Contrary to popular belief, Reggie can't carry the company by himself. Even just without Kaplan, Nintendo's strong ties with IGN's Nintendo channels are severely injured.

Meh. It seems none of them hhave anything to do with actual game development. The games will remain the same, so I'm fine.

Snap.

Well, while this doesn't affect the games themselves, NIntendo's going to have a hard time with publicity now. I agree with what was said earlier: Reggie (as awesome as he otherwise) can't do everything.

For everything else, there's Master Card. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

They're business people. Business people are a dime a dozen. No need to worry about newcomers not knowing Nintendo because Reggie can straighten that mess out.

Reggie: *kicks everyone in the face* And THAT'S Nintendo.

Or we can leave Weapon X to do his thing alone. I like that plan.

I would want to see your face if Reggie leaves aswell. That would make my day.

Yes, and it would make my day if you got hit by a car.

But seriously, Reggie is an important dude. Do you even know the president of Nintendo of Europe? Reggie's name is only third next to Miyamoto and Iwata.

I don't even believe this, but if it were true...

So what.

But one question DOES come up: if Nintendo asks you to move somewhere in order to keep your NINTENDO job...why the ******** do you not comply? 'Tards.

because they have lives outside of nintendo?

We're not talking about play testers here dude. The priorities are slightly different. You know the kinds of sacrifices people make for their careers?

Besides my point is that a lot of us would kill to say "I work for Nintendo," and these clowns are just willing to give it up because they don't want to move.

No I dont think you know what you are talking about. you are a horney teenager. They are mature adults. The thought process difference between the 2 is major.

Not to mention the recent rise in nintendo's share of the video game market will look good when they send in resumes to work elsewhere. Or maybe they made enough money to allready retire and have no reason to continue working. None of us have any good reasons to doubt the leave of any of them aside from "uhhhh if it was me I'd move with nintendo. they're stupid." which is a really shitty reason.

Stop trying to insult me. I'm not a teenager and horniness has nothing to do with it.

They had comfy positions with a reputable business and they're willing to throw it away. They're not leaving because they already have enough money. They're leaving because they don't want to move.

If Nintendo's share of the video game market is increasing, why would they want to leave in the first place? I know it's nice to say "Hey, I worked for Nintendo," but isn't better to still be working for Nintendo? If they got a job elsewhere they'd end up having to move anyway.

I don't see the reason, to be honest. People move for their company all the time, so why are three big wigs and 90% of the rest of NoA's Sales and Marketing not moving? The math is failing here because nothing is adding up.

I say we drop the argument, nintendo has never failed, hell they took the risk of reviving the gaming industry, and look where they are now! every home around teh world! so they wouldn't pressure the market people unless they really needed them. that is my honest opinion.

I really hate to hear this. Perring, George and Beth were all very important people who got most of the spotlight when it wasn't aimed for Reggie. (At NoA, at least)

I don't know, if I was Reggie I'd tell them to blow off the whole moving thing just so they could keep these three.
