FrostBite smiled, "I hope to see one some day as well." She looked at her markings, they were becoming a little more difficult to see while Vaati bacame brighter in the darkness. She looked at him and chuckled as the firefly flew away back to its kind. "Must of mistaken you for a big crowd of fireflies."
FrostBite closed her eyes, "its not that I dont have a lot of friends," she opened them again and tilted her head, "its more like I don't know a lot of people." She smiled, "what about you? Also, do you have any siblings?"

He crinkled his nose at the thought that he had been mistaken for a bunch of fireflies, but quickly recovered. His glow was more of a foggy, eerie glow than a bright light of sorts, and it emitted only from his eyes and paws, ear tips and other chartreuse parts of his fur.
Vaati thought about her question for a moment before answering.
"Well, I can't say that I have a whole lot of friends. I tend to keep my distance from others. And... I suppose you could say that I have family. My sister, Reikka- though she isn't my real sister. Cyrus and Amissé too, but in a family sense, they would be more like cousins."
Once he had finished, a sigh emitted from his maw and he looked a bit depressed for a moment before regaining composure.
"I'm sorry, I must be boring you- we can... do something? If you would like."

FrostBite chuckle as Vaati made a face. "I dont have any family... currently!" She wondered what it was like to have a sister, brother or cousin, or any other relative for that matter. She tilted her head wondering why he looked so sad for a moment. "No, your not boring me, but we can do something," she smiled, "what did you have in mind?" She remembered the time they splashed in the river, it was pretty fun.

Vaati blinked in confusion- as intelligent as he was, he could still be a bit naive at times. But he set his thoughts aside and tried to think of something entertaining for them to do.
"Well, what do you usually do for fun? I'm up for anything."
At that, he stood up, ate a couple of berries and walked over to the river-side. Peering over the side, he stared at his reflection and the moon's, its glow overpowering his own. He scowled at his reflection and let out a small sigh before his eyes wandered over to FrostBite's reflection in the water. His scowl was replaced with a small smile as he dipped a paw in the quick-flowing water.
Maybe it would be fun just to jump in and see where the current took them.

"Usually... I run, sleep... yeah, I don't do many things," she laughed at how pathetic her cycle of activities was. She followed him closer to the river and gazed at the things she saw in the reflections, somethings reflected in the river that she hadnt even noticed. She lifted her head back up and looked at Vaati. She smiled, "we could just jump in the river like last time." She had a pretty good idea he was thinking that too. She stuck her paw in the water as well, it wasnt that cold.

"Welll~" A smirk crossed over Vaati's maw as he sauntered silently behind FrostBite. "I did have s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g in mind~"
He was quite speedy, being a hunter class Ulaya. He zipped right around her and slipped silently into the water. Since it was so dark out, it was difficult to see him- even his glow was missing from view. He seemed to have disappeared into the water's depths and was spending quite awhile down there, as he had been submerged at least a minute prior.

FrostBite smiled, she couldnt see him but she could at least hear him. "You alright down thee?" She stuck her head in the water looking around. She lifted her head out and took a few steps back waiting just a bit, if she was going to jump into the water she didnt want to hit him by accident. While getting ready she snagged a few berries and nuts and ate them, just in case the current took them.

Vaati waited for awhile at the bottom of the river, biding his time until the opportune moment. He was going to take action when her head was poked in the water, but she had retracted it too quickly. However unfortunate, he was running out of breath and had to come up eventually. He could see her silhouette nipping at the food he had brought, and he waited for a moment longer until her head was turned towards the river.
Now was his chance.
He grinned a fanged grin and shot up to the surface, right near the bank. He quickly stretched out his arms and put them around her neck as if he were hugging her, his nose almost touching hers. His eyes were lit up quite nicely, not only because of his glow, but just the way eyes normally light up.
He didn't stay in that position long though, for he swiftly, but carefully so as not to hurt her in any way, pulled her down into the water's depths with him.
His glowing eyes and fur made for quite a nice underwater night light.

FrostBite was given quite a shock. She gazed at his glowing eyes for a minute but she wasnt prepared to go in the water at the time so after a few moments she submerged to the surface. After gasping for breath for a few seconds she laughed. "Next time we meet you better watch yourself!" After getting ready anf holding her breath she dunked back into the water.

"Oh-ho, I'm s-c-a-r-e-d now." His tone was playful and sarcastic. Since she did not glow as he did, it was difficult to tell where she had gone, and in an excited sense he was anxious to see what would happen next.
Vaati paddled around in the water, looking around for a sign of the other Ulaya. The river's flow was slowly causing them to drift from where they had been before, towards the ocean where the river drained out.
The fireflies seemed to be following them, but he knew that they were all over the place and not actually following the two Ulaya.

"You better be." She said giggling while silently swimming about, it was a good thing the river was flowing, then it was more difficult to tell where she was. Now that they were both under water it was easier to tell where he was. She grabbed a branch from the bottom though it was difficult to hold on to and she crept up on him. She poked him in the stomach with it before quickly swimming backwards, she wasnt very good at schemes.

Vaati jumped when she poked him in the stomach, but she had made the tragic flaw of giving away her position. He zipped after her- he was surprisingly agile even in the water.
As they were both underwater and had been for some time, his breath was beginning to run out, but he had enough to get her back for poking him.
Once he had found her towards the river's bottom, he tackled her so that they were in a ball of sorts, flowing slowly downstream.
He wasn't holding on for too long though, before he released her, gave her a playful nudge, and zipped off towards the surface for some air.

She knew that he would find her and she wasnt in shock this time but she dropped the stick. She smiled as he nudged her and headed for the surface. Luckily she still had some time left before she needed to submerge as well. She swam after him and the moment his head was out of the water she pulled him back down for a second before splashing out of the surface getting her breath back.

Vaati hadn't been expecting that maneuvre one bit. He was quite shocked to find that as soon as he had gotten some breath in him he was being forced to hold it in as he drifted under the water.
However, he quickly regained composure and grinned as he grabbed FrostBite's hind legs and pulled her down level with him. After that, he quickly swam behind her, giving her another nudge- an invite for a chase, perhaps, for right after he did so he swam off with the current.

FrostBite smiled, she knew he would do it right back. She turned around for a moment but than turned back as he quickly swam off. She swam after him, though she was a decent runner she wasnt the bast of swimmers. Soon she had to go up for some air but right after taking a breath she went back down.
