"Huh!? No your smile is- its great. .. Well.. gr. You won't understand." Brings his eyes to hers. "Yea! I want to be alone! thats it! ... And you.. Well I guess you could come along.. and it doesn't give me discomfort or anything.. smile all yea want. Your not doing it wrong.. its nice.." Ears flop down as his fluffy tail wagged some.

Karis sat there swishing her tail back and forth as she watched the movement of his eyes with what he said and did. "Hmm.. Maybe you are just shy.. or.. not used to people wanting to spend time with you? Have you been treated badly by other Ulaya you knew before?" She scooted closer not leaving. She could tell despite his protesting that he was actually not bothered at all.
She then figured he came to help guard her at the tree because he was making an attempt to be sociable in his own way. He had gone halfway, and it was apparent to her that it wasn't an easy thing for him to do. It was, however, very easy for her. She was quite extrovertive and always willing to help others. "And.. it's ok if you don't always say everything just right. it doesn't have to be said perfect.. as long as it's honest and what you mean. and... I would love to understand.. maybe you can help me try?"

"I aint shy ok! Tis I havent meet a lot of of our kind yea know. Its pretty.. weird I guess. And no! No one could treat me badly because im strong! And I train a lot! " Huffs some but when she gets closer he leans a little away. That got him nervous. "Why are you even staying here. Son't you have other things to do? You like climbin and stuff. And You are pretty good at it. Except fo fallin." Blinks at her blue eyes with his.

She sat up straight giving him a little bit of breathing space. It wasn't a lot, but she felt it was enough. "I'm staying because I am trying to get to know you. I want to understand you. I haven't met any of our kind before you, so we're even then."
She did suppose perhaps it was a little weird. She was being a little tough and not letting him take the easy way out of just getting rid of her. She just kept getting the feeling that part of him wanted her to stay. She felt more inclined to make that part of him happy.
"you know... being strong has nothing to do with how others treat you. You can be as strong as you want. Bad treatment isn't always violence. There are many ways for people to make another feel bad or awkward.. and repeatedly to a point where they lose their gumption to talk to or hope for friends. That's all I was saying. I just think.. maybe you need one.. and, I'll be your friend. Unless of course... you don't want me." She looked away with a sneaky smile in her eyes and face.

When she gave him space it was a lil better but a lil worse. Not really understanding what he was feeling at the moment.
"Huh? .. shoot. If they piss you off yea hit'em! Well except if they're a girl. Cants hit a girl. Its against everything but ..nauh.. I got no hope. I..I aint really that social alright."
"I Aint need a friend! ... no no that doesn't me I want you its liek I do but er..GAUH! This is so weird. Wait I didn't mean it like" He gave a sigh. It wasnt his thing. The more he talked the more he kept being confused.

Karis sat there fluffing her tail happily as she started beaming. Her eyes lit up and very happy. "yay.. how nice to make a friend then. Did I mention my name is Karis? See how easy it is when you don't resist the natural flow of things." She stetched out looking for a comfy place to lounge around at.

"Sorta I guess so.. Names Carnage. Human told me she got it from the symbols on my stomach." Lays down and rolls on to his side to show her. "See. I guess she is just weird in the head." He shrugged some and laid his head on a rock.
He examined her 'happiness' ... it made her look.. cute. Well in his mind. Made him kinda happy but then that rush came back to his head as he looked away from her. Too lucky his fur was red.

Karis grinned as he started to calm down a bit and just relax. She always did like getting along with others, not that she got enough chance to do so. She looked as he rolled on his side. "Oh... that's almost the same color as the fur on my tail." She rolled the back half of her body around to stick her tail up. "See..."
Then, she rolled on her stomach, and she crawled through the grass a little, lying low like a tiger. "It's nice to meet you Carnage. Does this mean the next time you see me... that you will be like. 'Hello Karis!'" She then relaxed her rear legs down to the ground, feeling the urge to keep moving closer even though she didn't want to alarm him by invading his personal space.

"I guess. You.. have preeeet.. er.. pretttty nice er I mean weird markings. Or whatever.." He patted lightly the ground with his ear some. From it twitching.
".. i guess. If yea want me to say that I will. The next time.. yea know.. when we see each other.. and most likely you'll do that to me if yea see me first right."

Karis carefully crawled through the grass till she was laying not far from his head with her own head, but far enough so her body wouldn't make him feel trapped. "of course I will! If you get to where you feel comfortable enough with me. Maybe I'd probably hug you on sight."
She rubbed her paws on her sides. "Yeah. My fur is pretty simple. I don't have as elaborate or special markings like a lot of the others of our kind. But, that's ok I guess. I am just me after all. Can't be noone else, right?"

"Your are just fine yea know! You don't have to look at others because their are stupid anyway! Yours are just fine!" He huffed and leaned his head up a little while saying so. "Hug me!? Why would you hug me!?" He retorted his head back a lil. Surprised.

She just continued looking at him the same as she had been. "Well, because that's the way to greet a friend.. isn't it? Well, I hope one day I have lots of friends. ..and most of them will want to come and hug me upon seeing me... that'd make me happy..." She laid there flopping her tail against the ground.

"How.. how about if they can't.. or.. would that mean you would hug them?" He tried not to seem so confusing.. lots of others liked hugs he supposed but giving them is so much harder in thought than doing it. His tail fluffed some; flapping around.
His hine leg twitched some with a kind one. He didn't reject her coming so close though. Didn't seem to bother him none.

"Well, if I had a friend who couldn't hug because of an inability to. I suppose I'd be helping that friend out enough they wouldn't need to. I like helping people who can't do a lot for themselves. Like.. if they are blind.. or have broken bones or whatever. And, yeah... I would totally hug them. Hugs are the best ever."
Karis rolled over to her side, half sitting up to pick grass and dirt out of her tail, being rather girly and feminine and liking to be clean. She smiled to herself. He was remaining calm and not getting upset since she scooted closer.

"Well... I.. I guess the friend. Might like that too.. if they cant give yea one. yea know? I guess. Or if yea asked for it but you came seem to over wanting like others.. but I guess you could ask from time to time yea know." He tried a smile and that didn't work he just looked to the side away from her. His fur being perfect to hide blush and he did. Pawing slightly at his cheek and sighing.
It wasn't so uncomfortable having her close. Didn't both him at all and he thought maybe. Just maybe it was nice to have someone around... but his mind didnt get himself in to dept like that.
