Incredible? The mere thought made her blush so heavily that her fur seemed to electrify with her happiness and glow in the midday sun. Her family all said they loved her and that she was brave for being a mute... but incredible? No one had ever used that word to describe her before.
Trying to hide her beating heart due to her immense confusion of the situation, Iuile peeped once more and nosed at his wing softly with her ginger nose quietly. Her green eyes shimmered up at him and she let a small smile spread over her muzzle for just him. It wasn't as meek as her normal ones, it was a true smile, filled with happiness that she always had but never conveyed. Only he got to see it, under the shelter of his large blue and black wings.
Words met her large ears after a few moments though, and Iuile peeked her head out from beneath Maidh's wing to peer up in the sky at her sister with a tiny smile, so unlike the one just moments ago.

"Lucia!" With a quick glance at the ground to check and see where Maidhfinden was looking -which was still down at the petite angelic mostly obscured beneath his wing- Vana closed the distance between himself & the pale striped beauty. He only held back from getting closer so their flight would not be disturbed, kissing her cheek tenderly and stroking a black tipped paw from her knee to dainty white tip. "Lucia... Love... gods I've missed you!" Days or hours time away from her always seemed too long. "Come down with me? Maidh... I'd near swear he's not flirting! Lucia..." Love & happiness glittered in Vanafindon's blue eyes. What that would mean... surely his love could guess. "She spelled out her name as Iuile..."
On the ground it did not feel as in he were so, as Maidh sat quite dazed on the beach. His wing tightened ever so gently around Iuile's shoulders when she peeped & nosed it. That smile... was there really any ground at all? For suddenly all beyond her did not seem to exist. Words were momentarily out of his reach and he found that although he was surprised he did not care. Then there was a gentle reminder of earth, Iuile looked away & peeked out around his wing. Gods! If that's not the most adorable sight I don't know what is! "What do you see, pretty little thing?"
Maidh lowered his head to just beside hers, gently murmuring his question beside her ear. He did not touch her aside from his wing around her -though he was sorely tempted. Nor did he look up, to easily discover the answer for himself. He could not seem to take his eyes from her & studied her face with a sweet expression on his own.

Lucia wrapped herself around Vana when he was close and nuzzled his cheek gently, purring happily, "I missed you so much Vana...." she whispered, her eyes closed for a moment as she took in the feel of him and his scent. She looked up at him when he said Maidh wasn't flirting and she looked down to the beach.
She blinked when she thought she spotted someone small under Maidh's wing and then the nose peeked out and she knew it was her sister. Squealing happily because it had been so long since she saw her smaller sister, she extracted herself from Vana and flew down. Landing at a distance from Maidh, she opened up her arms, "Iulie!!!" she cried out.

Letting out an even louder peep than she normally did, Iuile bounced up and down under Maidh's wing and pointed to Lucia with a bright and extremely happy smile on her face. Her fluffy paw kept pointing as she grabbed him with her other and tugged him in the direction of her larger sister, bouncing hyperly and making strange noises that sounded like the noises a bird would make.
Finally releasing him, she leaped into Lucia's arms, all three tails wagging like lightning as she hugged her sister with her smaller arms and peeped again. It had seemed like it was forever since she'd seen her sister.
Now she had so much to tell her, so much to let her know. But first...
"NEEK!" Iuile peeped happily, grabbing Lucia and pointing with one of her fluffy paws at Maidh before she hopped back over to him and slid under his large blue/black wing again. Her green eyes shimmered out at her sister brightly, whole body wiggling as she tried to get her point across desperately.

"Huh? You want me to see..." so adorable... Grinning at how Iuile bounced up and down, the larger male let himself be led by the petite angelic still watching her rather than looking up though Maidhfinden knew he should. He simply did not want to tear his gaze away.
After nuzzling Lucia a moment while in air the other twin hovered before setting down a few steps behind her. He chuckled, watching his twin dragged along by the tiny female. It was not until Iuile released Maidh to hug her sister that he looked up, watching the females embrace. His blue eyes looked surprised and it was all Vanafindon could do while watching from the other side of the girls not to laugh out loud. Clearly, the more recently lovestruck of the twins was now making something of a connection. "uh, hi again Lucia..."
Then Iuile 'spoke' & Maidh's attention was all hers once more. A blush as he was indicated, then a rapid beating of his heart, eyes widening & tails wagging as the petite femme returned to the cover of his wing. His head followed her under, drinking her in, with a soft, tender, incredulous look upon his blushing face. He could not hope to think that the little mute beauty might feel for him anything like the feelings he could not understand that he was feeling for her though that was what everything from listening & watching Iuile was telling him. So instead he commented on the other surprise. "Sisters?!?"
Padding just beside Lucia, Vana put his muzzle beside her ear and quietly whispered to her alone. "Thought she might be the sister you spoke of. But see, Love? What I was saying about Maidh?" and if I'm not mistaken... could she possibly feel something for him as well? Spotted tails wagged more languidly behind Vana. Lightly he touched his cheek to Lucia's, blue eyes bright with happiness in the light of such hope swelling in his heart. There was one test he might put his twin to yet...

Lucia hugged her sister tightly and nuzzled the top of her smaller head. She then let her go and watched her go back over to Maidh and her heart hurt just a tiny bit to watch her sister leave her behind and put herself under another Kitsu's wing. She smiled at Vana, but only nodded her head, smiling at her sister when she peeped at her to understand and she nodded her head, her eyes saying she understood.

Happier than she could have ever exlaimed, Iuile nestled up against Maidh suddenly, her wings flat on her back and her head resting on his fur. He was so comfortable that she'd almost forgotten about the world around her when she was with him, but seeing her sister had brought her back, reminded her as to why she had come here in the first place.
But she didn't care. How it had happened so quickly that she'd acknowledged him as 'hers' she didn't know, but Maidh was now the easiest Kitsu she knew to be around aside from her own sister and father.
"Nya!" She beamed brightly and swished all three of her tails before pointing behind Lucia to Vana knowingly. Her green eyes were sharp despite her lack of voice, she already knew.

Maidhfinden still did not understand all that he was suddenly feeling, only knowing that everything the tiny mute female said or did made him feel so very good... and that as long as she was near nothing else in the whole world seemed to matter. Especially with her small body -joy of joys!- nestled up against him. It was so easy, so natural to dip his head down and nuzzle hers. So when Iuile 'spoke' again he was more than a little lost at her meaning & blinked. "yeah. Vana & your sister hang out all the time." Maidh grinned, looking back at Iuile and missing anymore of the others. "Pretty neat huh?"
He would have laughed at his twin given his good humor that Maidh was clearly in love and soon there would be no more secret from his twin but Vana was more preoccupied nuzzling the light-furred sister with a worried 'churr' sound for her silence and stillness. A gesture his brother missed.
Sighing softly Vana gave another nuzzle to his beloved & kissed her cheek with a crooked grin. "One test for him, Lucia... your sister's made her choice clear. Smarter than Maidh about us too. I'll be right back, love. I want our game over..." His loving look was tender & slightly pained. He would rather stay beside Lucia, and he was not sure if this would hurt her at all.
Vanafindon padded over to his twin and the small sister, tails swaying in determination and trying not to look back at the beloved pale furred beauty his heart longed for. He had a feeling he knew what would happen as a result of this 'test' and stopped more on Iuile's side of his twin to allow for it, leaning over her head to speak.
"Apologies in advance, Iuile... but I've got to be sure..." Then Vana whispered into his brother's ear. "She'd be perfect if she could talk, huh?"
There was no warning. Maidh's paw on the far side swung around, over the smaller angelic female's head to collide with a resounding force on his twin's jaw. Vana stumbled back a bit, somehow smiling under the blow, his blue eyes a bit dazed and wondering if the fire lighting his twin's eyes had been in his own when the tables had been reversed. "Stuff it, Vana!!"
The fire of love defended softened & faded as blue eyes fell on Iuile. "She's perfect. As is."
Swaying from the impact Vana continued to smile trying to turn and find Lucia with blurred vision. What a hit! Had he hit that hard? Guess it's settled... Maidh's in love. "Grats bro. Luc'... game's up." There was immeasurable joy in his voice and a smile on his paw-marked face as he wobbled, spun, & toppled.

Lucia blinked in slight confusion at Vana and watched him when he stepped up over to his brother. She couldn't hear what they were saying, straining her large ears to pick up something, but she cried out when Maidh suddenly reach back and slugged his brother and for that time, she forgot everyone else around her. Her green eyes going dark, like a forest green, she raised her hackles and snarled, her fangs showing and she charged at Maidh.

Her eyes were wide, green shimmering with shock and horror as a whoosh above her head betrayed the crack of fist meeting jaw only seconds before it actually happened. Pulling from Maidh for a moment, she peered at Vana as he crumpled and tried to reach out to him.
The snarl brought her away from Maidh's brother with a start and she turned to see her sister running straight at the male she'd finally realized she loved. She knew that Maidh probably deserved it, but she'd also heard what Vana had said and half understood why he'd done it. But Vana.... had he meant it? No... surely he couldn't have.
"NYA!" Arching up and standing on both of her hind legs, Iuile braced herself and held her arms outspread at her sides to guard him from her sister, to make her sister hit HER first and not her love. "NYANYA!" Tears slid down from her green eyes as she shook her head violently.

Vana was down, but he was by no means out. Dazed blue eyes widened as his beloved charged... his twin! "Lucia! No!" He stumbled to get his feet beneath him as the anger in his twin's eyes shifted, Maidhfinden seeing how the the pale furred sister was gunning for him. But what made him drop his anger -or any other feeling but those for Iuile- was when the petite female who had captured his heart reared like a beautiful tigress to defend ... him?
"Iuile!" Her name tore from him with such feeling. Vana was staggering to intercept Lucia. "The test! I asked for it, Lucia! To be sure! And he passed! That's the reaction I was hoping for!"
Maidh blinked, shaking his head. "What's going on?!?" He looked like one who was seeing too much too fast with too many new feelings running at high power & just plain confused.

Lucia came to a complete halt, but it wasn't because of Vana, she didn't hear a word he said. It was all her sister Iulie, standing in front of Maidh, protecting him from her. Her heart felt like it would beat right out of her chest as she sat there, panting. Her thoughts were going wild as she looked at all three of them. And then, with a flap of her wings, she took off and away from them, moving as fast as she could, needing to collect her thoughts.

Confused and unsure of what to do, Iuile looked back and forth between the twins as she finally came to a rest on all fours again, her eyes large and tears running down her face. The two most important people to her had almost attacked one another... she couldn't stop crying.
"N-nyaaaaaaa!" The sob came from her and she closed her eyes as she did it, head thrown back so she appeared just a little kit. Never in her life had her sister done something like this, never in her life had her sister left her. It felt like a weight had suddenly been dropped on Iuile's heart.

Vana could hardly believe his -blurry- eyes. "Lucia!" he closed his eyes, trying to find balance as he spread his wings to catch a wind to follow after her. If he followed by scent... it wouldn't matter that his vision was still unfocused. He couldn't wait until it was better. "It's my fault. I was expecting the hit, Lucia wasn't." Meanwhile Maidh lost all thought of trying to figure out what this was all about. "Iuile...! Sweet gods, don't cry beautiful! Or cry on me..." He curled around her wiping her tears away with his muzzle. His twin caught a wind. "I'll explain later! I know she'll be happy!" She's just gotta be! Lucia!
Eyes shut he followed her scent, calling her name. Dang, but Maidhfinden had hit hard!

Lucia kept flying, not noticing where she was going through her tears. She couldn't believe what she did or almost did! Trying to attack Maidh and then almost attacking her sister?! How could Iulie ever forgive her now?
