Dacian smiled at the newly named Adair, trying to project as harmless an air as possible. Even with the claws, the kid was cute - but cute in the way that a small, dangerous animal was cute. He'd rather not get this kid mad at him.
After all, making Ismet mad didn't put him in fear for his life; the kid could be scary, but he didn't think Ismet would ever hurt him. He didn't know this kid, yet.
"There are two others like me, Hadrian and Ahneta; Ahneta'll be your teacher when you're old enough, and Hadrian will give you check ups."
Better make sure he knew who the other two - that way he might be a bit less nervous if he met them.

Adair watched him closely for a moment, then shrugged, deciding to accept his presence. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with him. Though he didn't know what teachers and check ups were, that didn't seem all that important at the moment. His attention returned to the 'guardian'. After all, that would be who he'd be living with.
The two eyed each other warily, no questions being asked, no boundries pushed. Finally Kaindra decided this could be done better at the apartment. She turned to Dacian and gave a small smile before letting it drop.
"So anything else I need to do?"
