The striped stallion watched as his daughter hopped over to the tree he was standing under and began and start looking for something. He wasn't sure what it was, perhaps it had to do with that feather she had asked a herdmate for. Whatever it was, he shrugged and looked back to the other who had introduced himself as Sibalto. "Nice to meet you Sibalto. I'm Tohopka. I thank you for your compliment."

"Well met Tohopka, and you are most welcome." Sibalto offered with a smile. "She has been a most entertaining companion of mine for the better part of the afternoon... I thank her for that..."
At this he turned and bowed to the filly. "You have my gratitude, Lady Juliet."

"I'm glad to hear that she hasn't been a bother to you." Tohopka replied, tail flicking lightly. He glanced back to his daughter, watching her nose through some leaves, only to look back up with a snort. With a shake of his head, once again, his attention was returned to the other stallion. "I must thank you for watching over her while she was away."
Juliet was quite disappointed. This tree didn't have anything of interest under it, which had caused the snort. Hearing her name though, she quickly lost interest and looked to the one who had called it. Seeing it was Sibalto, she smiled, though tilted her head. "May I ask for the reason?"

"She was no trouble at all, a joy." Sibalto murmured. "I was all too happy to meet her..."
He glanced at the filly and smiled. "For keeping company with me for the day, Juliet... My lady was unable to accompany me today, so to find you in the woods was a double boon. I fear without you my afternoon would have been dreadfully dull... "

Juliet saw her father back up slightly from the corner of her eyes. She guessed that he didn't want to get in the way of their conversation. At his words, she bowed to him once again. "In that case, you are very welcome Sir Sibalto." Upon hearing about his 'other half' she let out a dreamy sigh. "So you found yourself a damsel? That sounds so romantic."

Sibalto glanced at the stallion, wondering if Tohopka was surprised to hear his filly was so dreamy about love at such a young age. He glanced back to Juliet, not wishing to seem rude.
"Aye, I have found a Lady and pledged to live the rest of my life with her." He offered in a gentle voice. "We stumbled across each other's company in the woods, and have spent much of out time together since... It was some time before I had the courage to ask, but Firefly consented to spend her days with me... And I have known no greater joy since.."

Tohopka didn't really notice Sibalto's glance as he eyed his daughter for a moment. It wasn't that much of a big deal to him that she already seemed to have a big attraction to love. She was still a foal so he didn't have much to worry about, it was when she was older and actually started to attract male attention was when he had to keep a better eye on her.
The young filly's tail swished slowly side to side as she listened to Sibalto's story on how he met his mate. Once he was done, she sighed once again. "You must have swept her off her hooves. Like her Prince Charming, huh?"

Sibalto smiled and nuzzled her gently. "I have been called Prince Charming by a few ladies, but never my Firefly.. Perhaps I shall introduce you to her one day and you can ask her if she thinks of me as her Prince, hmm? I could not tell you for sure..."

Juliet chuffled softly and returned the nuzzle the stallion gave her. His words about his mate made her heart beat faster and she hoped she would someday meet her 'Prince Charming'. Of course, it will be when she was older, no one would be interested in this damsel since she was so young. "I would love to meet your Lady. She sounds like a true Princess."

Sibalto smiled and winked at her, ducking his head to whisper in her ear. "I think she is my Princess, if that helps at all... But I think every mare is a princess, searching for her prince."
He nuzzled her. "And I wish you all the best in finding your Prince Charming, Princess Juliet."

She listened closely as he whispered into her ear. This was just like a dream come true for her... except, it was someone else rather than her exactly. "How true you are Sir Sibalto." She chimed, giving him a small nuzzle back. When he wished her luck, she once again expressed her gratitude via a bow. "I thank you kindly. If I do find him, you will be the first to know... other than my family of course."

Sibalto chuckled, suddenly feeling like an adopted uncle of sorts. Somehow, he had the feeling that he would know when Juliet found her Prince, and the idea that she would be in loe made him smile.. He liked others to be happy... And this little princess deserved it.
"I thank you for including me Little Princess... I would be delighted to hear of you and your Prince..."

The foal high-stepped happily around Sibalto once again. She had the impression that adult horses would simply look down upon her and find her ideas foolish, but he had proved her wrong. She carefully weaved between his legs before ending up standing in front of him once again. "I hope I don't sound like a pest, but do you think I will get to see your Princess soon?"

Arching a brow, he watched the little filly stride around, glancing to her sire for a moment. The question made him want to ask the stallion if he minded.... But, he wasn't sure how to be polite to Juliet while still being concerned over Tohopka's rules, if there were any...
Sibalto smiled. "I'll go in search of her and bring her to see you as soon as I can, if that is what you wish my Little Lady... I am sure Firefly would be delighted to meet you..."

Tohopka had stood back to let the two converse. He had no problem with his daughter meeting others, both young and old; it gave her new experiences and it wouldn't leave her unsocialized... though it was evident enough that she wouldn't have a problem with manners. As with before, he glanced up to her every now and again, this time, catching the eye of Sibalto. "Is something wrong?" He asked, taking a few steps to them.
Juliet giggled giddily when Sibalto stated that he would bring his mate to come see her as soon as it was possible. She paused when she heard her father's voice though, looking up to the tall stallion as he spoke. Her attention moved back to Sibalto when the question was asked, curious as to what his answer would be.
