"I stopped eating because I was kinda eating the whole piece whole and I figured it would be rude to shove that much in my mouth when company was around so I set it aside to finish later."
Moriko looked at Piopi.
"Yup, and she's capable for taking care of a more dangerous one, so a little guy that usually wouldn't be able to get a nice owner gets one."

Moriko laughed.
"Not ashamed, but nobody has actually asked what I am. I think the only people that know are the ones at the hospital, I'm in there a lot, not that it's needed but I still go in when I get injured."
Moriko looked at Piopi.
"Oh, I forgot to mention, the little guy doesn't have a name, so you have to give him one."

Piopi beamed at everyone stupidly.
"Yeah." she stated, feeling tongue tied in front of all these strangers "I'll try to be a good owner."
She detatched the vipers head from her finger gently and felt it uncoil from her arm. If it was a dog it wouldve had its tail between its legs and tried to slink away, but since snakes arent as expressive, it hung there limply.
"Er.." She got embarassed and clumsy.
The snake slinked out of her grip and slithered into the grassy paddock, its scales blending with the grass.
"Oh no! Oh dear! I'm so sorry!" She fretted, looking frantically in the grass for the baby.

Moriko pulled a piece of raw meat out of a little plastic baggie from her bag and put it on the ground, the little snake slithered towards it and started eating it.
"It's still a baby, so if you drop it or it tries to get away, just put some meat on the ground, it should be attracted to the food pretty easily at this age."
She picked the snake and it's piece of meat up, now almost completely devoured and held it out for Piopi.
"Don't worry, you'll be a good owner, I can tell."

Dark warily looked at the creature Moriko was holding.
"That's a scale viper, right? Aren't they poisonous?"

Piopi accepted it, more solemnly this time. "Meat, okay."
"I think I'll name him Seshi, cos he makes those noises a lot, especially when he escapes into grass." She looked into the little vipers yellow eyes and it sprung, biting her on the nose.
She struggled to pull him off gently, it didnt really hurt her, it was just annoying and embarassing.

"Yeah, but she'll be fine."
Moriko watched Piopi and her new pet.
"Seshi's a cute name. Just make sure he doesn't eat you, when he does something you don't want him to get a habit of doing, tap him firmly on the nose, all snake like creatures and snakes alike hate that, so if he learns that when he does something and that'll happen, he'll stop doing it. Actions and consequences basically."

Piopi nodded again, taking the slinky green viper off her face and flicking it on the nose. It twisted around her arm submissively, not biting anything for now.
She nodded goodbye to Moriko and the other two, trotting off down the road towards town, playing with her new little friend.
"I'll see you 'round." She called over her shoulder and waved, leaving the sanctuary.

Moriko waved as Piopi left, then turned back to Z and Dark.
"Ah, another little creature gets a home. Speaking of creatures, are you wanting anymore while you're here Dark? I saw you looking at a Kneazle a while back. Or maybe Z would like something?"
