Indoras The anime would have to be the "altered" version since the manga came first. One of the biggest differences is the placement of the Peach Man story--it was in the twelfth manga and it ends up more than sixty episodes in, if I remember correctly. Peach Man's in the...eighth manga I think. o.O I just got it out of the library. No..it's ninth manga, that's it. I think the drawing is better in the anime, but I like the manga better. Maybe because it won't stop after 30 min. Me: *when it ends* NOOOO! THAT'S NOT FAIR! *waking up entire house*

i love both anime and manga, here equal 3nodding whee 4laugh ^^
but if i had to choose, it'd be manga cuz it has funny author comments and details and episodes that don't have on anime. but anime has sad music and stuff too. i luv them both^^

You know what I think? I think the manga is better than the anime because they leave out so many things in the anime that aren't in the manga.

I liked the Peach Man in the Manga. It's only the 9th book. Why is it in the Sixtys?

Nothing was altered in the manga. The anime "InuYasha" was based off the manga, meaning if there are any alterations, then you can pretty much say that the anime did all the extra episode filling, and changing things around. EXAMPLE: In the manga, "The Peach Man" chapters were supposed to occur BEFORE Sango's appearance, yet Sunrise decided to put it in AFTER meeting Sango. Also, the anime has FILLER episodes, meaning episodes that did not occur in the original manga.

The reasons I pefer the manga:
1) Yes, to repeat it, my favorite manga is 18 for the Inuyahsa-Kikyo part, especially when she told Inuyasha she wouldn't let a man touch a single hair on her head but Inuyasha, and they screwed it up in the anime
2) In the 17 (I think...) manga, Inuyasha is wounded after a battle with Koga against one of Naraku's minions, and when he stumbles out to see Kikyo, she sees him, very badly hurt, and huggs him while helping explain to him her plans, but in the anime, she just sits in a tree, watching and talking to him from a distance.
