Yeah, I saw all the videos with the two of them, but I distinctly remember while I was playing the game that they revealed their relation. I thought through the entire game that they were a good couple until I saw some scene where they said that. Perhaps I misinterpreted it...

Shard Aerliss Narcsissa Kairi_12 But...wasn't Lucrecia Vincent's mom? Isn't that what they said in the game? She gave birth to Sephiroth. Not Vincent... And before anyone else throws it in; Vincent is not Sephiroth's father. Hiro Tenshi I hope Lucrecia loved Vincent, they are so right for each other Are they? Vincent may be the son of a scientist but he's not exactly a deep thinker... unless you count brooding. Lucrecia had a powerful mind. Were they really that compatible? Can you imagine the conversation on long winter nights by the fire? Lucrecia talking about her theories and Vincent just blanking while he polishes his gun. No, Vincent would pay attention scream

No, Vincent would pay attention scream If he could grasp the concepts that she was talking about... doubt he'd have much to offer in the way of reply though. Or am I being too harsh on one the Turks?

Let's see...I remember it was towards the end...I think it was when you're outside fighting a boss in that construction site and when you beat the boss, you have to go into the storage container...that, or near the part where you're on that elevator thing and you have to shoot at the cameras all the way up...
God...I can't remember... xp

Great, now you got me reading the game script razz Quote: You had his eyes. I didn't... I didn't want to remember. I pushed you away, but... Now I realize... I never wanted to lose you. Not again. Not today. Vincent, did you know that your eyes are exactly like your father's? I wonder if she had feelings for his father. Maybe it was this that confused you: Quote: Lucrecia: I've done it. Born of the Lifestream. Bringing all together. Stopping the imminent decay of tissue. But instead... born was... the chaos that took him... away from me. *LUCRECIA STARTS SLAMMING IN THE REGENERATION TUBE WHERE VINCENT WAS* Lucrecia: Stop... Stop! *SHE SEES THE MATERIA* Lucrecia: This... The materia... I found... We found together. No! What am I doing? *LUCRECIA SHAKES HOJO* Lucrecia: Give him back! Give my son back! Hojo: And how is your experiment proceeding? Lucrecia: I don't know! I don't care! Let me see him! Just once! I'm so sorry. I can't... I'm sorry. I can't take it anymore. My body... My mind... Before I go... This might shed some light on if she actually loved him... well maybe: Quote: Lucrecia: Jenova's cells... Vincent... Stored as data... Must leave... Thought... I loved... Record.. Memory copy... For him... It was wrong... Wait... Disperse... ...so sorry... Apply... ...but I... For... Fragment... Survive... Hope... who...? "I loved"? Loved Vincent? Quote: I finally... I finally realized my true feelings. Even if you may never understand them. Not that I mind, though. But... This isn't how it was supposed to be. I've made too many mistakes. And I've hurt you so, so much. Why did I do what I did? I'm so sorry. But I'm so happy you survived. "Even if you may never understand them"? What? What's so difficult to understand if she loves him? So, she doesn't? Is that what she is saying? She doesn't love him but she never meant to hurt him? lol, Vincent's line about that made me laugh: Quote: Vincent: She... She was always like that. Only believing what she wanted to. Poor guy.

Oh yeah!! It was that line! The one where Lucrecia says "Give my son back!" Did she mean something else by it?
Oh. and I'm sorry you had to look up the script. I feel bad... sweatdrop Do you, by any chance, do you remember where that scene was with Lucrecia and Hojo?

I think you're right about where it is; in the lift... though I could be totally wrong. It might be one of the ones in the Mansion.
She's talking about Sephiroth.

Personally I don't know if Lucrecia said she loved Vincent and I don't really care; you know why? Because if she really loved him then she wouldn't have stabbed him in the back like she did. I don't care what kind of excuses people come up with for her stupidity, the fact of the mater is- if she loved Vincent at all she wouldn't have done such horrible things to him. Thats the bottom line.

And his stupidity? I generally view Vincent as being the bigger culprit... aside from Hojo. Ah, Gaia without Hojo, how different it would have been.
Beside's; love, fear and guilt are funny emotions, they make people do wierd things, especially when you throw them together.
