I used to have a Digitech BP - 200, but the pedal stopped working, so all the effects I used with it went out.

It's a damn shame, thing was amazing.

ZacTheOneAndOnly
my setup is

Bass>>Boss Bass Overdrive>>Boss Bass Chorus>>Amp

originally i put the chorus last cos it has dual outputs, (mono/stereo)

but then i learned that different orders make things sound completely different

so i changed the pedals around

and i really didnt like the sound

with overdrive to chorus you get a clear growl with a little chorusy thing over it which sounds really good and thickens alot of stuff up (i play in power trios or with one guitar preferably)

and with the chorus on first, it was all good untill the overdrive came on, it was like, an overdriven chorus, the distortion was mixed with the chorus, so like, it wasnt a clean overdrive sound, i didnt like it, it was sloppy and dull and eew...

I didn't like the Boss Bass Overdrive much.

heh heh

yeh the Boss Bass Overdrive is more for

rocky blues

and it gets the job done there decently

my guitarist has a Boss Heavy Metal pedal from the 80's

put my bass through that

sounded amazing!

so, i'm gonna look at getting a different Overdrive for it

but, i'm in no hurry

the Bass Overdrive gets the job done

and sounds wicked with the Chorus on top of it

plus i want a Electro Harmonix Mini Q

cool

I have a BP120 effects processor (same as BP80 but has an expression pedal), a crappy flanger pedal someone gave me that I never use. Soon I'll have a SansAmp 3-Channel Bass Driver DI so that I can have 3 different tones programmed at my toes lol. For the most part though I just mess around with the effects... I don't use them that much at all. The Sans Amp Bass Driver should come in real handy though. About the only thing I would want now is a good overdrive/distortion pedal.

I have a DigiTech effects pedal... My favorite effect when I'm just messing around would probably have to be the one where it makes your bass lines sound like something out of a porno xD
I always like a little distortion now and then, especially when I'm playing DFA 1979.

i use effects every now and then.

for my birthday i got this goofy multi effects petal I think its the boss me - 50 b or something

On my fender fretless I like to use chorus ( not too much). Makes give's it an almost ethereal sound. Or bottem boost is fun.

I play through a Line 6 LD300 pro so I just use the effects on that. I have to say I favor the R&B amp model along with the brit

I play Metal most of the time, so I rarely use effects. If I do want a sharp edged sound, I'll boost the Gain and mid/high on the amp.

Whenever I pop out some serious Funk, I do like to use a LOT of Overdrive. Octavers are a lot of fun as well. Haven't much experience with other effects, though I do plan on buying a bass synth and a Wah-pedal.

For myself I have a:

Dunlop JH-1B Jimi Hendrix signature wah
Boss DS-2 turbo distortion
Boss PS-5 Phase shifter (I use the octave and attack delay functions)

Ill add more later when I get more money.

P.S. Anyone ever used a talk box with their bass?
