Ronin smiled at hearing that the female found him funny, usually others didn't apriciate his sense of humor.
"Yep they are indeed." He replied, havin to scratch once more as the itc returned.
"I think scratching is contageous though, if you see someone doing it, you start to itch yorself." He added with a chuckle.

Another true fact. Luna chuckled softly to her self. This wolf was a kind soul. She could tell he was trust worthy, he seemed to be harmless enough.
"You have any family?" She asked not being sensitive at all, just curious. Luna was never one to beat around the bush. She was a straight forward wolf who had the curiosity of a cat.

Roni shook his head at that. "No I'm just myself." He replied.
He wasn't offended or anything, because he could tell that the female was just as curious as himself.
"And yourself?" He asked.
He wanted to know more about this female too, now that the were in a good conversation.

"Ah?" What to say what to say? The female's mind went in circles. She had family but it was complicated. "My family," She started, "I have not seen in a very very long time by choice." She did not know him well enough to give the full story and she was sure it would have bored him so if she did.
She remembered the berries. They had been just lying in her leaf sled thing while she had not been paying attention. Looking back behind her, to her horror, she found a rabbit of all creatures munching on the snacks. Its scent had been covered by the luring scent of berries in the air. The rabbits beady eyes looked up at the two wolves. No fear in sight of its deep gray eyes. It continued to munch on the berries as if Luna was not watching.
This upset Luna. Her matted gray fur now stood up on her back and she let out a growl. Leaping forth in front of the berry pile and sticking her maw in the rabbits face. Teeth shown in the moon light almost glowing as she snarled. The rabbit leaped back and hopped back. Oh dear, she thought to her self. She was going to have to pick all those berries all over again.

"I see, I shan't poke the subject anymore." Ronin replied. He could tell that either she didn't feel comfortable talking about it, or she just didn't want to bother, either way he wasn't going to push her int telling, they had only just met after all.
He turned his head to see what had caugt the female's attention and noticed the rabbit eating the berries.
His yellow eyes followed the movements of both the female and the rabbit as it was chased away.
"Oh dear, looks like that one got away with your food." He said, looking after the rabbit.
"Would you like some help gathering some new berries?" He offered shortly after having made that statement.

Luna smiled back at Ronin. A tad embarrassed at what had just happened. She would have normally sensed the creature before it had a chance to near the berries. The scent of the berries must have been a cover for the little creature. Though it was to late now to do anything. That rabbit was lucky it had gotten away before it had become the replacement snack.
"Ah well," Luna said with a soft chuckle under her breath. "No use crying over spilt milk eh?" Her eyes scanned the area. There were still a ton of berry bushes that were plump with goods. She smiled back at Ronin with his offer, "That would be lovely if you helped." She said with a bow to show how thankful she was for the offer.

Ronin gave a nod. "Alright I'll help you then." He replied.
He didn't mind helping, because it really was bad luck that thse berries had been eaten by that small creature and none of the had even noticed it, that was indeed a little embarassing.
"I think thre are some really good bushes over this way." He said, nodding with his head towards some bushes not too far away from whee they were now.

Luna followed Ronin. It did not take long til' more berry scents filled the air with its alluring sweetness. The leaf berry carrier fallowed closely after Luna almost like a small dog nipping at her heals. For sure Ronin was a kind and nice wolf, someone who seemed to have a good head on his shoulders.
The bushes were in sight. Plump red and blue and pink berries covered the lot. It was a refreshing image.

Ronin smiled when those bushes were in sight. "There we go, lots of berries to pick." He said, looking back at the female that was following him.
"I like this place because there always seems to be enough to eat." He said, approaching a bush filled with red berries.
"These ones tatse nice and sweet." He added with a nod.

Luna was glad for the company. She started picking at the berries with her maw. They were soft so she was careful not to bare down to hard with pressure on them so they would not burst. This was not an easy task seeing as sweet juice erupted in her mouth from the berry quite regulary. This did not discourage the female wolf though, only made her want to try harder and harder.
"This is kind of fun," her tail was wagging to prove that indeed she was having fun. She had to admit Ronin was good company. Two wolves together picking berries was not an easy target for hungry lones who might attack and eat their own kind.

Ronin started helping with picking the berries too and didn't have any better luck than the female, because he too could feel the berry juice in his mouth when a berry burst because he bit down too hard.
"This isn't as easy as it would seem." He said with a chuckle.
He did his best to be careful too though, because he had offered to help pick the berries, not eat them.

The female laughed, "Yes seem the berries are just dying to be tasted." Berry juice stained the fur around the rim of her mouth giving her the appearance of a wolf who had just killed something. Though even though it looked that way, her smile over shadowed it giving her a more friendly look.
"Best to keep trying, Were getting a few!" She was optimistic most of the time about things.
