Ocean quirked a brow and had a huge smile on her face. Evelyn as well.
"Lavi!" Ocean called to an old friend before waving to her with one arm.
"It's me! Ocean! It's been awhile."
Evelyn had a toothy grin on her face, "I didn't know Lavi was your mommy," she stated looking to the side to Ayame.

Lavi took a moment to stare in confusion before recognising Ocean, and the other she assumed to be the now grown Evelyn.
"Ocean! Last I saw you Evelyn was but a reverie! She's grown!"
She bite her lip slightly before looking down at Evelyn,
"Well aren't you just a beautiful young lady now?"
Ayame looked over at Evelyn, slightly confused, "Didn't I? Well...she is...why?" The familiarity between them had her little mind going in circles as she tried to make head from tails of what was happening.

Evelyn giggled, "Hello! It's nice to see you again! And Ayame, we knew Lavi back when she was Mere's mommy." X3
Ocean smiled, "I see you're taking care of Ayame. That's great!"
Ocean couldn't remember when she was ever this excited. She saw Mere awhile ago, and now Lavi!
"It's good to know you've gotten back into the hang of things," she stated with a smile."

Ayame couldn't remember what had occured the night long ago, on halloween, when lavi had broken down in tears in front of mere, and now...huh?
"Mere? who is mere?" She glanced up at Lavi with a confused look in her eyes then back at Evelyn, "Was?" Lavi wasn't going to stop being her mommy...was she? She turned her glance to Ocean, the only neutral feeling party nearby who seemed to know what was happening.
Lavi bit her lip as Ayame looked up at her, how would she explain that....she hadn't planned on even telling Ayame yet... As Ocean spoke her attention fell back to her, slightly.
"It's...been a long road...I miss Mere but, i'm so glad to have Ayame, she's the most wonderful thing to have happened to me after...after what happened..." She sighed but knew what had happened had been for the best. Mere had found a new home easily, and Ayame would have vanished if she hadn't come back when she did. "I won't let Ayame down like I did mere...I just couldn't. She's grown on me so much...I don't know what i'd be doing without her.

Ocean placed a hand on Lavi's shoulder, "I know. You're a very well fit mother. You just couldn't prevent what was happening at the time."
Evelyn had turned and gave a sideways glance at Ayame, "Don't worry Ayame. Lavi's a great mommy. And from the looks of it she loves you lots." heart
"You should come over to play sometime. That way mommy and Lavi can catch up. It'll be fun!"

Lavi sighed and looked over at the toddler's, care in her eyes. It...truly was a blessing to have Ayame. Ocean was right, but she wasn't willing to admit it, still sunk in her guilt as it was from before Ayame and found her. "Yes...you're right Ocean. Without Ayame...I don't know where i'd be..." She tried not to think of what might have become of her had the glowing cherub of a daughter beside her not come when she had.
Despite Evelyn's words, Ayame still felt perplexed. Why wasn't anyone making it understandable to her... With a short nod she pushed the feelings of animosity to the back of her mind and tried to get her mind on the suggestion Evelyn had put forward. "Should we ask now? Lavi...she say's...mommy say's to ask about that first, would your mommy let me?"

Evelyn pondered and tugged at Ocean's pant leg. The 5'7" woman looked down at her, "Yes sweetie?"
"Mommy can Ayame come over to play?" Evelyn asked with honey dripping from her voice and big lavender eyes.
Ocean gave her a look and tilted her head, "Well it's fine with me but you'll have to ask Laaaviii..."
Evelyn smiled and tugged on Lavi's pant leg, "Lavi?"

Lavi smiled down at Evelyn and nodded. "It would be just fine with me, indeed!" Lavi looked up at ocean and giggled, offering her a grin of amusement. She would have to tell her later how important this would actually be for Ayame.
Ayame looked on with glee as the two mothers agreed to Evelyn's request. She looked back and forth between Ocean and Lavi as she uttered, "When? When?" the excitement in her voice was obvious, and she was practically hopping with the energy of it. She shot a glance to Evelyn to share her enthusiasm, glad that the girl had asked.

Ocean pondered on a bit before thinking, "Well we do need to visit mom after this so.. Hmm..."
Evelyn eagerly stared at her mommy and at Ayame, praying she could see play with her some time soon.
"How's next weekend sound?"
Evelyn could barely contain herself and she spun around, her dress flaring up a bit before she looked up at Lavi, anticipating a response.

Lavi smiled down at Evelyn then looked back at Ocean, "That would work fine, though monday we have another session with Keirro so, I'm afraid it will only be for the weekend."
Ayame leapt over with glee to hug her new friend. She tried to speak but found herself speechless and just smiled from ear to ear as she stepped back, flushing, from her over zealous reaction.

Evelyn beamed as her soft lavender eyes lit up with excitement while she was being spun into a hug.
"Yay!!! Thank you!!!" she cried as her pale cheeks went pink with glee.
"But for now we need to go Evelyn. We're visiting your grandmother today remember?" Ocean said with a firm parental tone.
Evelyn pouted, "Alright.. I guess I'll have to see you later then Ayame."

Ayame nodded but that Evelyn had to go wasn't distressing her any, she had too much energy and was too happy from the encounter to be bothered.
"Okay, I can't wait."
She smiled softly and went back to Lavi's side.
"Thank you miss Ocean! Thank you mommy."
Lavi grinned and ruffled Ayame's lockes then passed a note to ocean with her address and number.
"We shouldn't be hard to miss, We'll be expecting you Evelyn."
She winked at Ocean and then waved goodbye, to be joined by Ayame, who was enthusiastically waving too, as they turned back to the tumoult of the store to finish getting what they had come for.

Ocean smiled, "You're welcome sweetie," and pat Ayame on her head. She waved goodbye and grabbed Evelyn hand, "Come on honey, we should go to the check out lines."
"Ok mommy!"
And with one last wave they walked along to the lines as Ocean double checked to see if they had everything they came for.
