"I didn't say she was ... oof." He had tried to sidestep Father's blow but his hoof still caught on his shoulder. It jarred him but he didn't go down. Shaking his head he glared at Father as he turned. Never had he called mother weak. Father had called her that. He only said that Plague called her that. How dare he put words in his mouth.
He held back a snarl just barely as he followed after Father. Small pain or not he was getting what he wanted and he would return the damage one day. It wasn't like he would ever forget the pains that Father inflicted on him and his siblings.
As they passed by the other two foals he stretched his neck out and snapped at his brother. "Only cowards talk about others behind their back." He had seen Taint's eyes on him even if he hadn't heard his words.
He knew his siblings disliked him because he was seen in better favor. They should learn from him. Not being so stupid would get them less bruises. Learning from their previous bruises would make them get less. Not that they would ever be able to match him even if they tried.

Going to see their Mother?
Torment eagerly tagged behind her Father, moving to the other side of Taint as Tarnish grew closer towards them. Although she feared him less from the conversation she had with Loveless about him, that still didn't mean she had to walk beside him. He was still creepy, no matter how she tried to look at him.
Thoughts raced through her head... what was Mother going to be like? It was true as Tarnish said, Father had called her weak on quite a few occasions... but if she was so weak, then why would he have had anything to do with her in the first place?

He snorted softly at Tarnish, rolling his eyes as his brother trotted past him. "Only idiots open their mouths when they should keep them shut." He muttered beneath his breath.
He wasn't sure whether or not he liked this idea. No one had said that he had to, of course. Why on earth would he want to meet someone that had left he and his siblings with Father?
Father had said horrible things about her... Were all of them true? They couldn't have been. Perhaps that would be why he wanted to meet her... To see if all of the things were true; to know if they really were almost worthless because they came from within her.
That settled it. He held his head high as he trotted after the other three; keeping a fair distance. If anything popped out of somewhere it could eat Tarnish and Torment first...

He knew they'd trail behind him, and therefore had no need to turn around and check. Even bold and confident Tarnish would follow... no doubt his interests perked at being able to see the mare that birthed him. He was sure all of them were curious as to their colors, seeing that he was dark, instead of the pinks, purples and whites the trio shared amongst themselves. They would see where they received their colors from, and it interested him of what their reactions would be. He hoped, actually, that they would be caught off guard by her appearance, like so many creatures were. As beautiful as Diabetia was, being intimidating was not her strong point. Sweet and innocent was, however, and perhaps the foals would see through her trap. Or perhaps not. Either way, it was worth watching, as well as teaching them a vital lesson on how looks can be deceiving.
A grin slowly formed on his mouth as he continued to walk. He couldn't wait to see Diabetia's face when he approached her with all three in tow.

"You're ignoring that i got what i wanted." He grinned at his brother before ignoring him mostly. He never completely ignored the other two foals but he could pay only the minimal attention to them at the moment.
He didn't see it as following Father. Instead he saw it as being taken where he'd asked. So much easier that way and it just proved that what he asked to be done would get done one way or another. It was a good thing Father was doing what he'd asked. He wouldn't want to have to risk more injury to make Plague do something.

Tarnish made a good point. Yes, he had gotten himself a kick to the side, but in the end, had gotten what he originally asked for. Torment's brow furrowed, thinking about it. When had she ever gotten anything she asked for? In fact, when had she even asked for anything at all? Maybe there was more to this confidence thing than she thought.... would Plague give her what she wanted, if she was able to withstand some of his inflictions? Probably not, since Tarnish was the obvious favorite. There was no doubt Plague preferred him to the others, and that was probably why, in the end, Tarnish got his wish.
Her eyes quickly met with the dark empty orbs of her brother, and she quickly looked away to find another distraction. She'd be as tough as him one day... and he and Plague would never see it coming.
Drifting her gaze from one brother to the next, she smirked as she watched her youngest brother. At least she'd always have the upperhand when it came to comparing herself to Taint. As witty or as funny as he was, he still wasn't any match when it came to strength and violence. He tended to have his own manner of doing things which seemed to suit him fine, but Torment didn't understand why he couldn't just go along with everyone else. It felt good to be violent, and felt good to be strong. Her mother must have known what being strong was like, if she felt herself weakened by the idea of taking on three children to raise. Yep, that was probably why she allowed Plague to take them, she wanted to concentrate on her own shortcomings to better herself. Torment was almost sure of it. What else could it possibly be?

Dia held her smile, her eyes never leaving those of the rabbit who had wandered up to her, suspicious of her sweet scent. It was a pity there weren't more creatures out there dense enough to mistaken her for someone simply pretty and innocent looking... it was so much fun, living a lie.
Her head leaned down, and she cooed softly at the rabbit, beckoning to draw near to taste the candies covering her hair. The hare paused, then hopped its way closer towards the mare, the sweet smell overpowering its little nostrils.
It was right within an attainable range, when the rabbit got spooked by some outside noise and bolted, leaving behind a perturbed and hungry kalona. The mare raised her head and looked around, attempting to search out the cause of the noise that had lost her her lunch. She'd let them know what she thought of them, and afterwards would chase that brainless rabbit down and devour him anyhow, just for the hell of it.
A strong odor filled her delicate nose, and she gagged at the scent. There was only one thing that powerful in smell, and she wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.
Enraged, Dia's hot pink eyes narrowed in the direction from which the smell was coming from. The b*****d who had taken everything from her, and given nothing in return but sore bruises and stinging words. She still had marks, as light as they were, covering her body, forever proving the mutant's rage and anger that had been taken out on her beautiful form. She'd never forgive or forget the treatment he gave her, bossing her around like some little foal.
Foals. Just the word brought a nasty taste to her mouth. She'd no doubt in her mind that Plague would have killed the three that had sprung from her loins; as patient as Plague had attempted to have been with her as a foal only lasted for so long. Dia knew his patience had grown thinner over the years, and there was no way he'd have kept three newborns alive. It wasn't possible, Plague only thought of himself, and nothing more.
Her eyes averted themselves towards the ground as little squeaks rang out into the silence. She glanced down to see a rat pawing at her legs, attempting to gnaw out the sweetness it smelled from distances away. She snorted and stepped on it, leaning down to lick the blood off of her hoof and then snatching the carcass up to begin chewing. Her hot pink hooves turned and she drew closer towards the forest, intent on hiding within it until the odor passed away. As much as she hated the mutant who had caused so much trouble in her life, she wasn't in any mood to battle. Well, not without lunch first, at least.

He rolled his eyes at Tarnish, going right back to ignoring the other colt. That wasn't what he was ignoring... No, he was ignoring Tarnish in general. It wasn't his fault that his brother was too stupid to realize that. He didn't quite understand what it was that Torment saw in him to be afraid of...
Then again, he didn't really understand Torment much at all. They seemed to be the most alike as far as appearances went; fluffy wings and tiny, pointed horns. That was where it stopped though. She wanted to be all that she could be to please Father and he? He pleased himself just fine no matter what Father thought. He just wanted to survive long enough to prove that he was better than them... Than him.

Tiny voices hissed and spoke amongst themselves behind him, but Plague ignored the foals as he continued to eye the area around them. The rats had started running ahead of them, which was a good sign, for they always had seemed rather eager around sweet scents.
He followed the trail of rats, eventually picking out the sugary smell in the air, his nose immune to his own stench. It wouldn't be long before she would appear, in her pink fury, no doubt. Hopefully, she'd be even more surprised to see the little ones he had brought along with him. Her reaction would be priceless, and he'd savor it, much like he savored her expression when he initially stole the foals from her.
The mutant's pace slowed down as he continued on, studying the nearby forest of trees, searching for any white and pink abnormalities among its shadows and leaves.

As they walked he started to notice a strange scent on the air. He was used to whatever it was Father smelt like but this. This was just nasty. It was almost as if it clung to the roof of his mouth and he thought he'd be smelling it for days.
Shaking his head he caught up to Father and walked along beside him. His ears twitched at every sound to make sure that nothing snuck up on him. Father wouldn't protect them from everything and the last thing he wanted was for something stupid to try to take a bite out of him.

She noticed the foul expression on her brother's face, and Torment paused to sniff the air herself. Something sweet was drifting in the breeze around them, but where was it coming from?
Maroon hair tossed from one side to the other as her head turned back and forth, trying to locate the smell's origin. It was faint, but strong enough to overpower the rotten stench of Father.
As Tarnish moved forward to stand by the mutant's side, Torment decided to move to Father's other side, her gray eyes continuing to search ahead of their path. It was familiar, but vague.... had she ever smelled it before?
"Father..." she piped up, uneasy at the silence among the group, "Father... what is that smell?"

She could see them now.... them. Her eyes blinked, and she instinctively bared her fangs, her dark pink gaze narrowing at the quartet drawing nearer to the forest she lurked in. How was it possible that they were still alive? All of them?
A white colt with dark, empty eyes and bright pink wings walked alongside the mutant, as if a shadow to the larger stallion. Behind him, two feathery pink wings bobbed up and down, another foal trailing behind it's paternal creator. And, on the other side of Plague, trailed a dark filly with white wings. Save for some color, she looked very similar to her father. Far too similar.
Snorting, she drew herself from the forest's cover, no longer feeling the need to mask her presence. Coincidental meeting or not, she would take care of these monsters once and for all. She may not have had the strength to do it previously, when they first were introduced to one another, but she was much stronger now, and the urge to kill had grown, just as her hatred for the stallion who had impregnated her had grown as well.

Unlike the others who continued to trot merrily along he froze, eyeing the creature that had just stepped out of the woods not far from them warrily. Was this a mother? She was bright... Like Tarnish... And pink, like he and Torment. There was something about her...
His nose wrinkled and he snarled softly, not trusting this mother creature any more than he first had Father. He wasn't getting any closer to it until forced. He didn't trust her... Not one bit.

Plague turned to quiet the filly for questioning him without having been addressed, but his thoughts were distracted as a familiar white figure appeared from within the trees. His mouth stretched wide into a grin, exposing his rotten teeth.
"Well," he said, pausing in his walk, "Hello, Sweetness. Care to meet your offspring?"
His dark orbs glanced down to his sides, ensuring himself that his young followers had caught sight of the creature in front of them.
"Children, I'd like you to meet your Mother."

He looked up at the figure that had been called his Mother and snorted slightly. So that is why he was white and why the three of them had such bright colors. It had all been from her. She smelt even more horrible up close though.
He stayed by Father's side but stepped close enough that he could get a good look at her. Father seemed to have some sort of dislike when he addressed her but it didn't sound like the dislike he had when he was speaking to his siblings. It was different.
