Writing our own musical? That was interesting. Minori felt sorry for Satu, standing up there. Apparently, he was terrified of crowds. Or maybe it was stage fright? But he was a musician...

"Satu-kun." A voice came from the back. "What if we did something fun, different from stuff like Phantom of the Opera? Like...High School Musical?" After saying that however, Minori looked uncomfortable. It was like she had announced her presence. And she had wanted to stand here without anyone noticing.

Satu smiled slightly. "Well I don't know about fun but I'm feeling a little bit better about being up here. Only a little though." Satu added feeling a new wave of nausia coming. "You're right though. If I look terrified no one's going to sign up for the musical are they?" he sadi looking down again at the audience.

Satu laughed. "Hey you came up here on your own accord! I had nothing to do with it!" he said brightly. It was true though that it had actually helped Satu quite alot. He was starting to feel a little less nervous knowing that Roka was up here with him.

Satu looked into the crowd to see Minori and smiled as kindly as he could. She didn't seem to happy about drawing attention to herself. "I like that idea! It might be interesting to try something fun and different. It would be hard enough to get the go ahead from the staff though but it would definatly be worth a try anyway!" he said brightly, nodding to Roka to please write the suggestion down. There was another reason why he was glad Roka was writting for him. Satus own handwritting was truely horrible. No one would be able to read it but himself.

Kiyoshi had stood at a side throughout the discussion; music was never one of his specialties... However, maybe he could help in other areas. The musical seemed to be a good idea, something to look forward to in his first year in high school, and something to remember the year by.

"Excuse me, Satu," Kiyoshi stepped out, offering a faint smile. Looking at "On writing an original piece for our own use, I believe that it is highly possible... It would be... Much more exciting than using an existing musical."

Pausing, the male added as an afterthought, "Since this is a student production, may I request to work backstage? I'm sure making the props and costumes will be no problem for me, but actually acting in the musical... That's something else. Of course, I will need help from the student body."

Satu smiled. "That would be great. We'd truely be screwed if we didn't have the stage crew now wouldn't we?" he said laughing slightly. "Would you like to be in charge of backstage because if we don't have a backstage manger or something it would be utter confusion back there. Or so I believe anyway..." Satu said trailing off. He didn't know alot about the workings of backstage but he knew that there was certainly alot of work involved.

"Okay so if everyone thinks its a good idea to write our own musical we'll have to get a few volenteers for things such as script. I wouldn't mind helping out with the music. We'll also need a director and a coreographer and such to help the whole thing run smoothly. Now you can volenteer now or if you need some time to think there will be sign up sheets all over the school for the next week. Any questions?"

"Yes, backstage would be fine," Kiyoshi nodded, a faint smile on his lips. Bowing a little, the dark hair male continued, "Thank you... Now, after a musical had been decided on, I will start recruiting backstage crew to start work on the design of the props and costumes... Of course, most of the... Heavier work will be done by some external agencies."

The male took a quick glance around. Hopefully, students will be interested to help with props and costumes... He can't do everything alone. It would take far too much time and effort, both lacking a little.

Having given her idea - or Roka's idea, to be more specific - Mitsuko had stood quietly as others offered their ideas. Blinking in surprise at a familar voice, she turned around, hopping up and down to see over the heads of the other students. Finally, noticing Minori, the girl grinned, and gave her fellow classmate a happy wave. Then, slipping through the crowd, she bounced up towards the other girl. "Minori-chan! Hello!"

"This musical is going to be a lot of fun, hm? Are you planning on trying out for the audition?" Grinning, Mitsuko clasped her hands together. "You should! I'm going to try too, and I'm sure Minori-chan would make a lovely singer, or actress!"

She then quieted down long enough to hear Kiyoshi speak, and Satu's reply. Eyes lighting up, she instantly rose a hand, waving it eagerly. "If I can be of any use, I'll help!" She chirped, nodding, "With anything, really. I'm also hoping to audition for a part, but aside from that, I can dedicate all my time to making myself useful for the musical."

Kiyoshi smiled; Mitsuko was always so enthusiastic about everything. He meant it in a good way, of course, although he does wonder where she gets all that energy from. Nodding at the female to acknowledge her question, or request, Kiyoshi mused, "Yes... I could always use the help. Thank you for offering, Miss Mitsuko. Would you care to be my lovely assistant?"

The student paused briefly before he added, "If you do get a part in the musical, however, I'll rather you place full attention in that and help out part-time backstage."

Satu smiled. "Okay well no Kiyoshi-kun is now incharge of backstage. If anyone wants to help him please sign up with him and not with me. I will offically be incharge with the music group. If anyone is intreseted in helping or joining the orchestra please come and see me. We still need a Director and possibly a producer aswell as a screenwriter if we're making our own musical. If Roka would allow me I would like bothof us to be incharge of the composition of the music aswell as anone else who wishes to join!" he said brightly.

If you do not get a main roe in the musical you may work both backstage and take a part aswell if you are the lead role we will, of course, have to stop you from working backstage." Satu added matter of factly.

From down the hall, Audric could just barely make out the murmur of many voices. AH! Audric thought, quickening his light jog to a full on sprint. He'd forgotten to work on his speech for history, so the teacher chewed him out and Audric was now late for his first meeting of the music club. Crap he whispered under his breath as some of his notecards flew loose from his hands and drifted to the floor. He quickly slid to a stop and picked up the cards in a frenzy; loosing a few as he shooved them into the nearest folder.

Back into a sprink, Audric run and run as the voices began louder and louder. However, Audric was moving far too quickly; there was no way he could stop in time. Instead of walzing into the room, Audric slid straight past the door. But at the last moment he managed to grab ahold of the doorknob, pulling himself to the floor. His fall hadn't been too noisy and none of his stuff got dropped, so Audric prayed that no one saw his little move. Instead of dewling over his accident, Audric stood up, walked into the room, and said,

"Hey everyone. Sorry I'm late. I'm so smart the teacher just can't bare to see me leave." He hopped this statement was taken as a joke, like intended. "Wha'd I miss?"

((I hope it's okay to jump in. n___n''))

A certain redheaded girl sat in the back of the room, watching the nervous blonde on stage with curious eyes. Her arms were crossed loosely above her lap, her back straight against the back of her chair. She often did not express much interested in class events (though participated anyway. It looked horrible to not partake in events), but this was exactly herkind of thing. 'A musical,' she mused mentally, watching the other pipe up and start talking. The girl, Seraph, recognize their faces as only faces, not by name. She often melded into the background, and as a new face herself, she was often happy with the lack of attention.

But now she wanted to speak up... Be involved! A musical... All her reading of shakespeare may come in handy afterall. One of the girls was already talking about auditions, and silently her competitive nature began to spring in the back of her head. She'd have to be on her toes... She would rather a part acting than doing backstage work, but writing a script didn't seem so bad. She contemplated on something to say other than thoroughly agreeing on the original musical concept. Just as she opened her mouth to say something, someone had stepped into the room. She recognized his face only from glimpsing at it before.

She smiled politely, unsure of what else to do. Her throat was dry with thought, and swallowed to speak without a crack, "They're spekaing about doing a musical," she said, glancing back to the enthusiastic students closer to the blonde boy. Her tone held a bit of interest, though she was thoroughly disappointed in herself for not piping up.

Grinning at Kiyoshi, she nodded cheerily. "If you need an assistant, I'd gladly help! I want to do all that I can for this musical to be a success!" She grinned, before waving a hand. "I can do both, I'm sure. I can drop any other appointments I have to help and to act if it comes to that."

Listening to Satu, Mitsuko chewed on her lip thoughtfully. Darn, so many things! To be honest, she wanted to help with everything. She could play a little piano, and sing, which was why she wanted to be in the musical itself. But she wanted to be of service as well, and and...

Well. How confusing.

"Satu-kun, Roka-kun?" She chirped from her spot, "If I may ask, when will the auditions be held?"

"A musical? Any in particular?" Audric asked a little too quickly in his excitment. All his life he'd always seen plays and musicals performed, but he'd never actually been in one. Yes, his parents allowed him to sneak backstage to help with tasks such as makeup and costumes, but those performances were always huge and only needed the best actors and actoresses. But a school musical was sometime entirely different. It was a chance to discover if perhaps Audric had a hidden talent somewhere deep inside of him. No doubt those years of having a family involved with theater would come in handy here.

However, Audric was pretty sure he was not talented singing wise. Dancing he could do somewhat, or at least be able to learn, but that same concept doesn't apply to singing. Hmm...

But Audric quickly forgot this when he heard a girl ask about auditions.

Required? Miho fought the urge to scream. Really, why on earth did the school have things that classes were required to do? She knew that there was no way that she'd get out of participating in this as once her mother found out she'd be in deep trouble if she wasn't already participating in some way.

She paused, struggling to think of something that the boy... Satu? Wasn't it? .. had listed that she'd be willing to do. Set painting and design sounded interesting but then again she hated for anyone to see her art. Back and forth she went before she sighed softly, deciding that letting some people see some of her art was better then any of the other things that it would be possible to do. Making an annoyed noise she tossed her hair back out of her face, it had grown over the year and now hung just below shoulder length with her bangs pushed to one side of her face as they fell into her eyes otherwise.

With a soft grumble she stood and made her way towards the boy Satu had called Kiyoshi. Standing off to one side of him she cleared her throat softly to alert him to her presence and waited for him to finish speaking to Mitsuko.

Satu looked down at the crowd and suddenly felt a little better about his current position. People seemed to be interested enough in joining in, there were a few grumpy faces but atleast no one was mocking his idea right? He ran a hand through his blond hair and smiled, looking down at Mitsuko.

"Um well we havn't really the date set yet but maybe in about 2 weeks. We need to have a basic story first before we can audition anyone for any parts." he said nodding and hen stood back up and talked into the mic. "If anyone wants to help out with the script and story please come to me after this and we'll come up with a time to meet so we can get this musical underway!" he said happily.

Audric took a seat next to the girl who had first spoken to him. The rest of the story was quickly filled in by the murmurs of all the other students in the room. They were all busy chatting about the upcoming storyline and how they planned to participate in the performance. Audric figured his best bet would be to audition for a part in the play or to help out Kiyoshi-san backstage. But all those things could wait. For now, Audric wanted a chance to be part of the script writing.

Glancing around, Audric searched for the best route to the stage where Satu was still standing. By now, the whole room was bustling with noise and movement. He decided the alley nearest the door he entered would be the cleanest way. It only required hurtling over a few bookbags and squeezing by a couple of elbows. But until the end of the meeting he was going to remain seated and do some brainstorming.
