    What stands out is that you used the gradient tool, a big no-no in things pixel art-ish. The hair has a very jagged feel, as pixel art you should anti-alias it after smoothing out the lines; then add the shadow to the hair. 3nodding

    Also, for the mask I'd use a dark color like that of the undershirt and for a border/outline of the mask I'd use a darker shade. Pixel artists try to avoid pure black.
