Kaori willingly followed and looked back at what she was running from and felt a cold rush through her,'So that is what she is running from.'Kaori told herself and simply followed the girl.

"My house should be safe for you overnight, I'm guessing your new here?" Irene said as she ran.

"Higher now, Aubrey, higher! On our way, let's say hello to our creator, hmm? Hello, God, just passing through! Hahaha!"
"Get out of me!!!"
"Oooh, Aubrey, that sounded so sexual. You have no idea! Heehee!"
The angel continued to climb higher, one wing fighting to descend, the other fighting to ascend.
"Go, Irene... Get home..." Finally, Aubrey gave up the fight aganist the vampire, himself, and he climbed higher, one wing carrying his entire weight.
"And then down, down into the dark abyss you so graciously call life! Do not worry though, little Aubrey, once you die, I inhabit this body. Goodbye!"
And down they plummeted... Down.... Down...

Irene heard the conversation from the part where Aubrey told her to run. Irene skidded to a stop and turned to watch him going down. "No! I have to save him somehow!" Irene pulled out her phantom dagger and prepared to throw it. "Phantom dagger! Pierce the evil and set the light free!" Irene's dagger was called the phantom dagger because it hit nothing but it's target.
It would phase through anything else in it's path. Irene also knew whatever evil was in the man she could only distract it or knock it unconcious at the best. As she threw the dagger, Irene ran underneath Aubrey hoping to break his fall. Although she knew that at his speed it would hurt her. But she didn't care at that point.

Kaori watched as the girl was willing to break hs fall and ran up beside her and closed her eyes and whistled softly.
A puppy looking thing appeared beside her and looked up at Kaori,"Delok...save him."Kaori spoke softly and watched as Delok grew larger and caught the falling man and dropped him slightly to the ground beside Kaori and the girl.
Kaori nodded to Delok and he disappeared. she looked at the man fighting against himself,"So you are part Vampire? I can only do this much to help you."Kaori concentrated and her angelic stall appeared she lightly tapped it against the ground and a bright heavenly light appeared,"This might hurt for now, but it might stop him till morning."Kaori spoke in her soft voice.

Aubrey lay unconcious to all this, his eyes, hair, and wings flashing colors wildly as the vampire and angel fought for control.
The angel within, the real Aubrey, surfaced for barely a moment.
"DO IT!!!!" He yelled, and lept back into the battle.

Kaori nodded and closed her eyes and the heavenly light grew and engulf the small area around them. Kaori watched as he fought more with himself.

Slowly, ever so slowly, the flashes of color ceased, the thrashing halted. All was calm.
All was quiet.
All, was dark.

Kaori dropped her staff and it disappeared into light. Kaori wondered if what she had done had helped even a little bit.

"Th-...Thank you..." Came from Aubrey, the good Aubrey's lips.
"Both of you." Aubrey spoke to the girl, and the Angel. He stood slowly, leaning against a nearby wall.
"What a fall, eh?"

Irene retrieved her Phantom dagger and smiled. "I... Didn't really do much. But I'm glad you're all right." Something was familiar about this guy, but even if she wanted to remember she lost her memory after hitting her head a year ago. She didn't even know how her memory was lost, but it didn't matter now. It happened so long ago. Irene noticed it was nearly completely dark, there was still danger in the dark. "We're not out yet, I'm sure my dad wouldn't mind you two spending the night at my house." Irene pointed behind her at an orphanage.

Kaori was glad to hear that she was able to help some and then looked at the girl wondering if she had noticed her what she was yet.
Kaori was kinda like a fallen angel, but she was sent for a reason, she lost all memory of how she got there, and what she was. She only knew her name and what she had to do.
Kaori smiled sweetly at the girl and smiled brightly and regained her bubbly nature,"Oh thank you, thank you, Ms. that was a pretty bad fall though Mr. you should be more careful."Kaori giggled trying to get their mind off the recent events. [

"Hmm... Yes, it was.. We should go, I- Ms.... It's getting pretty dark. I'll light the way." Aubrey made a ball of flame appear in his hand as the last threads of light dissapeared. He put a hand on his Guitar-Scythe, and nodded for Irene to lead the way.
If you only knew.. Aubrey thought, looking at Irene as she led the way. But then there was the other angel.
Kaori... It must be near then... Aubrey sighed, and hoped no one could read his thoughts here. Everything was so insecure, not knowing anyone's powers...
As they walked, a russel was heard behind him. He thought it was just the man he had seen before, but he noticed the man was next to them. A screech followed.
"I think we should move. Just a bit faster now."
Aubrey unfurled his wings, which caught aflame as well, illuminating the surrounding area. For mutant-like hairless creatures.
"I'll handle them. Just get inside, wait five seconds, and if I'm not there, close the door!"
