Macaroni Jesus Benzino the Great I don't mind if there is a march in the holy city, however, if they do, I just want it to be done tastefully.. I would prefer if it werent overtly sexual at all. Everyone be fully clothed, no cross dressing, ect. If they show respect to the religion, and to god by dressing respectibly, then I am fine with the march. I say this because the ones in NY.. well.. they tend to go all out and really flameboyant? I hate flameboyancy. There is nothing wrong with being flamboyant. Its when you walk around in assless chaps with ghetto makeup and feathers thats makes it really annoying. xD I think that's what he meant by flamboyance

Benzino the Great kingpinsqeezels To start this off, I will just say that I am very Pro-Rights. I respect that homosexuals deserve the same things straight people do, however, I understand where the ultra-Orthodox are coming from. Jerusalem is the Holy City, and there are 2 other towns in Israel that would be much better suited for a march than Jerusalem. I am fine with the march being held in Jerusalem, but you have to look at it from their point of view. I wear skirts all the time, and I don't think I'm being disrespectful to anyone when I do it.

LordNeuf shtolts tiger I think it's totally disgusting!!!!! It says clearly in the Torah not to be gay! Yes but it also says you're not supposed to blend fabrics of animals with fabrics of plants. I haven't seen anyone condem me for wearing a cotton/wool flannel jacket. How would somebody know the material of something that you are wearing? You don't go around saying "Hey, I wear animal fabrics with plant fabrics." And if you did, it wouldn't affect the rest of us. These people are doing something against the Torah AND in the holiest city in the world! They know exactly what they are doing and they don't care.

What did the Israelites wear waaaaay back when? Did they wear jeans, t-shirts, and the clothing we wear now? Of course not. So, in our day and age where gender equality is a big issue, and there isn't supposed to be such a thing as "clothing for men only" and "clothing for women only", how do you tell who's crossdressing? wink

OK, I'm going to be blunt about this...
If practicing Jews start being gay, lets just say there's going to be trouble. A lot of trouble. Because then the gays are going to start wanting to "marry", and if they start "marrying", then one of them will go out and have some kids. And if that happens, then nobody will know whose kids are whose, the kids are not going to know who their real mother or father is, and they're going to have a fit. I wouldn't blame them. I mean, for all they know they're not pure Jewish.
Basically, if practicing Jews start going gay, it's going to make a real mess of things.
So, anyway, that's my opinion. It's not directed personally against anyone. I'm not anti-gay, even though I don't like it. It's just my opinion. Besides, I've been needing to get this off my chest for a while sweatdrop

What do you mean?Well, homosexuals can't have kids naturally. Sure, some women can get en vitro fertilization, but not all. So they'd have to adopt, in most cases. This problem can happy to any kid who's been adopted and finds out.

I mean, they're already paranoid about adopting kids out to single people.
Besides, nowadays being nowadays, it probably won't be so clean. There will probably be plenty of, let's say, playing around.
