My opinion on best anime changes depending on what I'm watching at the time, but Naruto's been my favorite since a couple weeks after it started in the US - so more than a year, easily. (At first I wasn't sure I liked the show, in all honesty...)

I watch the English more than the Japanese but I prefer the Japanese.

From what little I've seen the animation quality looks to be pretty good, so I respect that.
But the concept of ninjas running around wearing bright colors and shiny headbands is so ridiculous that I can't bring myself to have any kind of interest in it.

Sounds like Zahari likes everything extremely...practical. ^^
I do find it peculair how Squad 7's clothes are SO much brighter than all the others', though.

I like as much whimsy as the next girl, but not when it contradicts the basic function of, well, in this case, being a ninja. Wearing bright colors/shiny things completely defeats the whole NOT BEING SEEN aspect I think. Plus I can't stand 95% the squealing, insane fan base.

I don't know which version is better- English or Japanese, cause I can't speak or Japanese so I donno. But I really dislike the show of Naruto, hate is too strong of a word, because its too overdone and it changed the original manga for the worse. The manga is really good, though in the new season its taking a turn to be alike to the show- too cheesy.

I love it. Japanese is better; doesn't get on your nerves as much, and there's more episodes.

The Japanese version is better. No annoying voices lol and that "Believe it!" stuff. The only cool thing about the american version is that song made from Kabuto's lines called "My Ninja info Cards". ^^
