LordEon
Wow, you've all got really neat and cute character pics... Mine's just a bit plain still... And naked. o.รณ

Ahem! I'm Eon, an 18-year-old student from Nottingham (in the UK) on his gap year, who spends far too much time on his computer and not enough time looking for a real job. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I work(for nothing) in a local charity shop for two hours in the evenings, which can be quite enjoyable... But I'd sooner do a job that actually pays. :p

I've been a Sonic fan since around 1993 when I think the AoStH series started in the UK, and gradually my knowledge of the Sonic universes has expanded since then to encompass all of the mainstream Sonic universes (Japanese, European, and American) to some degree. It's hard to pick favourites, and they've shifted over time, but I'd say I like the gaming universe best (which is implied by the fact that my sprite comic is primarily based on that universe, albeit altered somewhat to suit my own designs).

My sister owned a Master System with about two games once, and I think I played on it more than her. I myself got a Gamegear with Sonic Chaos (Sonic & Tails), but could never finish it and now I've misplaced both. Eventually I got a Megadrive (Genesis) off a friend who let me borrow it for so many years that by the time he had a Playstation he didn't want it back, so I got to keep it. The collection of games that came with it were just a little more impressive than the Master System and Gamegear. Finally, in February 2001 I got a Dreamcast, exclusively to get Sonic Adventure, because it was on offer, and luckily Sonic Adventure 2 came out that very June. However, had I known that both games were going to be ported to the Gamecube and that the Dreamcast was about to die, I might've excercised some patience. Got a Gamecube with Sonic Heroes this year, and I'm hoping to get some more games for Christmas.

As for comics, I collected over 100 issues of Sonic the Comic, but stopped getting it at #200, because I was wasting money on stories I already had once it went reprint. Despairing of StC at that time, I came upon Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog in Forbidden Planet in January 2001 and became a regular customer there, though by summer 2002 I was collecting the new Transformers comics, not StH, which I'm sorry to say was disappointing. I guess I was hoping for a comic book version of SatAM.

Anyway, yeah, I have more interests than just Sonic. My other great obsessions are Transformers (which I've loved even longer than Sonic, so long I can't remember not loving them), and anything written by JRR Tolkien. His world is a fascinating place and I love reading his works. Besides that, I enjoy a good read, I have a wide taste in music (just not stuff where the artists insist on screaming into the mic or swearing every other line), I like various films too (my tastes aren't really genre-specific with them). My long term career ambition is to rule the wor--Ahem! become a journalist or reporter of some kind. It'll become clearer when I've been to university I hope.

Anyway, I'm done now, so you can wake up. :p

zzzzzzzz.....Wha? O_o

I lurk around Artail, but I haven't had much time to play with the oekaki. I'm more of a Sonic HQ regular, usually.

Other than Artail, where else do you tend to go, if anywhere?

RL name's Robert Delozier, I live in PA in the states, spend too much time on video games and the computer, and I've loved sonic for what seems a long time.

I liked sonic when it came out, but about 10 years ago, I became fascinated with dragons. They hold, on my computer, as much as my sonic folder does, and I have SOOOOOO many different periphernalia items in my room. My room is 9 Game consoles, Sonic and Dragons. Period. oh, and don't forget the constant cluttered mess. As well as the stencil-Mat I cut out, painted, and created with my own hands. and materials. don't forget materials. I like my Dragon-Anthro Character, Drake Valos, and furries too. Sonic could be considered furry.

My best gaming skills are tetris-like games (Robotnik on Herdest mode in Dr. R's Mean Bean Machince is a cinch, as well as Colums 3 in hard mode and Tetris for gameboy (My highest lines/score was about 388/450000. I couldn't believe it, either)), etc. etc. That and button mashing. If anyone's ever played mario part games, I will ALWAYS win in button mashing. Like Mario Party 6. NPC modes are Easy, Normal, Hard, Harder, and Brutal. In a game called 'Pop Star', it's 1 vs. 3, and I can beat all three on Brutal. I think I can mash 10-15 times a second. It's my special 2-thumb method.

Oh, and I suck at sports and FPS's. So I don't like them.

That'd be interesting, although it wouldn't work: a FPS sonic game. xd

I've used the Alias 'Black___Dragon' ever since WebTV (Blech. I can't believe I ever used that), for nearly 9 years now.

ahhhhh, anyway, that's dumb ol' me.

You haven't seen "constant cluttered mess" until you've seen my room. smile

Welcome to the guild!

And you really didn't have to donate that much... *blush*

Pffft. 2500g is nothing with what I've made and invested in the marketplace (made thousands on fish alone xd )

And yeah, I've seen worse rooms. But hey, it's okay, we're allowed. mrgreen
unless, of course, a parent says otherwise. hee eheh.

I've been meaning to try fishing myself, but I'm wondering what sort of returns I'd get for my investment. What sort of rod would you recommend?

And my parents've been saying otherwise ever since I got back from university. I'm just running out of ways to hedge around having to deal with it. smile

And happy (belated) birthday! smile

Yo! I'm Jammer! I'm not as big of a Sonic fan as I used to be, but the title is still very important to me!

I'll be 23 in April and I've been a fan since 1993 when I randomly picked up issue 1 of the Archie comics mini-series. Ah, the memories! I had been an avid collector of that series until this past year, when the writing started to bother me and I don't really have the money to buy comics regularly. crying

But I've got EVERYTHING up to issue 136, the old Sega Genesis games, storybooks, plushies, and a bunch of other various merchandise! (Bubble bath!! xd )

The comic was very influential to me and during that first year of collecting it, it gave me a goal of becoming a comic book illustrator. It's a goal that I'm still trying to pursue twelve years later. It's a very hard goal, but I want to at least say that I tried. I've made multitudes of anthro characters thanks to the Sonic series as well. sweatdrop I'll have to show off some art sometime...

My favorite characters... eek, it's so hard to choose... Well, I'll say my favorite minor characters are Mina Mongoose and Monkey Khan! whee

Names Dog Boy, but my good friends call me Blue.

I've been a Sonic Fan from the start, being 15, I even remeber picking up the controller and playing the origional Sonic when i was young.

The first Sonic game I beat was (sadly) SA2. Then as soon as I beat that, I've beaten every other one.
My favorite Sonic characters are Shadow, Sonic, and Metal Sonic.

I have Sonic posters posted all through my room, and If i cant find one, I draw one instead. I've been able to draw Sonic characters since I was a little kid, and just over the past few years, I've learnt to draw anime.

I'm also the eight Generation of Canadians in my family. Any other Canadain Sonic fans here?
