"We're going to be late you know." Keanu managed to say inbetween his fathers fretting. The comment one that sort of meant it wasn't so much a matter of debate. He was going to go, obviously. Even if Raja did hate Alan and the place in general with a passion. One that only seemed to get worse every day, but they'd just have to work on that.
Tai-Yun had been the one ot get the message nad took it to Keanu without much thought. It was when the feline had noticed Keanu getting ready to leave that the whole rant started. Though he was finished with that now. "So we're going to leave now before we end up later than we already are." His father would understand, he'd never really listened to the warnings to begin with. "Besides, Alan promised no one would get hurt, you don't need to worry." And no one would, he'd make sure of it.
That was a while before. Now he could see the groups of dragons and kids in the lot. Yep, definitely late. Still, at least everyone was still there. He lightly patted the back of Ymir's neck as the draggon dipped his wings to begin a decent for a spot a bit off from the other's. A quick dive for the ground before the hybrid landed fairly smoothly. They'd both gotten used to the whole landing thing since the first time Alan had explained flight to them. At least he wasn't going flying anymore. That had been less than graceful.
Shoving himself off of Ymir's back and onto the ground Keanu glanced at his partner to ensure the pale dragon was ready to go deal with whatever negotiating Alan had been talking about. "Shall we?" The dragon finished it's slight stretch before starting towards the group.
"Sound good." Ymir replied easily as he began to glance at who all was in the group. There was a red dragon he knew with the bat girl, and the frost... That black dragon from the class. "Late?" He mused noting the large group.
Keanu needed no second bidding to head over, his steps quick as he was eager to find out what was going on. "Just a bit, but I think dad felt better?"
"Would like not come." The dragon replied simply.
"Probably." At that point they dropped the conversation as they reached the group, a grin showing easily on the leopard's face as he recognized a few friends. "Hey!" Miss Monster, Princess Earako, Lian, Mister Monster. Most of whom he hadn't seen for quite a while. "What's going on?" He was a bit late, maybe they'd heard something?

Revon hadn't been thrilled about the call. Not because he didn't want to help, he did, but because he knew he couldn't. The bird's wings drooped behind him as he slunk down toward the lot, which held a crowd of kids and dragons. Haru had said that Alan requested it and such it was an order to be followed. He couldn't defy them, but... was he really suited for this?
Negotiating, that's what it was about. But it was he andhis dragon that needed to help. The boy glanced briefly at the black beside him, it's mouth still kept shut by the muzzle kept on him. Flower was giong to help with this somehow? He didn't see the dragon being a very good negotiating. About as good as he'd be. Still, that was what they wanted.
Nudging his boot slightly into the ground just briefly the raven took a deep breath before lifting his head to glance once more at the group. He'd walked as slo as he could in getting here, there was no more delaying it. He'd just have to hope for the best. Maybe his brother was here afterall, Keivlos would know what to do.
The black hissed slightly as the pair began to edge up closer to the group, the dragon attempting to snap it's mouth a bit while held back by the straps of the muzzle. He didn't want them thinking he was just some little pipsqueak, even if he was young. The black only paused momentarily upon noting another of it's breed in the group. Interesting, but more a threat than anything. It wasn't too much larger, but still older than he. If anything it might see that it had a right to be in charge. what nonsense that would be. The dragon hissed again as he slunk along a bit before the pink adorned bird. What a bother.
Revon continued walking slowly, glancing over the group as best he could while not meeting anyone's eyes. He didn't really know anyone save for... he spotted the brightly coloured bird among them. He'd met her once before while shopping. A small smile managed to make it's way along his face. "Cleo..!" It was a quiet exclaimation, but one that caught the dragon's attention. Especially when the previously depressed bird sprung forward to jog over and see the other girl. "H-hi!" The stutter re-emerged a bit as he realized that he was in something of a large group now without his brother. Still, he had to make due, there wasn't much else to it. "How h-have you been?"

Cody smirked, slamming the phone back down on the charger. He knew it! They weren't training for nothing. They were needed! And by the big man himself. The bull boy charged for his room, throwing the door open with a loud bang as he rushed for his closet. Winter had already gone through his room in her usual clean sweep of the house. It didn't matter, he knew where everything was.
Tex snorted as he lifted his head up from Cody's bed, grunting a bit. He never liked being woken.
"They're needin' us Tex. 'bout time they recognized our talent." He grinned over to the dragon, pulling on a large belt with a pair of pellet guns and a few tubes of ammo. Yeah they were just pellets, but...well maybe they could put out a few eyes. "We'd better scoot a'fore Keanu catches wind of all the excitement. Ya know he'll be all over it."
Tex grumbled, slowly slinking down onto the ground, stretching himself out like an over-grown cat.
Both Cody and Tex stomped towards the front door. Edan peeked out of his room sheepishly, frowning a bit.
"Uh... Cody where are you going?" He stepped out into the hallway, folding his arms in front of him, "Winter told you-"
"Alan called me himself." Cody lifted his head with a defiant snort in his brother's direction, "'S why I'm here afterall. If there's trouble an' they call me then by tarnation I'll be goin'."
He reached over and snatched his hat from the hat rack, fitting it over his horns. "Tell Winter."
"Cody I must insist that-"
"ADIOS EDAN!" Cody shoved Tex out the door, slamming it after himself. "Kid's gotta grow a backbone..." He rolled his eyes, charging down the sidewalk.
Tex grunted after him, loping to keep up to pace with the boy.
"Now don't'cha be takin' his side... Ya know I'm right."
Tex only grumbled, speeding up a bit to get himself to Cody's side. Eventually the pair neared the parking lot, already there was quite a cluster of kids and their dragons. It was a bit disappointing that he wasn't exclusively called on the 'mission'. However, his expression brightened at a familiar fuzzy patch of white and black spots.
"Aaaayeeee Keanu!" He waved his hand up in the air, charging right for the leopard boy. He fully intended on tackling the boy, testing his reaction against it. Keanu knew better than to let down his charge.
Tex ran behind him but had no intention of pulling a similar stunt with the large silver hybrid at Keanu's side.

It was soley the fact that Ellie had smelled other dragons that they had even made it to where the gathering was, she'd not heard where they were going to. As it was Valens had spoke with the one on the other line and gotten the directions to the meeting point. As much as she loved him Ellie knew that it wasn't as if he knew Left from North so they had been, as per usual where the horse was involved, very, VERY lost....
They were lucky though she caught wind of not one but many others so she had promptly grabbed him by the hand and led him towards were they were all gathered too.
Hopefully they were to late...
Upon reaching their desination Ellie gave a very unladylike sigh of relief and promptly sat down on the ground to look around and take note of who all was here. She reconized only another Silver who she'd met in the class that Valens had taken.
Valens only recognized two people here himself and that was Zyanya and Phil. He found himself drifting towards Phil and he had spoken with the skunk most recently and on a couple of occasions, "HEY! Phil!" He said in a loud voice and waved as he got close to him.
Ellie gave a little sighing sound again before following after her boy.

"Ma!! Gods woman, move faster! Even Vince is all ready, c'mon c'mon ma let's goooo, we've got a call from D-corp!" He swatted away the dragon as Vince bumped Roule indignantly, as if offended that the weasel had just called him slow.
Nev grunted in reply, shoving things in her purse in a hurry. Just how many more years until he was able to drive? Then she wouldn't be ushered to her car and be prompted directions to D-corp where she had visited multiple times already. She started the beaten up chevy with a sigh - half in angst and the other in anxiety.
"Okay Rouley, keep your hair on! We're going, we're going!"
"LEFT, WOMAN, IT'S LEFT! WHY DID YOU TURN RIGHT? WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE - "
"It's a shortcut, mia vita, now put your seatbelt on! Stop flailing around! Vince is getting excited too and he rocks the car. You silly drakeling - you guys are way too much to handle..." She continued to mumble darkly until they approached the large building that was the headquarters.
"Roule, you have my phone number, yes? Call me if you're in trouble - oh, Vince don't do that to his hair!" The woman fretted anxiously as her child stumbled out of the car, frowning.
"I'll be alright, woman, now drive! I'll call you if I need a pickup or something." The boy could hardly keep his excitement down and did a small jig on the spot before throwing his arms around the white dragon, making Vince scowl and swat him away like a bug.
Nev drove off and tried not to look back, her knuckles white. An emergency? Damnit, she wanted to turn back! He was going to get in trouble, she knew it, even if Alan had stated otherwise.
As the pair approached the parking lot, there seemed to be bustles already. The weasel blinked slowly, trying to take everything in. So.. many.. people. Most of them he didn't know, either. There were so many dragons - almost like a rainbow.
The white dragon did not take to the situation well either, and merely grumbled as he loped along next to the boy. Dragons were all fair and well, but he never did like some of them. Some of them were much larger than him too - something he never liked. What was this all about? First he was crammed into a car and now Roule was getting rather happy-skippy which was something uh, odd, to be frank. He didn't like it very much.
Roule sighed and looked around. He didn't really know that many people - some he had seen briefly at outings but overall.. interaction was a little dim on his side for a while.

Through boxes and furniture, a feline tampered and tumbled, getting caught here and there, while still attempting to accomplish a small given task. "These things need to be moved." Yin hissed, shoving at a large stack of boxes. But quickly giving up, she sighed heavily, leaning up against another stack, or was it a wall? "This is insane..." She complained to herself, and with in a moment she stopped, hearing a strange, alien sound. But the she realized, "Ephrem must have been chewing on the phone again." Her posture sunk and her expression became sour. "Changed the ringer...SAHRA. Go get the phone." She wasn't about to attempt to get out of this mess.
"Huh? Oh fine." Oh how Yin had been wrong, she had been standing only a few stacks of boxes away from her this whole time. She definitely needed to get a hobby, or a friend, instead of talking to herself all the time. Sahra rose from a crouching position, she had been carefully packing away some of her mothers priceless delicates, wrapping them up amusedly in bubble wrap.
By the time she got to the phone, Ephrem had it in the grip of his teeth, ready to silence the annoying object that had stirred him from his sleep. "Re don't!" She spoke through grit teeth, fingers immediately reaching out to meet the object in her partners mouth. "This might be important!"
"Who cares," The lindworm snarled, clawing at the floor angrily as the noisy 'prey item' was ripped from his grasp. "It's annoying and I was trying to sleep, so it deserved what it got." He slithered off in the opposite direction, satisfied that he had at least tormented this noisy creature enough to silence it, surely, hopefully...
"Call's already gone. But..." There was a message. She listened intently, in perfect silence and stature for a moment or three, before shouting, "Come on Re!"
---
It had been a long ride from home. Ephrem had never stopped fidgeting, twisting and turning the whole ride there. He was already far to large to be riding in the car, yet, they managed to fit him in there somehow each and every time.
"Well bye." Speaking blankly, with out recognition of Yin, Sahra hoped out of the vehicle, running to the side doors hastily to allow Ephrem out of his prison. "I'm sorry Re..." She mewed apologetically, she really hated confining him to small places, it made her feel bad. But he didn't seem especially shaken, thank god.
"Hm?" Ephrem looked upward, atomically scanning the parking lot of the large D-Corp building they had become so used to. "There is a lot of people over there." He motioned towards the large and growing group of children and dragons. "Head over?" He grumbled, annoyed at the thought of being caught up in a crowd. He hated excess dragons, especially.
"Come on Re," She encouraged with a purr, "It'll be fine. Just don't pay attention to anyone, okay? Daze off like you normally do."
The pair looked at each other for a moment, before tip toeing over the large group of various creatures. This was going to be a real, um, adventure? Surely, with all these people. All she could hope for would be for Re to behave himself.

As the group grew larger and larger, Alan slipped off and picked up his black phone, punching some numbers before putting it up to his ear. After a few moments, the crippled man rolled his wheelchair towards the entrance and headed inside.
Peri's portable phone rang as he and the techs continued to try and hold off what appeared to be an epic battle brewing amongst the dragons. "Perilas here," the man answered. He listened to the other end, then quickly started for the bridge to the main D-corp building, walking briskly along the hallway.
Once the elevator hit the ground floor, he nodded to Alan, who was heading back up. The boss muttered something and pointed to the entrance doors, where Peri could see a large group of children and dragons waiting. He walked outside, quickly striding towards the group.
"Okay everyone, listen up!" His voice was raised enough to catch the attention of the group. Once the kids were mostly silent, he continued on. "You've been called here to help us. The dragons, the parents of the dragons that are with you right now, are... rebelling. You're here to convince the adult dragons to stay." The man glanced apprehensively over his shoulder. "That's really about it. No time for questions here, you can ask them as we head to the dragon stables." With that, the man waved for the group to follow him and headed for the elevator, pushing the button. A quick glance told him that it would take more than one elevator ride to get them up to the bridge. "Head for the sixth floor," he announced as the first elevator arrived and he got on, waiting for it to fill up before pushing the button and the elevator rose.
((Okay, everyone, remember to re-read the OOC post about the posting order. You get 48 hrs to post before you're skipped. I'll keep a posting order thing in the main thread like with the conference.
Once it's your turn, you get on the elevator and head up to the sixth floor where Peri directs you to the dragon stables. So, you can basically skip that and head your butts down the hallway.))

At first Anoki was worried. But soon the others started to arrive, and he slowly began to relax. If there were that many people there, surely somebody would do a better job than he would. And there were familiar faces too! Most noticeably Earako, who he waved to excitedly, but also Indi, Roule, the girl from the tree, that boy from battle class... Anoki tensed up momentarily, but before he could worry about it, the Dragon teacher started to speak.
And suddenly, there was something else to worry about.
"Dr-dragons? Big dr-dragons?" Anoki asked nervously. Myung-Ki was difficult enough, and some of the other kids dragons were even bigger! He hated to think what would happen if a grown-up dragon was rebelling. And the teacher did say dragons, plural. That had to be bad.
Not that there was anything he could do about it. With a resigned sigh, he let himself be pushed into an elevator, keeping a firm hold on Myung-Ki. He would try his best, and that was all they could really expect him to do. If he failed- more like when he failed- the others would fix things. It wasn't like it was a real emergency, or they wouldn't call kids. Right?

Chath had little time to really think, there were so many kids here with their dragons to boot. The fact he knew a good deal of them made this worrisome time a bit stressful. Spotting Lian he gave a wave eagerly. It had been so long since he had seen his best friend, spotting Ligeia immediately he gave him a hug, though was too shy to give him a kiss in front of so many comrades.
He gave wave to Del, heard Earako greet the crowd but he couldn't see the bat girl.
Then suddenly before he knew what was going on a man was talking informing them of a dragon rebellion. They were suppose to convince them to stay? Fully grown dragons? He looked down at Keir skeptically, he was stubborn enough he didnt want to meat his mother and father.... and then there was lots of pushing as they were hearded into the building he got seperated from Zyan who was sticking rather close to Ter, but he was sure she would be fine.
Suddenly he found himself up and out of the elevator he had been crammed in and going down a hallway, getting more and more nervous as they got to their destination. Convince dragons to stay...how were they suppose to do that? Keir seemed to not care about the events. He strode with his partner hackles raised at every other dragon aside from Vorel. Baroness he gave a low warning hiss growl at before they had moved on.
So they were meeting older dragons...he wasn't sure if he was pleased or annoyed with this. Older usually meant stronger, and he didn't like the idea of being defenseless.
Zyanya literally threw herself at Ter out of joy, thrilled to see he was here. Though she didn't care what others thought she refrained from the urge to make out with him and gave him a peck on the lips instead. This probably wasn't the best time or place for such things. There were a lot of people, it made her nervous and on edge, only feeling slightly better about everything since she was now close to Ter. Crowds bothered her, it felt like being surronded by many potential preditors.
Because she didn't reconize a lot of the people, only Cody, Ter, Tyven Nibal, Valens....her large eyes swept over the crowd of people passing...and then going back to a very familar siht. Nero. Gods, it had been ages since she had seen him! Her antenna perked in excitement. She wanted to go over and talk to him right this moment! But then the man who taught her dragon class was speaking. Dragons? rebellnig? Sounded interesting enough. Thought she doubted Hinder would be any help if things got rough.
Then she found herself being pushed, forced into the building and an elevator and then found herself in a long hallway. She could see her brother ahead, somewhat leading the tromping group. She found herself alone, where had Ter gone? Or Nero? She searched frantically for anyone to latch onto. She hated crowds. With a passion.

Ala waved at the few people she knew, realizing for the first time just how many kids there really were at D-corp. And these were just the older ones! The girl smiled as she saw the dragon teacher, then her smile slipped at what he had to say. The dragons were rebelling? Couldn't that be... dangerous? What were they supposed to do?!
Alaqua had no time to ask questions, though, as she was basically herded along with the rest of the crowd Cramming onto the elevator when she could and then directed down a hallway, the koala girl dreaded what she was going to come across at the end. These were bigger dragons than most she'd met... and especially bigger than Bob... With a gulp, Ala headed inside.
--------
Niki frowned as Alan backed off and soon disappeared as the number of kids grew. The woman saw the dragon teacher heading outside and ducked back out towards her car. She'd heard a few rumors about that man and she really didn't want him to see her. Even if he was busy...

Nibal gulped as his father headed out of the doors, ducking to hide behind some of the nearby kids. P'las had told him to stay put in the office, so the man would probably be mad to see him here, even if Alan had told the boy to come. Nibal's eyes widened as his father explained (if you could call it that) what was going on and then everyone was moving along inside. Nibal gulped, squeezing back to avoid getting on the elevator with Peri, but he couldn't avoid his father spotting him eventually.
"Nibal! I told you to stay upstairs!" Peri halted his son, earning a hiss from Kalseru.
Nibal frowned and tried to duck out and follow the other students. "But... the Boss told me to come. Said I was needed..." As his father loosened his grip upon hearing that, the frog boy slipped out of Peri's grasp and headed down the hallway, grinning at Kalseru.

Fleur's ears perked up when he heard his nickname called, a nickname which, thankfully, only one soul used for him. "Valens!" he replied, waving happily. "They called you too?" He looked to the dragon instructor when he arrived, listening intently to his announcement. A rebellion? Of dragons? How on earth could they help? They were just children! That did not mean the skunk was any less eager to help though - the feeling of being needed was overwhelming, and he liked it very much.
"Come on, before the elevator fills up!" The skunk grasped Valens' hand to scurry to the elevator with him, Argent right on his heels. He wished he had time to see if there was anyone else he knew here, but the curiosity of how he could help with a rebellion of dragons overrode his curiosity of the other children present. Fleur managed to squeeze into the elevator with just enough room for Valens beside him, and Argent had to squeeze in between Fleur's legs under his skirt to avoid her tail being caught in the elevator doors.

Relatively unconcerned with the rest of the group, Tyven's long strides and lean frame easily removed others from her path as she kept a firm grip on Cleo's wrist, leading both her older sister and their respective dragons into the elevator, allowing both her firm shoulder and Azucar's hisses to make room for them. She saw quite a few d-corp children she knew, at least from a distance, and accorded each of them a purple stare before exiting the elevator and beginning to move down the hall, par Perilas' instructions.
This would be interesting, to say the least. Dragons were magnificent creatures.

Ligeia's eyes were wide as Mr Coleman explained to the gathered children why they were here, the dragons were rebelling? He wondered what would bring on such a decision on their part but they were moving along so he didn't have a chance to ask it. The crowd was moving into the elevators to move to the sixth floor, he lost track of Ter who'd not stayed at his side when they were standing with the others but he was sure he'd find him agian when they got to their destination. He was rather small himself though Vorel was a big boy, older then a lot of the dragons here so to help make room in the already crowded elevator he crawled up onto his dragon's back and held on tight.
"Tight fit." Vorel said, amused enough. Then again there wasn't much that got him down being a rather simple minded creature. He looked up at his owl who was safely on his back and thought to himself that was where Ligeia should belong. While he wasn't the brightest crayon in the box he knew that a rebellion amongst bigger, more power dragons was dangerous. A danger that his fragile owl wasn't allowed to confront without him.
He was kind enough not to tell Ligeia what he thought of him as he didn't want to insult the boy he loved and that he knew loved him.
Ter looked around, tongue flicking out when he realized that Ligeia, Z, and the others he knew weren't right on hand. What a pain he had hoped to stay with his mantis. He slithered forward with one hand on Baroness' spines so that she had to stay with him. He may have lost the others but he wasn't going to lose her. Wouldn't be a very good partner if he let her wander off on her own. In a time of rebellion who knew what sort of trouble she would end up in, "Stay by my side Baroness." He told her, eyes locking with hers.
Baroness blinked up at him then gave him a nod, staying close. While yes she would like to meet a few more of the other dragons that were about especially that other Wyvern since she never met one of her own kind she decided it best to stay with her snake. For the moment at least...

"Yep, sounded rather interesting so I got here as quickly as I could." Which was actually faster then normal for the horse. He gave a toothy grin, "Didn't get as lost this time or anything."
Valens held on tightly to Fleur's hand when they started to move so that he didn't chance losing him in the crowd. Seeming to follow suit Ellie grabbed hold of the back of her boy's shirt with her mouth and followed along after him. She wasn't about to let him get lost without her... not to say that she wanted to get lost with him she just didn't want him leaving her sight.
She scooted her way into the elevator and lifted up onto her back feet putting the front ones on her boy's shoulders to keep from taking up to much room.
The horse lifted the hand that wasn't holding on to Fleur to pat her foot, "Hopefully it won't be to long a ride." He said reassuringly.
