Um. Sort of pointless to be like 'spoilers, sry' after people have read them, no? Maybe hit the edit button and white them out instead?
Anyway. My list is pretty short in terms of anime series, because I don't like/read that many: -Cowboy Bebop -Blue Submarine No. 6
In terms of Movies: -Millennium Actress -Grave of the Fireflies -Night on the Galactic Express -Metropolis -Princess Mononoke -Spirited Away -Let's face it, pretty much any Ghibli.

While I agree that the paragraph might have been put together better to avoid the spoilers...everyone yaps about the endings anyway, so it doesn't much matter either way. -_-
Yeah, Ghibli's main goal seems to be tears and aircrafts. No complaints though - they're still great to watch. ^^

Dragon Ball Z? Actually, now that I think about it there was a lot of emotion in that show. eek
Ghibli works on the 'heartwarming' principle, which basically states that you can make the audience cry as much as you want to as long as the ending is happy. Well, except for Grave of the Fireflies. That was just depressing.
[snipsnipsnippy! i respect your apathy, but you're sending mixed messages]
