Her brow furrowed slightly as she peered between her legs, trying hard not to stumble over her son as she shifted around him. Something seem slightly off about that story. Wadi getting scared was something she'd easily accept... Kizuka? "What did this mare look like?" She leaned down, nugding Wadi's shoulder with her nose.
"Dah, Dah!" Her tail flickered behind her as she broke out of the woods. Unlike her brother, who ran straight for their mother, she wanted to get answers from the only person who'd be able to give them to her; Dah. "Daaaaah. Do you have a sister or is the mare who's probably followin' us lying?"

She could hear move noises now. Eureka she'd done it. Voices meant that the foals must have found their parents and that meant that Nuka would be around and she could poke him about being old.
"Like Dah." He peered up at his mama and grinned. "'zuka told me to run so i did ...." He nuzzled his mother for a moment before he took a careful step back. "She said she was Dah's sister and looks just like him"
He frowned as his daughter came running up and asking questions. Sister? Wait, Nanala? "I do .. but why my sister would be all the way out here i have no idea." She should be at home with their parents where she belonged.

Her brow furrowed as she glanced down at her son before looking up at Nuka. Shaking her head she shifted slightly, making her way towards the stallion knowing Wadi would follow after her if he didn't trip her first. "Kizuka... Did you tell Wadi to run?"
She had specifically told the filly not to do anything like that when the two of them were out on their own... Not unless it was an absolute emergency. The whole point of those outings was to get Wadi to be a bit more outgoing and possibly brave.
"Yes, Mama..." She sighed dramatically as she leaned against Nuka's leg. "I know you told us not to... But you also told us not to talk to strangers and how was I supposed to know that she wasn't a stranger... She sure looked strange."

"Now, it's not nice to call your daddy strange looking." she ducked under a branch and grinned across the small space toward her brother. "Cause you know ... same coat and all." She shook her mane out to get rid of a few branches and grinned at her brother. "How's it goin old man?"
"But she was strange and ...ack!" When the mare appeared again he dove back under his mothers legs. She could save him if the mare tried anything funny.
"I told you not to talk to dangerous strangers. You can't meet people if you don't talk to strangers." He sighed and nudged his daugher before a familiar voice broke into the clearing. "... I'm not any older than you. So if you're going to start that them i'm going to start calling you a hag. What in the world are you doing all the way out here?" He couldn't believe it. He hadn't thought he'd see his sister ever again yet there she was standing there grinning at him like he'd never left home.

Sighing softly she peered back down between her legs. "Wadi... Come out from there. That's your Dah's sister, aparantly... Ain't no diff'rent than Sedi is t'me an' you like Sedi, right?" Her brother hadn't seemed to frighten the colt nearly as much as her father had...
Brow lofting slightly she glanced up at the mare. "Now, now... Ah'm th'only one 'round here who's allowed t'call Nuka 'old'." She still did it from time to time just to get on his nerves when she knew she could.
"I'm not callin' Dah strange lookin'." She snorted softly as she stood proudly beside her father, small head held high. "No one says bad things 'bout my Dah 'cept for my Mama... An' Gran'dah but Mama says he's not supposed to and Miss Rogue says he only says it t'be ornery... Whatever that means."

"I'll call him old if i want. I've been calling him that longer than any of you anyway." She grinned at the mare before looking back at her brother. "I got bored. It's not the same at home without you around so i decided to leave." She shrugged slightly as if that were a perfectly normal thing to do.
"Besides. If i hadn't i wouldn't have figured out that you'd gotten yourself a family without telling me" It was good that he'd settled down and wasn't chasing girls around like he did when they were little. Plus from the sounds of it she was the perfect girl to keep him in line.
She looked down at the proud looking little filly again. "I'm not saying anything bad about Nuka. I'm just teasing him like i'm sure you do to your own brother."
He whined slightly but moved out from under his mother. It wasn't as safe out here but Dah seemed alright with her and did say she was his sister. Maybe she wouldn't be so bad after all.
"But Sedi big and strong and keeps me safe .... she scared me." Sedi had scared him at first but that was only cause he'd been so big. He hadn't jumped out of nowhere like she had.
He had to laugh at Atsila and Kizuka standing up for him. Of course his girls would get right on Nanala's case about calling him things. Stepping around his daughter he moved over and nudged Atsila's shoulder. "You shouldn't be calling me old either. Just makes Remy do it more."
Though when Remy called him old Rogue usually got onto him about it. "Girls, and Wadi ... this is Nanala my, if you can't tell, twin"

"Ah'll call you whatever Ah'd like t'call you." She snorted softly, holding her head with the same dignity that Kizuka reflected. There was an impish gleam in her eyes as she tilted her head just enough to look at Nuka. "It was callin' you old that got me into this t'begin with... Tellin' me t'stop would be like askin' me t'leave an' you already said Ah wasn't allowed t'do that."
She left her father's side, trotting up to her brother to give him a nudge with her nose. "Nanana... That sound like somethin' you say when you're tryin' t'tease someone. It's not nice t'tease. That's what Mama says, isn't that right, Wadi?" Of course it was right... Her mother had told her from the start that she wasn't allowed to tease her brother, afterall.
"Don't worry, Wadi. We're here with Dah and Dah'd never let anything happen t'any of us. He says that's his job... T'make sure we all stay outta trouble."

"Nanala, there's an l in there sweetheart." She laughed at the little filly. She almost reminded her of her own mother aside from the fact that her and Nuka's mother had been far more stuck up and snooty about it.
"She don't tease me. Mama says it's not nice." Though it seemed like Mama teased Dah all the time. It was better for him anyway since if 'zuka teased him he'd probably get scared of whatever she was staying.
"If he's supposta make us stay outta trouble then why agree with Mama that i need to explore more often?" He nudged his sister right back for her effort.
"That's cause you aren't. Sides you wouldn't want to anyway." He nuzzled her shoulder for a moment. "Never admit it but you like me under all that attitude. You should introduce yourself too you know."
He figured that his sibling already knew the foals names so all that was left was his mate.

Her brow lofted as she looked at Nuka. "So you can introduce her but you can't introduce me? Ah see how it is..." She snorted softly as she took a sidestep away from the stallion before letting her gaze drift back towards the mare. "Mah name's Atsila an', in case they weren't loud enough in th'forest... That's Kizuka an' Wadi."
"'Cause if you go with me then I won't get in trouble... Isn't that right, Dah?" She looked up at her father with a bright smile. He had told her on various occassions that she was far too much like her mother for her own good... But she'd like to think that she was alot like him too.
Nose wrinkling she looked back at the mare; this Nanala. "You shouldn't tease Dah. It's not nice."

She shook her head and laughed. "Well Atsila. It's a pleasure." She doubted that the other mare felt that way but oh well. "Your little ones were plenty loud for me to catch their names." She ignored the comment about not teasing Nuka. She'd go on doing that until the day she died.
Though Kizuka hadn't seemed all that happy that she'd heard their names after the fact. Showed how much the little filly was like her mama.
"You still get in trouble somehow." Though not as much when he was around. She was good at keeping him okay over finding herself things to do.
He raised a brow at Atsila and shook his head. Of course she wouldn't like his sister. Those two could probably bicker their way though an entire day if given the chance.
"You usually jump at the chance to introduce yourself. You always get onto me for calling you something." Generally she huffed at him when he called her his mate so he'd taken up letting her introduce herself.

"You've gotta learn eventually, don't you?" She gave her head a light toss, resisting the urge to roll her eyes at Nuka. Instead she forced a smile onto her face, more annoyed with him now than his sister's little comments.
At least it was his sister and not some random mare he'd done whatever with... She could at least handle a sister. Afterall, he'd 'handled' her family. She turned away slowly, meaning to head back down towards the lakeside. "Ah'm sure th'two of you have got lots t'catch up on... Don't let me keep you from doin' that."
"I didn't get into any trouble this time." She pouted, brow furrowing slightly as she watched her mother walk off. She didn't have to worry about getting into any sort of trouble now... Dah was going to be the one in trouble.

She grinned at her brother as the other mare walked off. "I take it you're on thin ice already huh?" She winked at him before bowing slightly to the two foals.
"I've already caused enough trouble for now. How about after you've made up with your little fireball you come talk to me if you want. I'm sure i won't get all that far away." After all she had a new place to explore and you could only cover so much ground in one day.
He looked between his parents for a moment before he went skurring off after Atsila. He'd rather be with Mama since Dah seemed like he was going to stick around the sister.
"One of these days you're going to get yourself into as much trouble as you get me in." He chided her before he leaned down to nudge Kizuka after her brother. "Come on ... you've gotta help me not be in trouble with Mama"

She glanced up at him oh-so-innocently. "But Dah... You're always in trouble with Mama." Her gaze quickly drifted back towards the Nanala-mare for a moment before trotting after her mother. This would be interesting... It always was; mostly because it ended in Dah telling she and Wadi to go walk around the lake. She liked walking around the lake...
