his chest and backhanding the volatile energy. The orb is smacked away with a bright spark, soon to collide with the stadium ceiling.

With Keno still out of range for a physical assault, Deity mirrors his advance, typical stance adapting to that of a dash. Still with his left side first, the quiet boy no longer has his left arm extended forward, but rather bent ninety degrees at the elbow, half-curled fist nigh level with his face. Once coming within a meter or so of Keno, the Mystic Tonepian kicks himself into a counter-clockwise spin off of his right foot. His rotation is swift, coming nearly full circle by the time he is fully within range - arm still up, his left foot is fired for a fast and heavy kick to Keno's chest. The leg is until the point of impact curled nearer to the chest, snapping out in time to execute the mid-air kick.::

Well now this was something he had hoped for. Not sure why himself, he took delight in the fact that he and Deity were now bolting toward one another. Of course this meant he'd be a downright fool to try and continue his original tactic, but he just kept moving.

The wolf demon begins to spin, and Keno takes his cue, not slowing down, but coming to a dead stop just within range of the oncoming kick. Bracing himself right foot forward, he answers the kick by catching it under his left arm, palm grasping the calf of his attacker as his right hand plants itself against the thigh.

Spinning counter-clockwise himself, the feline pivots his right leg as his arms make something of a sweeping motion, intending to rub the back of the Tonepian's head against the ring like an eraser on paper before flinging him into a high arc in the direction of the entrance.

Wasting little time, should Deity be unable to correct himself halfway to the peak of his ascent, Keno's clasped palms would be racing down like a hammer to a nail against his back.

::Due to the angle of Deity's form during his kick, Keno's spinning throw would sooner plant the Orinian's face into the floor than the back of his head. This allows the boy some defense with his free arms - albeit, he must turn a little in doing so. Not able to do much in the way of preventing the tiger from tossing him at this level of strength, Deity's light frame is swung toward the ground. Extending his left arm and sliding his palm along the floor, his significant strength is able to keep his face and chest from grinding against the tile. It's none too kind on the tape around his hand, though. His next trick, so to speak, comes just as soon as Keno tosses Deity into the air by the leg.

Deftly taking his right hand from behind his back, the quiet Tonepian lets it glide along the surface of the floor now, letting his left hover to his side. At the very moment that his opponent lifts him high enough to allow a full stretch of his arm, Deity's palm suddenly seems to stick to the floor like a magnet, moving with the flow of the tiger's swing but never parting with the ring itself. When Keno releases Deity's leg, the force of the attempted throw sends the boy into a flipping spin of sorts, landing him just a few feet before Keno and just slightly to the tiger's right; his right hand is still to the floor, left foot and right knee to the side of it.

Hoping to capitalize on the speed at which he reached this position, he immediately pushes his lower body upward with his left leg, keeping himself temporarily balanced on his right arm. Once horizontal, his right shin snaps out for a kick to Keno's ribs, followed swiftly by a second heavy left kick to the same location. If successful in this maneuver, Deity pushes his upper body up with his arm just as his legs are falling, allowing him to return to an upright position in preparation for whatever retaliation his unpredictable opponent may deliver.::

Well he certainly hadn't expected such a counter attack, and hardly had time to register how Deity had kept himself planted on the ground at all. That being the case, the right shin to the ribs couldn't rightly be stopped. The surge of force seemed to remind him that he had previously slammed into the ground with his shoulders and the quick flash a pain sent his body sprawling to the left just as the second kick came in, causing little dots of light to twinkle in front his eyes whether opened or closed.

Landing roughly on his left arm he barrel rolled only once before his palm touched the ring floor, fingers digging only about a centimeter into it as he pulled the rest of his body inward. His right foot, taking the fore, was bent at the knee hear 90 degrees while his rear left came in on the ball of his foot, his body crouched, his right arm extended and his left holding him steady. the bruise was already starting to pulse on his ribs, and his shoulders were stiff, yet he ignored it and focused on his next move. Deity was maybe seven feet away, but Keno could hardly see with all those damn flashing dots.

::The tall boy returns to his feet as planned, rather gracefully keeping hold of his balance and even landing with his left side forward, returning to his previous stance. Not so eager to let things slow down yet, Deity quickly moves into his next attack. The tiger doesn't have much time to contemplate his next maneuver, as the Orinian is already advancing, covering the short distance with a few long-legged strides. After his second right step, he finds himself within a yard of Keno's forward leg. Rather than continue with a left footfall, he keeps his balance in his planted right foot; left leg swinging in from the side, he draws in the corresponding arm.

Though only a degree faster than the Tonepian's actual steps, his quick left kick is aimed for the outside Keno's right ankle, hoping to take it out from under him. His foot is hooked and its path arcing upward - if he hits as he intends to, Keno's entire right leg will be dragged upward for just that moment.::

Partially blind as he was, he wasn't so distracted by it to avoid hearing footsteps. The first one signaled him back to the fight, and the second let him guess at about how much time he would have until impact.

Not a lot.

His only resort was to wait patiently as the air about him vibrated, which would give him only the smallest amount of time to respond, but that was probably good practice anyway.

Less than five feet away, coming in with a left foot. Not a sweep exactly, but a rising kick. All of this registers in his mind within a single fraction of a second, but that doesn't mean he has all the time in the world.

His arms switch altitudes, right lowering to the ground under his upper thigh, instantly taking on most of his weight at his left rose to about chest height. Shifting the rest of his body weight, he spins counterclockwise, letting the force of Deity's kick accelerate his rotation, albeit rising his right ankle a little. He would have kicked out, but he wouldn't reach at just about a yard away and his spin was much too rapid. Instead, as his left side came around, his left forearm twisted outward to face the wolf demon as his elbow extended to about 90 degrees.

Just prior to its position though, there came from his palm another ki blast, this one his signature Tiger Wave which might leave a whole at the point of impact, but wasn't set to cause any awe inspiring explosion, but rather to force the Tonepian back so that Keno could get back on his feet. Hopefully the spots would be gone when he stood back up.

::Tricky little feline, isn't he? The quiet Orinian silently remarks on Keno's second physical ki attack, this one his classic Tiger Wave. Strangely enough, Deity can't remember ever actually having had this fired at him before. Signature move or not, he has no reason to be hit by it if he can see it coming and is able to move. Which he can, thanks very much to the quick spike of energy in Keno's hand and the direction of his own kick. Moving with the flow of his failed tripping maneuver, the Mystic Tonepian rotates roughly ninety degrees clockwise before kicking from the ground with his right foot, sending his slender form backward into a tight flip just as the Tiger Wave is released.

The attack passes just by the tall boy's mid back before his legs swing down and meet the floor. His knees curl in just enough to give him a graceful landing, his right arm remaining behind his back, left arm free and hovering at his side to keep his landing balanced. As with last time, Deity decides to retaliate similarly to his opponent. While he would prefer to continue with a kick of some sort, his landing has ensured that any such attack would be telegraphed; his right arm is out of range, and his left is in no position to attack. How about a kiai, the boy asks himself for no apparent reason.

Without a need to aim it with at particular limb, Deity utilizes this simple technique at nearly point blank range, just ahead of Keno and to his right; he remains at a distance similar to that of when he executed his last kick. The boy's hidden vermillion orbs flash brightly for this instant, a powerful hiss emanating from his person. With a thunder-like clap, the invisible wave of force ripples from Deity's body, aiming to slam into Keno and drive him straight out of the ring.::

Was he sensing a pattern here? He fires one off, and one comes right back at him. Not a bad thing, but rather peculiar. Maybe it was just the thing to do. Either way it was fun, although this one was a bit closer, though not quite as dangerous as the other in that it was pure force and not exactly that destructive. Had he firmer footing, he'd have perhaps tried avoiding the kiai, but he was about done anyway.

As Deity had moved to his right, the side of his body still in spin was most critically exposed to the incoming kiai. His rotation is canceled and actually reversed, his right leg moving to catch his weight against the force of the kiai. In position, he did in fact slide, but not quite as far as the edge of the ring. Before he would go that far, he had lept back and then maneuvered forward via flight to land a decent fifteen or so feet away.

"Good," he said as he rose to his feet, brushing himself off patiently. Looking up, he seemed to be in good spirits as he walked back over to Deity, hands in his pockets. He took his time, getting there when he got there and no sooner. Clearly though he wasn't about to attack, and if he was, he was a real jack a**.

"How's about if you run out of ideas, you teach her a little bit of that. Just for starters." He definitely sounded kipper, smiling, eyes beaming and all. Looking at Deity for a moment, he only continued with that pleased expression before lifting his right arm to pat his right shoulder with a hearty laugh. After that he strolled for the exit, still laughing, but it wasn't at all condescending.

Cheery as his old self, or what many thought to be his new self, the feline took his leave of the place, hoping that in his own way, maybe he helped. With no guarantees in life, he was instantly grateful for such a good fight.
