The original X wouldn't work properly since it was a first try.
When a bunch of other more Evil than neutral Xs come, our X will be torn between his brothers and the good of Gaia.
He will have the power to save us.
Or destroy us entirely.
Destroy Destroy Destroy Destroy...

That could be how the Devs would fit in a 'What If' plot, one plot (the real one) based on him choosing the light side, and the What If being the dark side. surprised
It would be too dark for Gaia if he went evil.
There's limits on how morbid and sinister things can get without escaping good taste.

True, but choosing to be good has become cliche, they should shake it up a bit.

Screw hundreds of Xs, there could just be two.
Perhaps a Virus induced cloning of some sort?
X could split, and each new X would emphasize one side of his personality.
One would brood and plot and start destroying Gaia.
The other would rally the population and rise against the evil.
In the end, good X would learn a lesson that he needs both parts to be himself (he only won because bad X was also missing half), and there would be a valuable lesson.
More plot holes will follow.

Something similar to that happened in the Jackie Chan animated series. 3nodding It worked out nicely.

Yes, it's a repeating plot thing.
It was in Star Trek Voyager with Belona and her Klingon half.
xD

It's used, but not enough to be cliche.

I agree. And it'd be pretty sweet to see that happen.

Maybe someone should make a theory about if X split because he was turned into a Grombie? You did ask that question in the X Lives thread, so maybe that would cause him to split.

Sounds like another theory I should probably do.
I won't though.
The gods already get hardly any attention.

Yep.

That'd be cool if everyone in the guild started their own in-depth plot. surprised

Fine.
If X really is a weapon of some sort, what kind of intentions would his creators have?
Maybe they wanted to just overthrow Gambino (VH?).
