LOL, when I started learning chemestry we had some lessons about alchemy biggrin that was the only time... but I think conventional-science is more relyable biggrin

I'm glad someone thought up this thread. I was going to myself, but I didn't know if it was allowed. Well anyways, me and a group of friends(about 7 others) are going to start practicing alchemy in around 4 years. We only ask that you get a bank account and start saving up money for books, materials, chemicals, e.t.c. If you want to join us, we can see if you can help. Just PM me for details and such. We aren't going to be doing stupid time wasting things such as turning base metals into gold. In fact we're not even going for the Philospher's Stone. It's almost strictly for the pursuit of knowledge. Ofcourse if we just happen to come across either of those things, we might just take a detour to investigate, but I'm not making promises. And also, I tired to make a stalactite come out of the ground using the alchemical circle Dr. Marcoh used to stab Envy, but sadly it didn't work.(Edward M. Elric and Windblade seem to have done their homework. I think you two should join us.)

Alchemy is technically possible if you count nuclear fission. I haven''t really studied Transmutation yet. But apart from that, attempting FMA alchemy is amusing but absurd.

Alchemy? Real alchemists were scientists who wanted to change the charges in the atom to transform it into a whole new pure substance, like the infamous alchemy Faust, and obvously, it doesn't work because if it did... gold would be as cheap as dirt

Heck yeah, better believe I do. XD You have no idea how many times I've clapped my hands and slammed'em against a building. Or how many times I've drawn a transmutation circle on my hand. I snap on a daily basis, too...with the hand that has the ignition circle, of course. 3nodding

One time I got really really bored and a few miles away from my house is a old barn that my friends and I hang out in. You know how Ed sometimes makes holes in walls and floors? Well I wanted to do that so I did the alchemy circle and pressed my hands against the wall and it fell over! I was like eek but then I saw my friend snickering in a dark corner with some tools who somehow knew I would do it sooner or later. She took out all of the nails on the sides of that wall so a simple push would take it down.
I thought I did it, but my evil friend just did it manually. I tell you if she didn't do that it still wouldhave fallen! 3nodding
