Artemis smiled, "New things are good, not that old things are bad they can just become normal and loose whatever was special about them." She looked up at the sky and smiled.
"I suppose you have more things to find new, I guess you can fly with those wings? What is it like to fly?" She had always wondered but then surely everyone who couldn't fly wondered what it would be like to fly, up in those beautiful blue skies.

Ghost held her expression but took in the wise advice that Artemis had said. It made sense, since many things in her life that started out new and precious, seemed to fade away with time. "I wish there was a way that older things could stay important, you know?" She looked at her, with bright eyes.
At Artemis's next question, Ghost only flushed up. "My sister is going to help me fly soon, since I am not good at such.." It was always so embarrassing to admit to such. "I have floated around before, but I get a bit nervous very high up in the sky. It is really fun, even at lower spots." She nodded happily, and tried to ignore her embarrassed feelings.

Artemis smiled, "If you don't do things for a while, when they happen again they can be as special as they were the first time." At least thats what she tried to believe because thats what happened every time she saw Thestral.
"I am sure you will be able to fly well. You are very lucky to be able to have wings and fly." She flicked her tail and looked up at the sky and laughed, random thoughts running through her mind.
"The stallion you are close to, can he fly?" She was curious.

It was nice to hear the advice she said, especially since Ghost hadn't seen Hesperos for quite some time. "I will remember that- its such a positive outlook, thank you Artemis." She smiled warmly at the female, happy to hear that things would be alright, even if there was distance.
Ghost then looked at her wings and giggled, having them wiggle around a bit. "I like my wings because they look like the ones my mother had, but are dark like the coloring of my father. It helps me remember my family." Since well, they were another part of her life that she couldn't see often.
"Yes, he also has wings. Though, they aren't like butterfly ones." She gave Artemis a nod and grinned again. "He stands so much taller then I am, does your mate do that as well?"

Artemis loved being helpful and it made her so happy to know that she was giving some good advice that the younger female was taking in and not just ignoring.
"I bet you both could have lots of fun, you can race in the sky and see who can make the strangest patterns." She smiled and then tilted her head a little. She had to think for a minute, it had been a while since she had last seen Thestral.
"He is taller then me but he isn't that much taller. He is stronger though, a lot stronger but I don't think he knows it." She thought about it a little more and just smiled. She loved her family so very much.

"I would be so embarrassed though.." Ghost giggled and brought her eyes back on Artemis. "Well, when I become more confident in the skies I am sure I will do such, and fly around all day! But for now, I am happy roaming around on the ground. I feel more stable here." She lifted her hoof up and stomped it playfully. "Its good excercise for my legs, too."
"I am sure Hesperos is stronger then me as well. Must be a guy thing." She winked at Artemis and wagged her tail around happily. Ghost looked up in the sky to see that the sun had changed directions, moving itself across the sky. "I hadn't even noticed what time it was, and how long we have been chatting Artemis. I hope I am not keeping you from anything." She bowed her head pollitely, and smiled to her dearly.

Artemis chuckled a little, "I am sure soon enough you will be as happy in the sky as you are here, then your wings can get some exercise!" She continued to smile, Ghost was such a lovely mare t be around, so cheerful!
"Yes, I expect they make themselves strong to show off, try and impress up girls." She nodded at Ghost's wink, just because she thought she had laughed so much already.
She watched the mare look at the sky and followed her eyes to the sun, it had moved quite a bit. Artemis didn't care though after all she had only planned on attempting to find Thestral which probably wouldn't have happened anyway.
"Oh no, you haven't kept me from anything! It is nice to chat to new people anyway so even if I was on my somewhere it wouldn't hurt to put it back a little to talk to you!" It was true, Artemis loved to meet new creatures no matter what species they were. It was more interesting then wandering around all day on your own.

"It does get very annoying when stallions try to impress me.. some can never really be themselves." She sighed, but knew that that was why she like Hesperos the best, since he didn't try to do anything but be himself. "I don't really care about strength, I have grown up on my own so I tend to rely on myself." She nodded, wondering if Artemis was the same way.
"I am relieved then, I always like to make sure, since it is getting later in the day. Time flies when you are having fun!" With a small neigh of enjoyment, she tilted her head into a nice breeze and closed her eyes to relax. "I really hope you can find Thestral soon, and even some of your kids. I know you are strong Artemis, and are able to wait for them, but I am sure it is hard too." She wondered if she had overspoken too much, and her cheeks flushed up in embarrassment. "Its just better when everything falls into place, you know?" There were times even Ghost would feel hopeless about finding her family, and she sighed, realizing Artemis' emotional strain.
"We can walk while we talk, and see if we can find anyone!" Ghost said cheerfully, as if a lightbulb had come above her head with a brilliant idea. "That is, if you would like to Artemis."

Artemis listened and nodded. "I agree, Stallions should be themselves more often." She was the same way, she didn't regret it though it wasn't the cleverest of things to do.
"I grew up on my own as well, I always felt a little detached from my family, I don't know if I have neices or nephews or even any more siblings. I don't mind too much though, I enjoy my own family and I believe it has made me stronger in myself." She smiled and nodded at the young ones statement. Time does fly.
"It is hard, I miss them a lot but it does make it so much more special when I do see them. The heart grows fonder when your away from someone you love." She chuckled a little and nodded.
"Yes lets walk and talk!"

'The heart grows fonder when your away from someone you love.' Ghost recited those words in her head as they walked, and tried to encompass everything that Artemis meant, and started to understand now why Artemis was so strong. "That is so true.." she mumbled quietly, sort of pondering the meaning of the words to herself. "Its hard to feel lonely when you know there are others out there thinking of you, ya know?" She gave Artemis a vivid smile.
Ghost peered ahead to see where they should walk to. "There is a lovely trail up ahead, it goes by many flowers and even a stream I believe. I have spotted many Soquili around there, so maybe we will get lucky?" Ghost nodded enthusiastically and led Artemis ahead onto the sturdy trail.
"I guess I always wonder if my siblings have found love, ya know? Well, I know my sister is very skeptical on that sort of thing, but I believe she would make a great mother." Ghost giggled at the thought. "My brother is so kind as well, I am sure he would make a great father. Do any of your siblings have children?" Ghost tilted her head and wondered what Artemis' family was like.

Artemis just smiled as her ears picked up the mumble though she didn't say anything, even when the question was asked she just nodded happily and thoughtfully. This youngster was very clever and would grow to be a wise girl, Artemis was sure of it.
"Yes maybe we will be lucky!" Artemis wasn't too bothered whether or not they found anyone else to talk to, just because she was happy talking to Ghost, she was such a lovely girl to talk to.
She continued to listen to the femme and nodded at various points. "I know my brother has some children but as I said earlier, I am too detached from my family to know much of what is happening. I guess I just grew apart from them and then I met Thestral and we have our three children and now Bes has kids of his own. I have got so wrapped up in the family I created, I don't think much of the family that created me." She softened her voice a little. She did regret not seeing her family sometimes but she thought it would be such an awkward meeting if they all met again that she was happy to keep away.

"I don't think that's a bad thing you know." Ghost pondered for a second after Artemis spoke and wondered if she would be like that. "I know my own parents would want to see children of mine if that happens one day, but I am sure the same thing would happen to me later on. Its hard to keep up with so much family in a land, so I don't think there is anything wrong with sticking to one, or your current children. Its better for your children's growth, afterall." She nodded, and was sure that it would still work out.
The trail that the two females were walking on was big enough to fit the two, so they were pleasantly able to continue next to each other as they spoke. Ghost's eyes drifted to the wonderful scenary around her, and was embarrassed that she was distracted for a moment with the beauty.
"I just love this trail.." she said, almost childishly. "Its so comforting and inviting, its the perfect place to walk." She finished with a smile.

Artemis listened and nodded as they continued to walk down the path. She thought about what Ghost had just said and there was no doubt in her mind that she agreed. In the end the children always have to come first.
"The trail is beautiful. Do you come here often?" She was curious as it was Ghost who pointed out the trail to begin with it was worth asking her about it. It was beautiful after all and very calm and tranquil.

"Actually yes, it helps me relax. I tend to dream a lot, and space out, so this is the perfect environment for that." Although Ghost was always quiet in admitting so, she tended to space out whenever she was wandering by herself. Luckily she had company at the moment, so it didn't seem as though she would think about something else.
"Do you have any favorite spots? Now that I think about it, there are quite a few- like where my first adventure was as a filly.. where I first met Hesperos.." She gleamed at the thought, and turned to Artemis. "Surely you have favorite spots too! Its hard to remember every moment in my life, but scenary is helpful in pin-pointing where I am heading."

Artemis nodded as Ghost spoke, yes Artemis liked to find relaxing places to just think about things.
"Favourite spots? Well I don't know not really. I mean anywhere I see someone I like will be a good spot but favourite spots, no not that I can think of. Other then the Teepee where I was born, I remember that though I haven't been there in years." She smiled and flicked her tail. She looked to the sky and laughed.
"Anywhere I can see the beautiful sky is a favourite spot to me."
