"I was just telling them that Forever is a lot longer then they would think. I think my Grandpa Woobie would know as he's the oldest Pae I know." He chuckled and winked at Reira.
Waikiki KiKi shook her head. "Still, I hope it stops sooner rather then forever." She put a few more pieces on. "This is what it should look like out there!"

"Oh. I suppose he might know," Reira replied with a nod. After a pause, she continued: "Though there are things that last forever... Like family. Or love. Love can last forever. ...So I suppose the rain could--..." She giggled and rubbed Keanu's back a bit. He seemed much more concerned about this than his sister. "But I really don't think it will." She told him with a smile. "See, I think it just got a tiny bit lighter just now," she said, pointing to the window. Honestly, though, it looked just as heavy, if not more so, to her.
Waikiki Keanu looked at the window. He supposed it was just a little better. "Okay," he replied, adding another couple pieces to the picture. It was starting to come together. "But I agree, I want it to look like this outside."

Tiki Jim nodded in agreement to Reira. "Yeah, those things do last forever. Even if we don't relize it." He then smiled. "Yeah, I think it will slow down soon enough."
"I'm glad family and love last forever." Waikiki KiKi giggled. "The rain is pretty, but it's not as fun as surfing."

"They're good things to have," Reira replied, standing. "Does anyone want something to eat?" She was a bit hungry herself, though she hadn't decided what to fix yet.
Waikiki Keanu made a face at all the mushy talk. Sure, he was fond of his family, but all this love business wasn't 'cool' to him. "Surfing was awesome!" he chimed in, hearing his sister's comment.

"Yeah, and my new power." She sat up all proud like. She then looked to her mom. "Sure. Thanks, Mom." She smiled and then went back to the puzzle.
Tiki Jim shurged. "I can eat. Want help?" He asked Reira getting up. He was sure he could help in some way. Cooking was in the family.

"Sure," Reira replied. "I don't know what I'm making, though," she giggled. "Any ideas?"
"I'll have something too, please," Waikiki Keanu called after his parents before picking up another puzzle piece and trying to find where it fit. "Yeah, our powers are awesome," he commented to his sister as he snapped the piece in place.

Tiki Jim walked into the kitchen. "You don't know?" He chuckled and hugged her waist. "Well, let's see what is there?" He said as he looked around.
Waikiki KiKi giggled. "Yeah, I bet you could use yours now...Mine needs water I think." She sighed at the thought.

((I'm going to go ahead and grow June since she hasn't much to do right now. She can get an early start to her trouble-making! wink ))
"I don't know," Reira confirmed with another giggle. "I just knew I was hungry. Really, anything sounds good right now." She opened a cupboard and peered inside. "Anything look good?" she asked as she poked through the contents.
Waikiki Keanu looked out the window. It was a shame that Kiki couldn't just use the rain to practice her power... Or could she? "I have an idea!" he told her excitedly. "With all this rain, there's got to be a puddle somewhere, right? And the raindrops will be making waves in it..."
June, meanwhile, was exploring her abilities as a toddler. She had somehow managed to escape her 'prison'... or at least, half-way escape it. She was perched on the narrow top rung of the crib, giggling as she crawled around and reached for the mobile. It was much more fun up here than it had been down there.

((*nods* Makes sense to me!))
"Hummm..." Waikiki KiKi got up and looked out the window. "Do you see one?" She asked her brother. "Or the bathtub!" She giggled.
Tiki Jim found some bread and then some left over pineapple from Hula Bob's. "What could this make? Pinapple sandwitch?" He chuckled.

Reira shrugged. "We could try," she replied. "There's peanut butter and honey here, if either of those would go with it..." She wasn't sure if they would, but if they were going to try to make pineapple sandwiches... why not?
Waikiki Keanu sighed. Staying inside took some of the fun out of it, but then again the bathtub was bigger than the puddles looked. "Ok, race you there!" he exclaimed, preparing himself to clap. He paused for a moment to give Kiki a head start.
The mobile was so tempting... But June just couldn't quite reach it. She tried one last time, stretching her arm out as far as she could from where she was perched. This put her off balance, and she swayed for a moment before falling back into the crib. She sniffled and began to fuss, prepared for a full-fledged fit if that's what it took to get what she wanted.

Waikiki KiKi took off running and headed to the bath room. Hopefully their parents wouldn't mind it or anything. She may get the place a little wet.
"Sure why not? Sounds fun." Tiki Jim chuckled as it was going to be one interesting sandwitch. "Oh, someone's up." He said as he heard the baby.

Waikiki Keanu chuckled a bit as he clapped as loud as he could, thinking about the bathroom. He willed himself to be there, imagining both the route to walk and the path through walls to get there; anything that could help him to arrive at his destination. The thunder echoed as he found himself physically in the tub, which was luckily not full of water yet. As he climbed out he spotted his sister from the corner of his eye. "Beat you!" he teased. "But it was close."
Reira looked about as she pulled down both the peanut butter and the honey. "That was close," she commented offhandedly, referring to the thunder that she hadn't yet realized her son's power resulted in. "Surely that upset June even more... I'll go check on her." She paused for a minute, holding one of the bottles, before extending her arm to hand it to Tiki Jim. "Here, honey," she said coyly. Leaving the room to check on the newest addition to their family, she felt quite proud of herself for the little line.
Making a fruitless swipe at the mobile, June began to fuss more loudly. She sniffled out the beginnings of a tantrum just as Reira came to the rescue.

Tiki Jim nodded and began to make up the other sandwitches. He didn't notice that the kids had left, which I guess wasn't very good for a dad.
Waikiki KiKi looked at her brother with a frown. "That was cheating." Of course she didn't know that her Grandma LuLu cheated all the time too.
She started the water in the bathtube with a smile wanting to try her power more now.

"...But I won," Waikiki Keanu replied, sticking his tongue out at his sister jokingly. The water was filling up the tub, and he reached her arms in to make waves. "Try it, try it!" he goaded.
Reira picked up June to comfort her. "Oh my, you've already grown!" She exclaimed, rubbing her back and swaying slowly. When June's cries subsided, she sighed in relief. "There now, feeling better?" she asked. "Maybe we should get you some food, hmm?"
June wasn't necessarily calmed by Reira's soothing, but by the closeness of the mobile. Reaching over Reira's shoulder, June could just barely touch her goal, and during a sway she was about to grab on tight. Success!

"Yeah, we have some tastey treats for you." He told June with a smile and nod. "Where did the twins go? Do you think they want some?" He asked as he noticed they were missing.
Waikiki KiKi looked at the water. "Is there any waves in there?" There were some very small ones and she wasn't sure it would work with that.
