Favorite animal: Well alright this is tricky I must say, but I'd have to say a cute (some times sweatdrop ) bear.
Why?:They are cuirious (sp) about everything and yet can be the most dominate and feared species in some areas. Yet when you see them at some points you just want to run up to them and cuddle with 'em. Now if something so feared and respected can make you want to give it a big ol' hug that is something you don't see many animals pulling off.
Favorite insect: Well the dragonfly and the praying mantis
Why?: Well the dragonfly is just so glittery and zipping this way and that, it makes you stop for a moment and watch it, or well... chase after it. The pray matis is just a memory I guess, when I was little I loved them and used to catch them and they'd crawl all over my hands, it was fun and well they're quite beautiful and surprisingly swift and strong
Favorite flower: oh gosh this is difficult... I'd say the lilie (the orange kind)
Why?: well there was a huge bunch that grew near by and well they're just beautiful and striking. I find them wonderful and they last for a long time, which is nice so you get to enjoy them for a long time
Favorite tree: The weeping willow
Why?: Well they're the strangest trees (in my area anyway) with long tendrils of leavey goodness. And how they blow in the wind and well, they're just the most wonderful trees, and I find them so pure and stuff.^^

There's a willow next to my house, and recently we had a rain storm. I (loving rain and storms and thunder and wind xd ) was running around outside and it was so cool to watch the wind blowing the willow's branches. heart

rikuHEART There's a willow next to my house, and recently we had a rain storm. I (loving rain and storms and thunder and wind xd ) was running around outside and it was so cool to watch the wind blowing the willow's branches. heart Awww... your so lucky sadly we only have lots of pines and maples heres ;_;

Well we have a ton of birches, evergreens, and maples here too...Which are all still just as awesome. biggrin

My favorite animal is the wolf, because it relates so much to me. They're beautiful (though I am not as beautiful as they are) and well I feel connected to wolves the most. I'm not sure how many of you actually believe in reincarnation but I am a strong believer an I believe I've actually ben reincarnated by a wolf because I know so much without even looking up on them. But yes... an interesting explaination of why... I can't think of how to describe it other than that so yeah.
I do not have a favorite Insect... personally they freak me out and I run when I see them sweatdrop especially spiders... though I would have a tarantula for a pet...
Favorite Flower... well that's a toughy most are so beautiful but my fave is the black rose. I don't have much of an explaination as to why as well.

There's actually an ancient myth that states that Humans were once Wolves themselves. ^_^ And from what I know, Black Roses only exist when they are put in black dye mixed in with water. ^_^;;

To wolves: Yeah I hope so.... really I believe I remember some of my time as a wolf... I have many dreams of running through forests and I think that's why I enjoy walking in nature as well. It's so beautiful and peaceful, I don't see why anyone would want to ruin such a thing.

Favorite animal: There are way too many... I think my favorite is the magpie. It's beautiful and intelligent (family corvidae [not sure on spelling] are the most intelligent birds-crows, ravens, etc.) I really don't see why so many people in my area hate them...
Mammal-wise, it'd probably be the snow leopard... those creatures of the Himalayas. They're awesomely awesome and have adapted very well to their habitat.
Favorite insect: erm... I don't know if I have a favorite... beetles are pretty neat, after all, they are pretty diverse...
Favorite flower: magnolias (that could also count as a tree, I suppose) They're large and lovely...
Favorite tree: Willow. They're beautiful, leafy, weepy, and have many purposes... medicinal and craftwise.

Favorite Animal: I have to pick just one? hmm... I'll have to go with Dolphin.
Why: Because they are amazingly intelligent, graceful, and very playful. I think Dolphins have figured out the meaning of life, and would probably tell us if we would listen. Either that or they've been trying to warn us about the earth's imminent destruction for hundreds of years, but we're too full of ourselves to listen...
Interesting Fact: Dolphins are the only animal, besides humans, that have sex for pleasure.
Other Favorite animal: Horse
Why: Because I can't deny that I am an obsessive Compulsive Equine Addict. biggrin
More: I also love wolves, any kind of feline, but especially the big ones. smile Komodo Dragons are really interesting, I like birds, frogs, elephants... yeah, a lot of things. We'll just go with that.
Favorite Insect: I'd have to say Dragonflies
Why: They just fascinate me, I guess. I could sit and watch them for hours.
Favorite Flower: Rose
Why: I know it's a bit Cliche, but I love red roses. I just believe that they are so gorgeous, and a perfect symbol for love. The beauty of the bloom, but at the same time the thorns on the stem.
Favorite Tree: Douglas Fir.
Why: They're the state tree of Oregon, and we have them everywhere back home. I planted one for earth day once, but it died after a few weeks. sad Probably didn't pick the best spot for it. Anyway, they remind me of home.
Also: Whatever the trees are that are all over my campus. They're deciduous, fairly short, and have a pretty shallow root system, from the looks of it. I don't know what they are, but they're very comforting. If there's no one else around, and I'm standing outside my dorm waiting for my friends to meet me to walk to class or practice together, I'll just stand there and talk to them. I like talking to trees, most people think I'm nuts, but there's a lot that you can learn from them.

(Like now, I should be sleeping, it's almost 2 am, and I have a class at 9:00. Philosophy, no less. But I'm not. I don't know why.)
