N'tren moved over so that the others could sit at the table. He nodded at M'haal and moved the bowl close to Splotch. The determined bronze pushed the bowl towards Gem and chirped lightly at her.
"I don't think Splotch has taken anything he shouldn't have or I would have heard about it. It should be all my stuff or stuff from the beach he has gathered for her."
Another sip of klah and snagging a fresh piece of bread, N'tren wondered how he was going to keep from going stir crazy.

Orana gazed outside at the falling rains; it was coming down hard. Orana sighed at least the rain was better than thread fall. So Orana gladly welcomed the weather. After all it could be much worse. In her arms Orana held the small golden flit Malathan while her two shoulders were occupied by the bronze Ithean and brown Varlen.
It was time to go to the kitchen and get them their food. Orana had oiled them not to long before. "Come on little ones." she said to the two on her shoulders as she stepped out into the rain. Malathan gave a chirp of discomfort. Of course Orana thought She was wet. Malathan hated to be wet. Orana did her best to shield the little gold one as she ran over to the kitchen to get a mug of Klah followed by the two who were previously on her shoulders.
Orana felt a roof over her head once more. Her thick curly hair was drenched and would be frizzy when it had completely dried. Her leather clothes faired well better than the rest of her.
Malathan flew out of Orana's arms and into the kitchen, she flew to the rafters and was followed by the other two and awaited Orana's entrance into the kitchen.
Orana followed and went to ask for some meat for her flits and a mug of Klah for herself before noticing the lot of other people here. Orana walked over to the group.
"Hello." Orana said and smiled addressing the entire group. three were riders Orana knew that, She had met Caleten and her flit gem before. And she didn't know whom the other bronze flit belonged to. N'tren she had briefly met with Remia, she knew M'haal from the sands. He had impressed a bronze. The others Orana didn't really know.
N'tren, rider of Daliath, X'lias, rider of Gurath and M'haal, rider of Toranth Came the sleepy voice of her dragonet
How do you know my love? Orana responded
Because I am me dear one. He replied sleepily
Go back to sleep love. She said in a partially teasing voice

Gem refused the food stiffly replying that she was not hungry. At least now she was being close to civil, an improvement.
Caleten looked up from the flit drama, sure they would make a great tale for harpers to entertain young teens. "He has an impressive effort, that much I have seen. Gem's hiding places are filling up. It must be a bit vexing to have your stuff taken. I try but Gem is being stubborn in her reslove, but I think he is starting to get her to warm up to him again." With the flits, she took no side though would lavish love and attention on either. They would work things out, that much she hoped was certain.
The woman that walked in was fimilar, but she didn't remember her name. When Caleten met her, she was the nomad holdless that didn't care who she met. Indeed, she didn't care about anyone's name unless they were directly usefull to her. In politeness she responded, "Hello" but didn't even try to use a name for she honestly couldn't remember.

Sania smiled. "Hello and thanks. I just am getting used to living in a weyr." Just then she noticed the fire lizards. "Wow, I've never seen so many of them in one place before!" She began to watch them.

Far stumbled her way down to the kitchens, wringing out her short hair as she did. "Stupid weather..." She muttered before noticing the others in the room. "Oh, hello." The Harper apprentist noticed the flits as well, but did not say anything. She smiled at them before making her way to the fire, if only to dry out her hair.

Khavida slides into the kitchens taking cover from the rain outside. She looks around the room with her blue-green eyes. She walks over to the fire and sits down to dry out her clothes and her dark hair. She says to no one in particular... Some rain we're having. She watches the flits with some amusement then closes her eyes leaning back.

"Yeah, some rain. Seems like a hurricane to me." Far said, looking over at Khavida. The Harper's red hair was drying out. She watched the flits with interest.

Khavida smiled at Far, a fellow harper. Well at least we won't lack for rain for the crops. They'll be drowned! She giggled slightly then stood. I don't believe we've met before, my name is Khavida, I'm a harper here. Her blue-green eyes glint with merryment, despite being soaked through.
((Unrelated note, I couldn't find out who our master harper is...Anyone know the name?))

"Ain't that the truth! We'll be feasting on water and mud." Far chucked, nodding at her comment. She smiled. "I'm Farua, but I go by Far. I'm a Harper too. Nice to meet you Khavida." A grey cat slinked it's way to the girl and rubbed his face on her calf. "There you are Xeniane. I was wondering if you had gotten out of the storm." He meowed and looked at her expectantly.

((Oooh lookie, a mule just to rp Khavida! >.>))
Khavida laughs quietly then notes the cat. Alright, you're a harper and you have a feline. Are we secret twins or something? Khavida takes the small sack off her shoulders and opens it to show Far a small very damp black furry cat. This is Celi. She likes to hide in my sack most of the time. Especially when she sleeps like now.

Far chuckled. "You never know... Celi is so cute." She said, piering at the small cat. Xeniane jumped up on her lap and placed a paw on her shoulder. The Harper turned to her cat and looked at his blue-green eyes. "Alright, I give you food. This is Xeniane. I found him a few years ago playing my flute-pipe for a group of dragons. I, of course, made the mistake of giving him food. The fur ball hasn't left me since." She said, pulling out some strips of meat from her pack and giving them to the cat. He purred contently and jumped off her lap to eat the meat on the floor.

Khavida laughs Never feed a feline you don't want to inherit! She stoops over offering her hand to the feline, expecting to be ignored altogether by it.

Xeniane looked up from his meat and slinked over to Khavida's hand and sniffed it. Figuring out she wasn't giving him any food, he turned back to his meat.
"Well, I've taken that as a sign that he realized you exsist, but unless you're giving him food, I doubt he'll pay attention to you." Far commented, petting her fur ball on the head. She turned back to Khavida. "How long have you been here at the Weyr?"

Khavida laughs loudly I figured that'd be the reaction. I've been at the weyr almost all my life. The story is I was found sitting outside on a rock when I was small. They guessed I was about four. Sometimes I go to that same rock and sit... She trails off, watching Xeniane for a moment. Then she smiles and looks back at Far How long have you been here Far?
