Yes because that's definitely a source for comparing a $6000 Ibanez and a Squire. The Digitech RP250 doesn't seem to be a guitar last I checked. If you're going to sit here and bullshit your way through this or at least try then just say so. I'll leave it at this right now actually, if your next reply to me doesn't consist of a source then you proved that you're ignorant and don't know what's coming out of your mouth. Oh and I won't reply to your next reply if it doesn't consist of a source either (An effect pedal isn't a source my friend unless you can find a video of the $6000 Ibanez and the Squire being compared with the pedal).

kthxbi :]

imo esp and schecter are the way to go.
you get a guitar with great pickups.
esp active emgs
schecter demazios

schecters dont use dimarzio, althought that would be an interesting tone possibility 3nodding

most schecter's use seymor duncan designed pickups, but others used are the EMG 81's and other EMG pickups. Lower end schecter guitars use basic schecter humbucker ripoffs that sound like absolout garbage

I have a BOSS GT-8 pedal board...
I found it to be way better than any Digitech thing I ever tried...
>.>

ON Topic:
I like Gibson.
but yes way over priced.
People like Zakk Wylde have money, and can get personalized custom shops.
Fender I never liked. Not what I'm looking for in a guitar.

ESP is amazing, especially for the price.
$1000+tax for an ESP LTD M-1000! The thing had EMG 81's, original floyd rose, flame top, trans-black finish, and binding with albolone(is that right??) purifying (gave it an amazing sparkle.) All for $1000 Canadian!

You don't beet that kind of amazingness...

I choose Ibanez over Fender. I play Ibanez. Once I get the income, I plan on switching to ESP though. I can't wait. D:

i love fenders feel over anything. my brother has an ibanez and absolutely hate its feel. gibsons (ariels father has a very old les paul) feels like a ton of weight, jacksons have an akward feel to me too, schecter...im werid and all but i just dont like that synyster gates dude which is why i dont like schecter.
i just need my pedal and i can imitate anyother guitars/amps tone or sound

first of all, squash the noise i saw in the first post about jackson being inferior to fender or Jackson. you realize Fender OWNS jackson, right?
fender and gibson play " mama" to alot of other underfunded guitar making businesses. I suggest you taker a look.

IMO, I'd have to say i LOVE dean guitars, but yes, I am biased. I want a les paul, but gibson (EPIPHONE TOO) are so ******** expensive.

fender primarily uses single coil pickups in their models ( primarily, not always) and to me, they play a bit... twangy.

I like My dean and washburn guitars because I've put both through hell and back and they manage to come back wioth a stonger tone than before. for example, the nexk on my Michael schenker V is starting to bow a little bit, but I've got that fixed now. and i noticed that since then, even though the neck has a slight curve, the intonation is alot better, where beforehand as i went up the nect, the notes would begin to ring flat.

the washburn has just been my go to guitar. it was the first i got, and i don't think I'll trade it in, just for sentimental value, and all the extra parts i put into it.

Well the guitar that I am building is not complete, but it already has an insane sound. twisted However, as far as stock guitars go, gibson les paul custom is the way to go. In my opinion, that is. Plus, gibson made the best pickup you can buy for rock (dirtyfingers).
