Skip wasn't looking too well. At least the newest wound wasn't splitting open with puss. Puss was kinda very disgusting. Vixen didn't like the serpent. It was hurting Skip. Emerald, however, seemed to be doing quite well for herself.

Skip really wasn't feeling all that good, and the poison was only making it worse. "Um... Emerald? I think I'm poisoned. Do you have anything that can help?" As he said this, he leaped at the second serpent, and slashed at it. < > to Serpent 2

Thank God. It missed it's venomous blow (man, she had good luck), and she finished it off with a sweep of her tiny blade.

Emerald dashed over as soon as the fight ended, using her free hand to scoop up the puddle of clear snake bile that lay on the floor. How did she know that that stuff would have any effect?
...something inside her itched. This was part of her disorder...yes..that was it. She knew almost everything about injuries and the like. This was just another facet of that? Cool.

Splashing the acidic liquid on Skip's arm, she held him close.
"You'll be okay...I...promise..."

"You'll....be ********! Stop...I...mean...heh. Sorry. Got a little spooked by the wound...you'll be fine, Skip. I promise."
The voices wouldn't go away...whenever he got hurt...or anyone, for that matter, she flipped...hypochondriasis. Ups and downs disease was more accurate. Oh, well...

Vixen went over to Skip and watched intently as Emerald put some stuff in his wounds. It looked kinda disgusting, really, which was why she was so fascinated with it. Would it take a while for him to get better? Vixen hoped not. She didn't like the thought of just waiting in one spot while numerous more things came to attack. Finding them was much more fun.

Skip felt a whole lot better. Except for the fact that his health was less than it should be. Instinctively, he took one of the Gysahl leaves, ripped half of it off (not wanting to waste the precious leaves), and ate it, hoping that would help. After that, he said, "Well, that was... fun. Aside from all the pain. That wasn't quite as fun..."

"No, pain isn't ever fun."
What were they waiting for? Emerald looked funny. Like she was worried or something. That was nonsense though. Skip was just fine! Emerald had cured him. Maybe something else was bothering her. Oh well. Vixen didn't care, she just wanted to progress. Progressing was always good.
"Can we go now?"

"I guess. We're all good here, right?" Skip said, stretching. He knew it would only get worse from here, but so long as he didn't get poisoned again, he'd be okay with it. "So, onward!" Skip said, walking forward.

Finally. Vixen's patience was very little to none. She followed Skip, staring ahead and tried to stay focused this time. There had to be many, many more things that awaited death, and she didn't want to miss any.

(Skip...+25 HP)
Emerald followed close behind, wringing her hands nervously.
The path seemed to explode into numerous possibilities, making themselves known rather suddenly.
Before them, a larger opening, with heightened ceiling sporting an array of stalagmites...or stalactites. Whichever. It was really cool. The left and the right both bore new paths, the rightmost one turning left at its finish, and the leftbound one merely dwindling off in the distance. This was all very new an exciting. Seeing the grander "round room" alone was enough to yell "ECHO!" a few times...before getting really bored...
Anyways, where to?

Right or left, left or right, Vixen didn't know. The right only turned left, and the left only went on and on. Well, right seemed nice. Maybe Vixen just favored the right side. Maybe she should actually consult the other people. Hard to do, but she could manage.
"So, right or left? Right seems good, or whatever."
