"Sonofabitch!" She swore as she hit the ground, wincing, then jumping back up."Oh that is so ******** it!" She lunged at the Imp and grabbed it by the ears, smashing it's head against the ground repeatedly and ignoring the pain that was going through her stomache.

She was able to get in a few decent hits, but it wasn't anything spectacular.
(18 damage!)
Now the imps had their fun. The first one, having built up his power like Spaz was trying to do, rammed it's fist straight into Spaz's shaggy head. For some reason, the charge skill kept him rooted to the ground...so he would have felt a pretty decent blow without moving an inch...

Letting out a primal scream, Spaz drove his fist into the face of the first Imp, delivering a bone-crushing blow. As it staggered, he swept his arm out and smashed the back of his hand into the side of its head, knocking it toward one of its allies.
"Come on Kali, use your weapons! Point gun, pull trigger, stick pointy blade in badguy!"

Kali muttered something and unsheathed the kotetsu, running towards an imp and slicing. The blade felt odd in her hands, as she had never used anything like a sword before. (unless you counted a lacross stick) She really hoped this wouldn't chop her head off...But if it chopped the Imp's head off, that would be great!

Turning an enraged eye on the last Imp, he charged toward it and drove both his fists into its chest like a battering ram.

As Kali finished the last one...Spaz noticed a small crystal fly out of its garments...it landed among the soft grass and was easily seen...
It glinted yellow as the sun...and radiated a great feeling of warmth....one that seemed to be detectable from miles away...

It looked like some sort of...yellow crystal? He couldn't really gather anything from further inspection, but it certainly seemed important.

Kali wiped the blade of the sword on the ground then slipped it back into the sheath, slung the rifle across her shoulder then looked at Spaz. "Okay, take you're shiny crystal...thing...and let's keep going. We have what, ten floors to die in?" She said, watching him.
